I have been coming here since they opened, and we love it. they have had a few changes since openeing, some good and some bad. the feel of the place is awsome, the service has gone down, but the food is about the same.the service has suffered a bit, since the servers are les and less, and made to do more with less people, so they cant get to everything on their own.the food itself is still very good, but they offer less amount for higher prices. i would get hibachi chicken and rice and they would fill the place high and to the edges, but now its less than half this size, and for 1.5 the cost. i really love the atmosphere here though, its nice.our last visit here a few weeks ago was very bad service, and we ended up having 2 servers since our original server never came back, and someone else stepped in and then the original server is doing other things and still trying to serve us, but was so side tracked that we had to track her down in the end to get the check. other than the service, the place is great, the food is great, i would recommend it for sure.

The food was sooooo good. The portions seem small but once you start eating, you gonna need that to go box. They have these little buttons on the booths that when pressed it alerts the servers we need assistance. I thought that was pretty cool!! Our server was very nice and attentive! Definitely will be back

I've always loved their food via delivery, but to experience it in person is so much better. Customer service was excellent as to be expected.. great place to grab a quick bite.

On Friday night, I treated my wife to an evening at TOKYO Japanese Restaurant, enticed by a promising menu. However, the experience was marred by several disappointments. With only two servers on duty that night, the bustling atmosphere resulted in a 15-minute wait before we could place our order. Our female Japanese server, though friendly, was remarkably loud, making our entire order audible to the entire restaurant, creating an unexpectedly awkward moment. When our food arrived, the letdown continued. My miso soup tasted akin to a generic chicken broth found in supermarkets, and it arrived cold, rendering it undrinkable. I ordered a plate featuring steak, shrimp, and fried rice, but alas, my anticipation was met with cold, unappetizing fare. The rice, while slightly warm, emitted a stale odor reminiscent of three-day-old Chinese rice with an unpleasant oiliness. For a $20 dish, I anticipated freshness and warmth, but unfortunately, this was not the case.Faced with the unappealing meal, I debated addressing the issue with our server. Eventually, I inquired if the food was meant to be served cold. She offered to reheat it, but wary of potential kitchen mishaps, I declined and requested the bill. I prefer not to send food back to the kitchen when trust in the culinary preparation is in question.Regrettably, the overall experience was subpar, and I have no intention of returning to TOKYO Japanese Restaurant. I cannot recommend it to others based on the combination of service hiccups and the disappointing quality of the dishes served.

Ate here with a group and I seemed to be the only one who liked my food well, at least my soba noodles and the veggies (I didn't eat the chicken).

The food was pretty bad.. steak was way over overcooked, white sauce tasted like warm icing, the soup tasted like au jus sauce. Was very disappointed in tonight's dinner. considering the price I paid, I really was expected better food.

We absolutely loved the sushi at Tokyo! We tried the mini mountain, dragon, volcano, and beef tartar rolls. We also enjoyed the gyoza and treasure island appetizers. Definitely going back again! The booths are a bit outdated and need cleaning though.

I always sit at the bar on fridays and let me tell you. It’s always a great time. The staff is so nice and the food tastes amazing. This the the only thing that I look forward to do on Fridays. Side of hibachi chicken is amazing, specially with the white sauce and the sake. EC pirates and the sexy girl dishes is also pretty good , I would highly recommend it. Won’t disappoint
