Haven't been here in years. Place looks cleaned up since the last time I was here. Ordered a country ham, egg and cheese sandwich. Sandwich was a lot thinner than expected. It was almost $9.00. had to order another sandwich to be filled. Taste was good. Had 2 small strips of country ham (I thought it was bacon at first. The second sandwich was a BLT. It was good, but appeared small as well. Coffee good. Staff friendly and efficient. Plenty of parking. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. Not sure I'll be back only due to cost/portion size. Of course, EVERYWHERE have increased in prices. Covid 19 sucked
Got there just in time started to fill in .good service and good food. Might become my daddy daughter breakfast place.
Just had the best plate of breakfast I’ve had in a long time! Over medium eggs cooked to perfection. Hash browns tasting like they just shredded them fresh and the best country ham I’ve ever had!! Kudos to the chef!!! We will definitely be back!
This is the second time in 2 months that we have went to Harvey’s. It used to be a wonderful breakfast place. I think they have changed ownership. I don’t know what in the world is going on. They can’t organize at all!! On our first visit, it was a Saturday morning, so we forgave that it took 30 minutes for our food. But today it was a Tuesday morning at 9:30 am. It took 40 minutes for our food. BREAKFAST FOOD! Eggs, bacon, grits. And they can’t use the “not enough help” excuse because there were 5 people working and the inside dining wasn’t even full. The owner never even apologized!! IMO, I think the people dining in should get priority. I think they are focused too much on call in and take out orders and the dine-in patrons get slighted. If they can’t prioritize and work more efficiently, then people are going to stop coming. EVERYONE was complaining about their wait time. I can honestly say that we won’t be going there again. We will go to Waffle House or the other breakfast establishments that don’t take as long. It’s sad because we really did like the food here. Poor customer service will destroy your reputation.
The food was actually pretty dang good but it was very uncomfortable inside because it was about 90 degrees inside. Very small diner like atmosphere but wayyyyyyy to hot inside!! Especially because it was 99 degrees outside.
This is my favorite type of breakfast joint. Lots of friendly locals having a great time enjoying their breakfast while welcoming the visitors. It felt like home. All 3 of breakfasts were fantastic perfect eggs up, pancakes, and Frenchtoast. The sausage link was awesome and looked like they made it or was piped locally. We'll be going there 3 more time while here on vacation. And if you're visiting go to their Villa Verde restaurant absolutely banging. Best meal I've had since we moved out of Jersey 13 years ago.Fantastic
The absolute best sausage link, egg, cheese on toast I have ever had. Delicious sausage link and I ordered the egg over easy on the sandwich. I went on 08/01/2022. The cook on this morning was just amazing with her cooking and I actually called and told them how good it was. Thankyou for such a great breakfast.
Good atmosphere with great servers. We ordered eggs, bacon, french toast. Husband had smoked sausage and hash browns but no french toast. All was pretty decent except the bacon. French toast had no flavor - can't quite put my finger on it but it wasn't as good as I expected to it to be.
Was excited to try Harvey's. Saw it on the news and was looking forward to it. Was very disappointed. Must of been a bad day. They seemed short handed and the sign on the door said not taking to go orders. It took forever for our food. The food was burnt but hot. The cook looked frazzled and kept asking for help. The waitress told us 3 times she was bringing our toast. Watched her go behind the counter and got distracted again. I finally told her we didn't want the toast anymore because we were done eating the burnt food. Yes she took the coffee off out bill to cover the toast but it was a disaster. As of now I am not sure I will go back but husband thinks we should give it another try maybe during the week not on a Saturday. We will see..
In town to attend relatives college graduation. Decided to try this restaurant rather than the Denny's across the street. Excellent choice!!! Food was hot and delicious. My wife and I felt as if we're eating a home cooked meal!!! Service was great. Overall, a very positive experience.
Busy. But the food was great. Was not a fan of the smoked sausage but that is only because I don't like it deep fried. Not sure what type of coffee they have but it was the best I have ever had from a diner. For only having one cook and a packed house food came out pretty fast. Will definitely go back.
Have been here several times while working out in Greenville. I am very happy with the food, The staff is so pleasant. The wait for a table sometimes can be long but it is worth the wait. Glad I found my Breakfast spot when On the road.
Just had the most wonderful breakfast there this morning, Wed. 2/23/22. Deb had bacon, eggs & hash browns, I had the French toast breakfast. Our waitress, Kimberly Speicher was amazing & their Chef cooked our eggs & bacon to perfection. Harvey's was recommended by Ty @ the VA clinic in Greenville & he was right. Everything was excellent including the coffee & Kimberly kept our mugs full. The staff AND customers were all friendly people. I'm full as a fat baby's diaper & looking forward to going back real soon. Thank you all. Bud & Debbie from Wilson. 2nd visit/ Wed. 4/13/22. Another great breakfast today. If you can get Brandi's table, do so. She is just fantastic. Also, the place is full of Veterans. 2 thumbs up for Harvey's & Brandi.
They were busy, but the food was great, service was great, overall good experience. I shall try them again later.
I recommend- the food, the atmosphere, the people- all the people - the staff and guests … my visit there brought a sense of comfort in every way.
