We got the Taco Bar catering at our offsite location for a 25 person party and let me tell you - it was FANTASTIC. The food was hot and delicious and the partygoers loved it. Also, there was so much that we sent everyone home with another plate! Highly recommend!!!The only issue I had was that the driver was around 10 minutes late (and we were right downtown Durham, so it wasn't like the location was far out or hard to find). Give yourself a buffer on the delivery time and you'll be fine.Would 100% order again!

Solid go-to place. Authentic tacos, sometimes I just wish there was a little more oomph (beans? A lil lettuce? Guac?) that could be thrown on them. Just meat otherwise!I still come back though, always satisfied

We hired the food truck for our family day event, and the food was fantastic. First of all, they offer an extensive menu compared to most onsite food service options. They had a significant number of staff onsite, and while the line was significant at times, they produced fresh and delicious food in a very reasonable amount of time. I also found their rates incredibly reasonable given the quality. The food itself is fresh and delicious and some of the best Mexican food available in the triangle. Elsa is very responsive in the booking process and easy to work with. Overall, working with La Vaquita was a great decision for us!

This is a good fast lunch option. It’s window service and picnic tables only. The food was good. We had very high expectations based on reviews and recommendations. We will need to go back to try other things to really give it a fair review. The burrito was good and so were the papusas.Parking: Gravel parking next door.

I placed an order for 2 Cuban cakes and 1 hoe and im very disappointed. Cakes were dry and lack of flavor. Torta cubana usually has ham and eggs and to my surprise this ones didn't and the ones I got didn't have cheese or pastor meat, again disappointing. Azada meat was dry and bread hard and dry. The young girl in the front was rude over the phone and when I picked up my order. This will be my last time coming here.I ordered 2 Cuban cakes and one hoe cake and the truth is, what a disappointment. The cakes are dry and tasteless. Cuban cakes are usually with ham and egg but to my surprise these are not and they also came without carde de pastor or cheese. The meat was very dry and the cake bread was very dry and hard. The young woman who took my order was super rude on the phone and at the window. I definitely won't eat here again.

A burrito, queso and chips, and a 12 oz soda was $21.50. Man with glasses who took my order was pretty rude. He overcharged me, and when I corrected him about the price he didn’t say a word, made the adjustment, and passive aggressively pointed to the new price. After paying I said thank you and he looked at me in the eyes and said nothing. Burrito was pretty good, nothing amazing, and the $6.50 queso and chips came with 13 chips. This place was WAY different a couple years ago when I last came. Price has gone way up, food got worse, and the attitude is severe.
