It's okay. Today the fish was fresh but the shrimp didn't taste as fresh. I loved going there when it was buffet. But now that they are to go only I feel like it's not the same. I definitely don't think you get your money's worth. The food is cooked to order so it's hot and fresh. But the family style restaurant that I once knew and loved is greatly missed.

The food used to be amazing before the pandemic. Now it tastes like the food is dumped out of a can warmed up and put on your plate. I had the toughest beef and rice that tasted as if it was cooked in dishwater. At least I was able to eat the hush puppies.

Ordered 2 pints of barbecue and 2- 8pc boxes of chicken, total was $60+ dollars (carry out). I received a call from my wife that ordering on line would be cheaper per menu. The charge from google to sandpiper to stay current is a large amount from what I was told so therefore I talked to management and they worked with me and I received 2pnts of bbq and 1-8pc chicken for $35 which I agreed. On googles part if they could work with local businesses on advertising fees more then they would get a better total product to the (google customer) which should be the “MAIN” objective. The customer in today’s society has to scrape to get by (INFLATION) and it’s tough for all parties but if something doesn’t give on the top end (GOOGLE) then your product will never be what you envisioned it to be and believe me someone will come along and make their product better and cheaper and take it right out from under you!
It’s only take out. This place not dependable. I called to make sure their hours . Got in line 7:45pm closing time was 9pm . No more dark meat chicken than someone said we would wait 29 minutes. We were more than willing to wait. Now they change their mind again saying only white meat . Waste of time & effort. After the back & forth we left . Very bad for business

Picked up dinner at the drive thru today. Fast service and the food was hot. Since the restaurant is not currently open for indoor seating. No issues but a person approached every car asking for a few dollars. The same guy every time my mom comes here. It's annoying and they should ask him to not bother the customers.
Just left there and they weren't busy like they are usually on a weekend...only thing Hot was 2 out of 5 items I purchased...it'll be a while before I go back...I'm disappointed ?
