If I could be a bartender, this is the only place I would work.

Nice nook for drinks, board games, live music and snacks. Seriously they have every board game. Lovely musicians playing on a weeknight and friendly staff. Overall pretty quiet space, nice if you want to have conversations over drinks and games!

Totally cool low key place! The drinks were good and the vibe is chill. Plenty of games available and it was pretty quiet on a Friday night which was perfect because it wasn't hard to find a spot to sit and play a game. Good for a first date I must say...

sketchy little service industry bar where you can be you. cheap drinks that are worth drinking, board games galore, and entertaining bathroom wall art. Everyone was overly friendly, and pets are welcome. It was a great time, and you can bring in your own food which is cool. The bartender was wonderful and personable, it felt like sitting in your own living room. My only complaint was the smell, a little on the funky side, but down a few drinks and you won't care anymore.

My favorite in Durham so far. Great tunes, casual but intimate vibe, biggest collection of board games I've seen at a bar, and a bartender who was funny and sharp-tongued in a good-hearted way, deep down. Good beer options too.

I can't resist a bar with a sense of humor! Check out he funny descriptions on the cocktail list. It definitely adds to the charm of the place! The drinks are quite good and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

4.5 stars rounding up because - * It's a dive bar that's not that divey (and not too expensive) * Board game selection is amazing - we were with some non-regulars so we played Codenames and Blokus, but they had tons of titles incuding Seven Wonders, Carcassone, plus tons of games we never heard of

Chill atmosphere, lots of games available. Friendly staff. And an Art O Mat!

Cozy, intimate little spot with great decor and the bartender made me feel right at home. As a bonus, they have nearly every board game you could ask for.

Probably the closest thing downtown Durham has to a dive bar these days. Enjoy. :)

Fun dive bar with tons of games. Only drawback is that it's tiny.

This little bar has an amazing assortment of board/car games and a nice variety of beer and other drinks. I would highly recommend going on a game night because it's a nice way to meet new people and try new games. They don't have food, but you're allowed to bring it in, so that's really fun! Would definitely recommend!
