I ate the food so fast I didn't have time for a Pic. I had the crabcakes, no filler! All crab. Delicious ?! Jay was out server. He was courteous attentive and quick! Will definitely visit next time I'm in NC!

We always love lunch at the Village Tavern! The patio is so nice and we always receive great service!Kid-friendliness: We always bring our infant with us in her stroller and it’s never been a problem. They are also very accommodating when it comes to needing hot water (to warm bottles in)!

Food excellent as always. Love sitting at bar. Service was poor, waitress/ barchick more interested in discussing her ADHD diagnosis with other patrons and or putting her eye drops in stood by the cash register - not what everyone needed to see couldn't get her attention for love nor money. Perhaps she is better suited to back of house role.Thankfully the ever so polite gentleman was able to assist.
the hot crab dip appetizer is to DIE FORRR. i got the chicken colorado and it was delicious. the only downside is the wait, you should call ahead for a reservation because there's many people.

Fabulous atmosphere, good service, overall great main courses but the sides were not the best. The mashed potatoes were burned, baked potatoes were reheated and still cold in the middle. Alfredo tasted off. Most of our food also arrived cold. Very disappointing for a family birthday dinner.
