Great service, and the food is consistently terrific. The menu is imaginative and always well-thought-out. The brisket ... another reviewer said you should call ahead to find out if brisket is on the menu tonight ... and they're right. It really is that good. But honestly, Village Cafe is a perfect example of how eating "local" is the best thing out there. Go. You'll love it.
I work remotely and I’ve tried every coffeeshop within about 15 miles and this is by farrr my favorite place to work. Quiet, cozy, wall outlets at almost every table, and really good coffee and smoothies. Not to mention the staff who you can tell truly value their customers and want them to leave with a smile on their face.

Needed a great cup of coffee to help me on a long drive. Passed the sign and decide to stop in. When I walked in they politely let me know they were closed. I asked where the next good cup of coffee might be down the road. The woman said..."you won't get better coffee than us" and asked me what I would like. Best Coffee I had had in a long time. Very kid of them to make an exception for me. Thought if it as a random act of kindness. Thank you.
