I have enjoyed maxie b's now for over 14 years. I first tried them at a bridal shower and it was delicious so I had to try more flavors. I do have to say I'm not a fan of their pound cake but that's probably because no one compares to my granny. The atmosphere is so cute and quaint and relaxed here. I love that over the years they have expanded and added a seating area that has a fire place, kid seating and books for the Littles. I hate that they got rid of their old rewards program but they recently began a new one that involves reusing your containers that your cake comes in. The service is fast and friendly and the fresh apple cake with caramel icing is a thing of dreams.

I bought a slice of cake and two cookies. I was disappointed that my cake slice was so small. They use to give big slices for the price , but now I guess that has changed.

The prices are consistent but the size of the slices are not. I’d recommend buying the cupcakes. I love the cakes and have been a customer for a few years but for $8 a slice sometimes getting a slice that’s three bites and sometimes a slice that’s eight bites makes me want to just make my own cake. I wish they had a better system for cutting cakes.

You gotta go. Always fresh and always delicious. It’s worth the wait but if you’re in a hurry you can do mobile pick up to avoid the lines.

I would usually give them 5 stars but today I ordered a cake for my nephews bday and they gave me the most driest cake ever. I really don’t appreciate my money going to waste.

We stopped in today to order some slices to try in advance of ordering our wedding cake. Super cute place and friendly enough staff. But I was so surprised at the cake! It was almost universally over-baked. We tried five slices; strawberry lemonade, key lime, banana pudding, caramel apple, and german chocolate. The caramel apple was really good—everything else was extremely dry and crumbly. Really bad german chocolate cake. :(

Smells good! Ambience is great! Such an adorable spot when it comes to decor. Service is good. But...we used to get a hunk of cake. Now it's a piece. I always get carrot cake and something has changed. Not as tasty as it used to be. Ingredients and serving size have been cut back on.

Wife likes their cake and they have vegan options, but definitely way too much $ for a slice of cake especially when Krispy Kreme is next door.

The old fashion cake taste just like one my aunt use to make by scratch several decades ago. Prices are okay but not as good as they use to be. Getting a little pricey so don't buy as often as I use too.

The atmosphere is absolutely a place to relax and enjoy your slice of cake or pie. The line was quick as I viewed all my favorite choices to eat. The texture of the cakes are slightly heavy and not light.
