It was our first visit to the angus steakhouse in hickory, nc. It was the best dine in experience we have EVER encountered. It felt like a true small town steakhouse. The staff were super friendly, they came around frequently talking to each table. You can tell they truly enjoy their job and the customers. The food was quick to come out and so fresh. I highly recommend, and we will return without question. The owner and staff really pour their heart into that restaurant!

Tonight was our first visit and we loved it! We decided to celebrate my brother in law’s birthday at a new place and they didn’t disappoint! We all ordered different meals from Ground Steak, chicken tenders, cheese burgers and rib eye steak, everything was delicious! Can’t say enough about this place! Everyone was soo friendly and attentive! Definitely recommend and will be back!

We each had ribeyes w red boiled potato, salad and rolls. They were absolute perfection. Tender, flavorful and melt on your mouth. Beers were some of the coldest around!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! I like to support local so we went here for a steak. I ordered a medium rare steak and it came out well. The ribeye we paid for was super thin. My husband’s wasn’t cooked to order either.

The food has not disappointed, but to be honest I've only ever got the chuck steak and potatoes everytime we go as it's that good! She has done the tenders and burger, both look promising. Really was a fun experience. It reminds me of an old Veterans hangout spot with local music and good food. We dont drink but the place has cheap beer and good food. Seems like a great combination. Staff is friendly, parking fills fast so get your spot early. Small restaurant with A LOT to offer. Beats alot of these bigger restaurants by a long shot.

Love the burgers.. the service is great.I don't like the hot dog cut in half. And the tea taste to strong like it's over brewed but I just have a soda.

We always enjoy eating here, the food never disappoints even on their most busy nights. All of the staff are always so friendly. It's definitely our go to place for a good steak!

The food was great. But, his cheese burger was thin as heck. He wasnt expecting it that thin for a $9.00 burger, with a side of chips. My Chicke is finger was all white meat and very favorable.$7.00 with chips. You got 3 of them. It's really changed since weve came to eat several years ago.Atmosphere was good.Mostly older couples and a few groups of men and ladies dining out.Well go back but, I'll choose something else.I believe the largest steak was like $30.00+I Wonder how that would be?If you buy it, let me know. That's to expensive for me.All and all it was a nice relaxing night out on a friday pouring down rain.

This is no steak house by any means. This establishment is more like a run down used to be bar, turned to more like a fast food diveThe ribeye was super thin, bread was a old dinner roll, salad was just lettuce and croutons and corkscrew even get refills on the tea.
