I called to order takeout today, asking for the unagi don lunch bento. The girl took my order did not even care to repeat the order or say anything, even I have to ask when can I pick it up. The bento set was $17 on the menu but I was charge $27 but I wasn't care that much. Turned out they got my order completely wrong!!! I called them back to exchange a small part of it but NO! They said I already took the food and need to place a new order.
I understand mistake happens but not taking action for your mistake is just not right.
I got charge extra for someone mistake and the restaurant refused to fix it. Horrible customer services.

We tried Luna Thai & Sushi Restaurant recently, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The sushi and Tom Kha soup were absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. However, the rest of the main course (Drunken Noodles, Basil Fried Rice, and Green Curry) didn’t quite hit the mark. The flavors felt a bit flat compared to other Thai spots we’ve been to.
Service-wise, it could definitely improve — we had to repeatedly call the server just to get plates and serving spoons, which made the dining experience less enjoyable.
Overall, Luna has potential with its sushi and appetizers, but the service and main dishes could use a little more attention to detail.

I always get the pad Thai & massuman curry... and a side of edamame. Everything is delicious every time.

We were “those people”…came in at 8:40 pm. The service staff was apprehensive to take us so close to closing time (9pm), but they did and we were so glad! Thank you Luna Thai!! We were starved after traveling all day and getting to our destination late. Both the food and the atmosphere was amazing! So fresh and so quickly prepared that we ate and walked out by 9:08pm! The Tom Yum soup with shrimp, fried tofu, the spicy salmon roll, the dynamite roll, the yellow rabbit roll, and Masaaman Curry with beef were all wonderful and we will definitely be visiting here again before we head back home!

Do not get the sweet tea unless you like to drink straight syrup. That should have been our first red flag. Kids got their food very quick. Noodles and chicken were also very sweet but should not have been with what we ordered. One child got sushi and that was better than anything else. Kids finished eating and my husband and I still had not received our food. No one was coming around to wait on us or fill drinks. 30 minutes after kids had finished eating we finally got our food. By then they were done and ready to go. Would not recommend going with a family here.

Outstanding - I got the sautéed Cashew Nut with Crispy Fish Fillet. I wish I could have taken a picture but it was too good! Everything down to the flavor & presentation was incredible.

I had the Beef Pho, Pad Thai, and some sashimi — everything was delicious! The sashimi was super fresh, and the Pad Thai was full of flavor. For dessert, the heart-shaped mango sticky rice was so cute and tasty! Loved this place!

Fresh food and tasty dishes! Sushi and Thai curry are highly recommended. Clean, cozy atmosphere with friendly service at a fair price. A must-try spot in Linville.

My husband recently returned from a trip to Thailand and were excited to hear about a Thai restaurant in our area. We had reservations for my birthday, but as I was sick, my husband surprised me with takeout from Luna. He brought home my favorite dish from Thailand, Tom Kha soup. We had it many times in Thailand and it was always different, but fantastic. We were so disappointed to taste Tom Kha from Luna. It was terrible! It was too sweet, had no lemongrass or galangal, had hardly any veggies and the meat had not been cooked in the coconut milk. It even had parsley in it! Terrible experience! My husband made much better Tom Kha soup than they did! It was a very small amount and very expensive too!
