I'm with a lot of the other reviews. Over priced much....... got the Gumbo. If you're going to serve someone Half of the container maybe put it in a smaller container so the customer doesn't feel jipped. The Gumbo was very flavorful with the right amount of spice. But 1 small scoop of rice..... rice is very inexpensive and they put it in a huge container to make it seem even smaller. $17 for a lunch. Nope

We like to try local places when traveling and this place was amazing! I'm a firm believer that bread makes the sandwich and their bread was on point. The club was probably the best i ever had. If i ever travel back to hickory this will definitely be on our list to stop at again.

Beautiful corner store with delicious food. I was amazed at how they make their pork belly and it really drew me in. I got the pork belly sandwich and it was delicious. I ordered the club w/ sweet potato fries.Parking: There is free street parking directly across from the front door, around the corner of the building, & down the street. Also, right down the street is a free two level parking garage.Wheelchair accessibility: Property has double front doors and a low angle ramp from the front counter to the sitting area. The lower chairs are wheelchair accessible.

If you are driving from Durham to Asheville or the other way round, this sandwich bar is THE place to stop for a quick bite. We did in March this year, and I’m still thinking about that sandwich in December. Highly recommend.
