I went to dinè in with my family. The server was very rude. The prices were astronomical . You pay extra if a child shares your food. So you end up buying more. They charge you a $10 fee if you do not order entrees. They make you seat around a large table with others, meaning there is no privacy. The WORST PLACE I have visited in Greensboro. A complete no no.

I love to pick Sapporo's Hibachi Shrimp meal and a couple of soups up every chance I get! It cost me $25 and feeds me two meals! The soup is always a great little appetizer before a healthy portion of shrimp and veggies over rice! I highly recommend Sapporo!

Terrible service. We went on a Friday night, just two of us. We were seated immediately at an empty table. We waited about 10 minutes and the waitress took our order and brought out salad, soup, and our drinks. That's where it ended. There is a long section of table top between the two cook tops where clearly no one sits because they had sauce cups and other things stored there. The waitress came and asked us to move to that area and started moving all the sauce cups and things that were stored there. Just scooted them with her arm down and grabbed our salads and soup We were eating and made us move to this area. Now this place isn't cheap and where we were now sitting we would have had to watch behind the cooks back. Part of this place and price is about the experience! We weren't going to be able to see anything and felt incredibly awkward sitting between the two tables staring at the cooks back. We got up and left, couldn't tell you how the food was besides the bite of salad and soup we got before we were rudely made to move.

Nothing greater than TERRIBLE! Shrimp and steak was sooo chewy. The broccoli was super crunchy along with the onions! The waiter started of sweet, but soon started rushing and not listening! Told her a kids plate, she brung back a ticket including an adult plate, which she made no adjustments. Simply just told me she didn’t hear me and that parents get their kids adult plates all the time. My daughter had nothing but white rice and steak. No salad, and didn’t eat the soup. She didn’t even get vegetables. The waitress made no adjustments! I came home and gave my dog the leftovers of the whole steak I boxed up! The steak was so red it was almost purple & brung out mashed up concluded w/ a weird taste and tough! Highly not recommend! 1st and last time! Oh yea, can’t leave out the water tasted like sprite and the sodas were kinda flat, probably time for a cleaning! 1 star is too many stars actually. The nicest person in there was the hostess! He did an amazing job making the necessary adjustment to seat our party! Kudos to him! The soup and salad was the best thing they had going and a lil plate of rice lol!

Food was great however overall experience what's negative. We had a reservation and still had to wait an hour and 30 minutes to be seated. While waiting on the check to arrive, my excuse myself to the restroom I was trying to find it and I heard a loud voice say sir behind me I realized it was our server. And then when she realized I was trying to find the bathroom, she said Oh I thought you were trying to find something. Let's be real it was the end of the night and you thought I was going to walk out on my bill. She had a bad attitude throughout the service and had to remind her multiple times to get a salad with ginger sauce, which I did not receive until the end of our meal in a togo box and because of This Woman's unprofessional can borderline racist behavior I won't be back.

If I had to compare this place to Arigato's Japanese Steak & Seafood House, hands down, Sapporo's is most definitely the winner. The hibachi menu items, soups, salads, and sauces were all superb. My only complaint is that the seating was a little cramped, but the food preparation and flavor combinations made the slightly crowded seating issue almost irrelevant. Look forward to going back again and trying more menu items - highly recommended!
