I waited in line at this food truck for a long time only to find out they were out of a lot of things. When I stated my disappointment bx I only wanted the one thing, they consulted with the cook and came back told me I would be getting the last of what I wanted. I was told about a 15 minute wait. When I checked on my order about 45 minutes later, I wad told mine was next up (but thry called someone else before me). When I opened my order, I found that they substituted for what I wanted. Food was so so. And the guy working the counter was nice, but he substituted flattery and flirting with customers to compensate for wait and amount of things they were out of. I will not be back, be honest

I tried this food truck for lunch today at Haymount Truck Stop. The staff were so kind and helpful, they gave us chips and salsa while we waited for our meal. It was $32 for two full meals. I had barbacoa tacos and my husband had carne asada tacos, both with rice and beans. The meat was delicious on both and the flavors were fantastic.

disgusting the chicken was not seasoned and tasted like boiled meat with no taste at all if you ever smelled boiled chicken with no seasoning it stinks PLEASE DON'T GO BY THESE 5 STAR REVIEWS...I PROMISE YOU!!!! It IS NOT good!!!!!

I didn’t enjoy this food. The quesadilla carne asada had a lot of fat pieces. No veggies just meat and cheese. The tortilla was weird. Barely finished it. Sorry!

DELICIOUS food truck! Especially the carnitas! They're based out of Fayetteville but we met them in Wilmington (so they travel pretty far). The guys on the truck are super friendly! The owner is a veteran, so that's awesome! What's really cool, is you pick your meat for your tacos and then pick how you want them topped. :) Fun concept! You also get to pick is you want a side or a drink! Also, we got a ton of food for a great price! :)

Mexi-OG. Super dry chicken and rice, very underseasoned rice and beans. Beans were burnt . Should rename the chicken tinga, cause it's literally just shredded chicken. It was so dry.

My birria tacos was stuck together and burnt and sloppy it would’ve been ok if they were seperate but it was like two tacos sharing the middle shell then my rice was burnt and tasted burnt. When I asked about it they act like they was mad cause I inquired then tried to give me some of money back claiming cause I already ate some lol like what

This is one of the best trucks to hit in all of the Fayetteville and surrounding areas. First time I tried it was in 2018 and I have gone out of my way to nom it down when I can. The portions are phenomenal and the flavor will blow you away no matter what you get. This man knows his food and brings you to flavortown! Key note. I'm a truck driver and have been all over. I will and have told people all over the country this is the truck to get food.

What an awesome find! We just happened to be at Bombshell Brewery and there was the California Taco truck. Being from CA, I had to try it :-) Everything sounded great and we ordered chicken tinga tacos with a side of rice and a couple quesadillas. The owner is a Veteran originally from Los Angeles and he was so nice and friendly. Our food was ready pretty fast and it was oh so good! Really generous portions and the chicken was so tender and delicious. We will definitely seek this truck out in the future. Highly recommend and can't wait to try some of the other items!
