The Grill

So this is a solid breakfast spot, you get your eggs and bacon, biscuits if you like, omelets. Coffee was good. Service was great and very polite. Seems like a family business and that's nice. We went Tuesday thinking they were open based on postings, but they weren't yet. Maybe a seasonal thing, we called before arriving this morning to double check. Great place to eat in between Atlanta and smoky mountains. Compared to Dillard house, it's no contest . The food here is tasty and fresh. The portions are hefty. Sweet service in a nice country atmosphere at a good price. Corned beef hash is awesome. They have a great country gift shop as well. We go there every year when we pass through, and we also pass Dillard house for the country cupboard!

Two words: Cheese Fries. They're amazing. A heaping order comes with fresh, well-seasoned curly fries, lots of cheese, bacon and a ranch dipping sauce. Assuming your survive this appetizer without a heart attack for the rest your meal, expect diner fare at surprisingly high quality, especially given the fact that this place is in the middle of nowhere. It's worth the trip though. Service is very friendly and quick. Pretty inexpensive too.
