Our inaugural visit to Sushi Republic left us with mostly positive impressions. The parking situation can be a tad tight, especially for larger SUVs navigating the ramp. However, for most vehicles, it’s manageable. The food offerings were decent overall. We particularly enjoyed the fried calamari and found the fried udon to be excellent. The sushi and sashimi platter impressed us with its freshness, although it’s worth noting that they don’t use traditional vinegar rice like authentic Japanese sushi. The fried rice was a standout—flavorful and satisfying. On the other hand, the chicken skewer and fried tuna mushroom left us somewhat underwhelmed. The restaurant’s atmosphere and service, however, were delightful. For Americanized Japanese cuisine, the food quality is commendable. Plus, the pricing is quite reasonable. Overall, a positive experience.

The service is great. We went there on a Friday before the Katt Williams show started & it wasn't busy. We were seated quickly. I ordered shrimp & scallop teriyaki & my son stir fry noodles seafood, but it was super spicy which my son loved. If I'm in Greensboro again I would definitely stop by.

This was my first time at sushi republic. Me and my daughter started out with the AHI Hawaiian appetizer and it was very good! I ordered the Ninja Roll and my daughter had the yellow tail roll and soup. The food came out super fast! My Ninja roll was great. My daughter said the yellow tail was good but that she preferred another sushi place for that particular roll. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, very relaxing. Our total bill was 48.00 which wasn’t bad for everything we got. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good sushi! I will definitely be going back!

Great atmosphere and place for any date. Make sure that you ask for the server Jack because he made excellent recommendations for the different sushi rolls. I made sure to order the Snap Dragon, the Red Dragon, the Red Ninja and the Escape. Out of all of these I was mainly impressed with the Red Ninja and the Escape.

Food was great, slow service.Vegetarian options: Section of menu was vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: You can specify if you want something omitted from an item.
The food is great !! Small portions. But I guess that goes with this type of food. Everything is always fresh, the staff is good with larger portions parties ( we always have 10 or more ) well seasoned and always a good time . We have a large family.. so this is our go to place. We do try to make reservations!! Parking is a problem. But you can find a space. Just give it a min or get creativeDietary restrictions: No mushrooms

Do NOT go within 90 minutes of them closing. We used to go every week but will never go again. Food is excellent, wait staff has an awful attitude. Will never go back.

A must if you're anywhere near Greensboro and enjoy sushi! We traveled from Durham to try Sushi Republic and everything exceeded our expectations. The food and service was outstanding. Both house and flavored hot sake was a hit. Don't forget to try the tempura Oreos before you leave!
