If you're in Hickory, NC and wanting a really great sub, please try Sub Station II. They have indoor dining as well as take out. Pretty much any sub you get you will be thoroughly pleased. I have never had a bad sub from here. Their toppings are fresh, and their bread is fresh as well. They also serve salads if you're in the mood for one instead of a sub. But this place is SO much better than that chain sub store. I promise that you will be satisfied with whatever you choose to eat. I give this place a 10/10. If you're in Hickory please stop by here to grab a sub. You won't be disappointed.

The girl at the register at 4 pm on Monday January 15th was extremely rude. They got my order wrong and after I got it fixed, I ate my food and had a violent reaction to it. I believe these people tampered with my food. And I do not recommend that you go there. They are not good people and they will mess with your food if they aren't competent enough to hear you the first time. I'd recommend you do something about this before someone gets seriously ill or worse from their incompetence. I'll never go here again. Not a chance.

This Sub Station II has been one of the absolute best subs around (quite likely THE best) since I was a kid. More than 30 years later, they haven’t changed at all, and that is a very, very good thing. Always fresh bread, fresh veggies, and sliced when you order delicious meats. The only thing missing is the Street Fighter 2 arcade cabinet that used to be in the corner (hadoken!) The #19 super special sub is pure delight on a bun. Just get it their standard “all the way”, as God intended.
