Food was super amazing. The flavor was incredible. The service on the other hand, was not impressive. The restaurant was nearly empty and we waited a little less than an hour to get our check after we were already done with our drinks and our food.

Just watched 2 servers crying outside because in the 8 hours that they worked, they made ~$15? They explained to me and my wife that they get paid $2.13 / hr because the restaurant anticipates that they will get tips. Seemingly it is common for them to not make many tips. Maybe it's because morale is low? Maybe it's because people can't afford anything after spending $100+ on food? Anyways, don't give this place business! If they are anticipating their servers getting tips so they can pay unlivable wages to the people that carry their COMPANY, they are scamming their workers, who's to say they aren't scamming you too? They're putting all their money into Landry's casinos anyways.Food was fine, took forever though, so I can't give a decent review on it because I was so hungry I just shoveled it down and just didn't think about it. I didn't walk out happy though. Knowing that these servers, some are single mothers, don't get paid anything and get 0 respect from their company, doesn't make me a very happy man.To future potential customers, don't go! Texas Roadhouse is right next door AND it's cheaper! The staff is happy, probably because they make more money in tips (reasonably anticipated). To current and future potential employees, quit. Don't go! Texas Roadhouse is right next door AND it gets more business! You, as a staff member would likely be happier, probably because you'd make more money in tips (reasonably anticipated). To Landry's or Joes Corporate, specifically whichever one is watching all their customers with their expensive cameras, most likely using it to harass their staff about the most mundane things, be ashamed of yourself! You should cut your paychecks in half and pay the people that carried you to where you are now. You didn't earn your money, you stole it from the people that got you that paycheck in the first place.Final Verdict:0 / 1,000,000This place is disgusting in more ways than just the food.

Place smelled like garbage. Food was awful. Sent the unclean shrimp back and they cooked more shrimp with legs and doo Doo yuck! Crab cake was just unseasoned stuffing. Fries were cold with no seasoning. The manager and the server were nice but I definitely will never go

My husband and I dined here the other night and absolutely loved it!! Our server was amazing and super helpful with all of our questions. Food was great!! The drinks were so delicious!! I had a TKO and i can’t remember what my husband ordered but i know he said it was really really good!! You should definitely check this place out for good seafood, service, and especially if you’re looking for a kid friendly environment!!

Most of our food was vet good. Some of the fried food was a bit overcooked. The mustard salmon was delicious, and the king crab was soooo surprisingly good. SO MUCH MEAT! ?The tin drinking cups are adorable and free to those who order that type of drink.Unfortunately, I forgot mine on the table when we left. My bad?.? I would definitely recommend this restaurant and go back, but during peak hours.

When paying those prices, we expext good service, but we paid for the food and service that was horrible, and incompetence management is to blame. They knew we had a group of 30+ planned months in advance. There was 1 waitress taking orders and bartering at the same time. There was no clean silverware. Then, added to the bill. I ordered an 18.00 plate and 2 drinks. And my bill was 100. The restaurant was empty except for us, and still, the service was bad. I can't express the disappointment. I'm not interested in going to any Joe's Crab Shack ever. ?

Absolutely terrible service. The resrurant was only at 25% capacity and we still waited for our table two time longer than we we told. Then we waited another 20 min to put in our drink order, then another 10 to get our drinks. When we got our food we didn't get any silverware or condiments. We asked for them and the waiter never returned. After another 20 min of no one coming near our table I went to get the silverware and condiments myself. However, they didn't give us any claw crackers with the silverware, so that was another trip to the serving station. At the end of the evening they acknowledged the terrible service, but didn't adjust the check and made us wait another 20 to get the check after we were finished eating.

This was my first time at Joe's Crab Shack and I will be returning on my next visit to Fayetteville. The food was amazing, we all ordered the Captains Plate and had the nachos for an appetizer. The hostess was friendly and knew just what to recommend. I left with a t-shirt, the glass I ordered for my drink and a smile.

