Came in tonight with my girlfriend and food was delicious. Ordered the crab wontons and some sushi and it was all great. Our sweet server, Molly gave excellent service. Will be back soon!

I went to Wasabi 88 last night with some friends and it was a terrible experience for me and my friends, especially my friend. when she ordered her food there was a piece of blond hair in it. our server kaylee (who was a sweetheart by the way) said she would take it off and get us a new one. in such we assumed she is taking it off the bill. unfortunately that was not the case. we asked for a manager. her name was lindsey. she was very rude and had a very nasty attitude towards us when we tried to address the situation. saying it wasn’t their fault that there was hair in the food. along with doing a terrible job explaining why it had to be that way. then she had the audacity to offer a 10% discount bc we found hair in our food. when we were under the impression it would be taken off the bill. which was not the case at all. overall it was a terrible experience and lyndsey’s attitude did not make it any better at all. shout out to kaylee for providing great service to us.

unsanitary place and very rude service from the manager. I found a piece of hair in my food and was informed that it would be taken off my bill. However, it was not taken off my bill, and the manager gave me a hard time about the charge, I asked to speak to her boss, and she would not give me the information to speak with him, the manager by the name of Lindsey was very rude and unreasonable. I would not recommend this restaurant due to the poor quality of service I got the first time attended this restaurant. The manager told us to our face that it was not their fault that we found hair in our food. You guys are held responsible for your food services.

I was highly disappointed with the service I received. I found hair in my food. A long piece of blonde hair. I was told it was going to be taken off my bill and I was still charged for the food , which is ridiculous!!! I talked to the manager and she was being difficult and giving us a hard time about the charge on my bill. She refused to give us the owners information to speak with Daniel. Lindsey was very unprofessional and was rude. Our server, Kaylee was sweet though. However, I was misinformed and had the idea I was going to get the charge off my bill. I will be reaching out to the health department. It’s unsanitary and the customer service was terrible.

My friend found hair in her food and still had to pay for it. Disgusting. Kaylee, our server, was sweet and understanding. The manger Lindsey was very rude, unprofessional, and unaccountable. She said it was not the fault of her staff that we found a long blonde hair in the food. Unacceptable.

It used to be one of the best places in Greenville. However, it's becoming a bit rundown, especially the bathrooms, which are gross. It feels like the place is falling apart. Despite that, the food is still great. I would still go for the food, but the place isn't as cool as it used to be.

Was my families first time at Wasabi 88 and it didn’t disappoint! We got the tuna and salmon nigiri as an appetizer which tastes so fresh. We then got the buy one get one free two rolls the chefs specialty which were also amazing! We weren’t sure what two rolls too get but our amazing waitress Kaylee helped recommend us to the red velvet roll and rainbow dragon which were both amazing! We are very pleased with the excellent service and quality of food!

Food is always excellent but it appears the mirrors and such are rarely cleaned. The men's restaurant had a broken urinal it was running urine in the floor. We brought it to the attention of the waitstaff and they said it had been broken for a while.

Husband and I had a great meal. The food was spot on. Prompt and courteous service was provided by our server. Always nice to be greeted, especially impressed by manager inquiring if everything was satisfactory. We also enjoy ordering take out often. We especially like their sushi.

I feel like giving this so called restaurant more that one star is very unacceptable! My friends and I decided to have our girls dinner at wasabi 88 on 1/26/24. We were seated by our waiter/bartender Tyler at 6:27 pm who was pleasant initially. We placed our orders at 6:47pm, we were even waiting on one more friend, she placed her order when she arrived at 7pm. So as of 7 pm all appetizers and orders had been placed. Our appetizers came about 7:15pm. While waiting for our food, our waiter (Tyler) was bartending. We kept getting his attention and asking what was taking out order so long. He would come over and tell us that he was checking the status of our food. Mind you other customers were coming in, getting their food before us, and leaving, and while we're still waiting for our food. Our food was finally brought to our table a whole entire hour later! Clearly it doe not take a whole entire hour to make dishes for 4 people. The service was totally unacceptable! The floors and the bathroom was disgusting. I should have checked the sanitization score. This establishment is not the same as it was years ago. You're better off going to Japan Inn that has sushi rolls buy one get one, and better service. They have paper towels holding the table up. (see pic) It also had a foul odor, like old mop water. When we asked Tyler what could be done to correct this issue and this long wait, he said " Nothing" in a very disrespectful tone and manner. If you were supposed to be a bartender then focus on that, but we feel that he dropped the ball on our order while he was bartending. Horrible restaurant, horrible customer service, and horrible setting.
