This restaurant is one of a kind. Our waiter Tucker was very friendly and helpful, always attentive. The atmosphere is very pleasant and inviting at this place and the artwork is beautiful. It’s in a good location right in the heart of downtown Greensboro. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some good Thai food at a reasonable price in Greensboro, NC

The food here is delicious, we’ve been several times both pre and post-covid and the quality has remained consistent. Go check them out.

I never had Laotian food before and this will not be my last. EVERYTHING and i mean everything was delectable. What I thought very exceptional, my daughter has an allergy to coconut and there was a menu for us already created, but they made an change and created a dish for her and she loved it. I had the peach mango mimosa with the meal, but also had an espresso martini, DELIGHTFUL!!!!

Attending the Yelp elite event at Laos Bar was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was taken by the minimalistic yet modern decor that, despite not boasting a plethora of bright colors, managed to create a warm and inviting ambiance. The food was nothing short of exceptional. The spring rolls and chicken wings stood out with their burst of amazing flavors, easily making them my top picks of the evening. What I especially appreciated was the wide array of vegetarian options they offered, ensuring that everyone's palate was catered to.For those who enjoy a kick in their drinks, the spicy margarita is a must-try. It added just the right amount of heat, making it a perfect accompaniment to the meal.Lastly, I can't end this review without praising the wonderful staff. Not only were they well-versed with the menu, but their insights into the origins of the restaurant concept added a personal touch to the experience, making it all the more memorable.Definitely a place I'd recommend and revisit! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The service was top-notch, with friendly staff making the experience even more enjoyable. Can't wait to return to this beautiful and cozy place soon! What did I try? - Chicken Wings (Must Have)- Pork Dumplings- Papaya Salad (Wow) - Laab- Khua Mee (DELICIOUS)- Nam Khao- La Paleta (Coktail)- Jade Elephant (Cocktail)

Nam kao (crispy rice & pork) was INSANELY delicious! I’ll be dreaming about that dish for a while! Friends said the pho wasn’t as rich in flavor as they were used to.

Me and a group of friends went to this restaurant in downtown Greensboro. Ambiance: The restaurant was fine. But it is very small and cramped and very low lighting. Service: The waiter was fine, a few missteps here and there but nothing major. Food: The food was okay, I honestly wouldn't necessarily come back here on purpose. The drinks were not all that great. I had high hopes for this one but it was mid.

Lao? WOW!Not sure if I reviewed before or withheld reviewing until I returned - well I returned - with a big vegetarian appetite and my omnivore son! They offer a Vegan Menu!! You can get at least 3/4 dishes vegan - without any fish sauce or anything. Now to the food...TOP 5 FRIES I'VE EVER HAD - They make "Bahn Mi Fries" that are amazing and completely unexpected at a Laotian restaurant. They made a vegan lettuce wrap and I had a tofu dish as well.My son had soup and another dish.Finished with a cold beer and we were beyond full and satisfied. One of the BEST MEALS I've had in Greensboro.GO GO GO!