We had reservations for Mother's Day and asked to sit outside. The table was dirty and had to be cleaned before we could sit down. Meanwhile two other families came outside and found tables. A waiter came out and told us he would be back after he took the other two orders - WHAT!!!! (Strike One) I stopped him and told him we were here first waiting, whereas he said he was instructed three came in at the same time and went to the other tables. That was the first indication to leave but as it was Mother's Day, there were long lines everywhere else we passed. To our amazement, we saw a cat on the premises (told it been there a year) and it decided to trap a lizard to eat, right in eye sight of every diner! Strike Two! We left the outside and was given a table inside. Our server was polite, attentive, and accommodating to us. Once we made our order it took over 45 minutes for it to show up. (STRIKE THREE, etc). We ordered an appetizer that came right before the meal. My crab legs were old and not easy to retrieve from the shell. My food came with NO seasoning at all! None! My daughter and her mother-in-love ordered the crab bag and they came without the potatoes or corn. When we brought that to the the attention of our server, she went to get the missing food; another 30-45 minutes to finally arrive and had to go in to-go boxes. Meanwhile I ordered bottled water with a glass to pour it in; the glass was dirty! Still waiting for the corn and potatoes, our server made some concessions on the bills (with military discount), it was then 4:21pm; we arrived at 1 pm. Our server, Essence was apologetic every time she came to the table at no fault of her's for the food; her service to us was commendable. I was a fan of Joe's Crab Shack and now after spending close to $250, sadly, I won't consider eating there again.Parking: It was Mother's Day with plenty of parking.
Firstly, thers no 1-800 number. the general manager has to take a complaint that could possibly be about them and give it to their higher ups. Secondly to make a very long story short me and my husband went to joes for dinner, and mind you, joes is very expensive. and upon ruining my order which made it were me and my husband had to SHARE food, the general manager who is working now, 8:45 May 16th, was extremely rude and showed total disreguard and disrespect towards BOTH of us who seperately tried to explain the situation thinking maybe it was my lack of communication skills i then put my husband on the phone were this general manager told us she refused to FIX our order even though the food was WRONG . she couldve simply taken the food back and gave us something different for the same price were we wouldve returned the untouched food OR , let us order ANOTHER plate which she also did not let us do. Extremely nasty attitude. I will NEVER return here and i encourage my family and friends to avoid this place. The foods great, if they give you what you ask for and when you dine in i give customer service a 7/10 Not bad !! I ABSOLUTELY will never order from here again, nor will my family! Extremly upset for this being my hometown to have that type of representation !!!!!!!! Very dissapointed! Third times the charm! This will be our Third time in a row being let down by Joes!

Unfortunately, it's not the best experience. The bartender was also the only waiter. There were 4 tables the entire hour I was there. The shrimp and fish were over cooked. My drink was outstanding. I never saw my waiter/bartender again after I received my food. An off duty worker sat at the bar and held a conversation via video chat the entire time. She was so loud it was frustrating.

We haven't been to Joe's in quite a few years and we won't be in a hurry to return. When we arrived the hostess walked past us twice without looking at us and didn't seat us for 5 minutes despite the restaurant being empty (maybe 4-5 groups in the whole restaurant). We then sat at our table for another 5 minutes before our waitress arrived for drink orders. The drinks from the bar took another 10 minutes to arrive (again, they were absolutely not busy). For most of our time there, 4 or so employees were just hanging out with each other by the bar talking with their backs to the tables ignoring everyone. The appetizer was timely and tasty, but the main course (crab legs pots) was overcooked. The lobster claws were tough and rubbery from being over done. All in all, far below expectations when we are paying 200 dollars for a meal.

Definitely a good place to go if you want your server to overcharge you. We originally came in with a coupon, and a desire to get a few expensive plates to split among a group and save some money. The bill ended up being way more than we expected spending per person, as the server had misheard what we had ordered and gave us the wrong food. While this is fine, opting to trade a $13 appetizer for a $50 entree is unreasonable, especially on such a large order where it might go unnoticed. If you get alcohol, the price is inflated, so they can let you keep the cup. Our bill was massive. Even if you’re bringing a coupon in like we did, don’t expect to save money. They didn’t ring up our coupon immediately either, only bringing the check back when we told them of their error. There are better sea food places.

Really wanted seafood for lunch, Joe's was the only place we could find in Fayetteville that was open and wish we had gone somewhere else. Had oysters on the half shell, fish and chips, and grilled shrimp salad, water to drink. Oysters and salad were ok, fish and chips were sprinkled with small pieces of fried batter. Restaurant was cold, they were using a portable rental heater in the dining room. Our bill was $55.00. My first and last visit to a Joe's Crab Shack.
