I recently moved to Hickory, NC, and looked online to find a place to shoot pool. I have yet to find a place in Hickory that I like as much as I do Fyreside, and it's only a 10 minute drive.I enjoy playing in their weekly Thursday night pool tournament and have visited a few other times for the live music. Heather is a super bartender, and everyone has been very friendly and welcoming here.

The fryer oil was clean and fresh. The pub chips, fries, and onion rings came out perfectly. Of note are their pub chips, which didn't have one soggy or burnt piece. They have a great seasoning on the chips also. The 1/3 pound burgers are cooked through while being soft and juicy. They didn't have tea the day I visited because none came in on the truck, but this place is definitely worth coming out to try.

Decent place for a beer if you don't want to travel to hickory. Have been going to fyreside before they moved locations. Nothing is spectacular except that it is close. Beers are far too expensive given the median income for the area. 3 beers will put you over $20 unless you're drinking bottles. Then you might get 4 for $20. *Edit* owner replied, I appreciate the feedback. I will be back anyhow. Maybe consider running a draft/bottle special once a week.

I love to come here after work for a drink and some food. I would definitely have to recommend having a curfew of 8PM for small children on Friday and Saturday nights. When it gets crowded, they get under foot and it’s easy to trip over them. Love the food, drinks, and customer service.

Great hometown local hangout. Food is great and well priced (had the tacos for $2 on Tuesday). They also have fun entertainment most days of the week. And the brew was so good! Loved the pineapple sour.

Repeat customer here. I love the atmosphere, the staff, and the owner always pops in and speaks to everyone. The food is always good and the beer is always cold. I love that they are adding more and more music artists to their schedule and building more stages. It’s gonna be lit this summer! Keep up the great work!

We absolutely loved the place, the band was awesome as well as the atmosphere. The food was good and the bartenders were very friendly .We will definitely be going back and I'm taking more friends with me . I would definitely recommend this for a date night, girls night, guys night or just an evening out with friends or anything between.
We love going to this taproom, it’s so welcoming and fun. We go on bingo Thursdays for something different. We also like that we are able to self-pour and pay by the ounce. It allows you to try different drinks to see what you like.

Such a fun place with lots of live music! The taps are self serve and the selection is HUGE. They even have a full bar if beer/wine aren't your drink of choice. Your welcome to bring in your own food or even have it delivered. Highly recommend checking them out!
