Great Hidden Gem ! A place for different lunch options. Today I had the shrimp daily special & stayed warm all the way to my office & yes they have hot sauce available.If Cafe 13 is not on the juror lunch list, it should be.I walked from SouthEnd a few times to eat here. Very friendly, nice folks own this place. Our breakfast here was simple and straightforward but everything tasted good. Bacon is perfectly crisp. You can dine in or take out. The dining area is a very calming and pleasant to have your meal.

This is one of my favorite places to eat!! Their salads are sooooooooo good!! They are huge and fresh made! I can usually get two meals off of one salad! My favorite is the grilled chicken salad. It has grilled chicken, tomatoes, cheese, cucumbers, croutons and the greens are so good. Definitely not those yucky tasting buy from the store prepackaged stuff!! FRESH! They also have a secret seasoning they put on the salads - that is the kicker right there! Their burgers are good, the chicken philly sandwich is amazing! They also offer HOMEMADE cake and pie! The apple pie is REALLY GOOD! They have specials on a regular basis - from a soup and sandwich combo when it is cold to their once a week fish days. Come hungry on the fish day cause it is a TON of food and the prices are very reasonable for downtown eating! I crave their salads - even on the weekends. Sometimes I get one to take home on Fridays so I have one for the weekend! The salads keep me coming back but I also love the staff!!! The owners - Rick and Stephanie are just the best people and they always have a smile and laugh for me! This place is kinda a home away from home for me.
