Want be back the guy kept coming back and forth looking out the door and then stand their and just stare at us and all service was was terrible and all I was getting ready to ask what is ur problem sir I don't recommend them to anyone bad service and all

Too much to type and they get enough service to not care about what I have to say here... just going to say decent and that it use to be a bit better, better waitresses and better food.

Update, waitresses seem to have gotten a bit better. Less child like and more work driven. Food does seem to still be hit or miss at times and I frequent this location, it is not always the same. Will give them that it hits more than it misses tho. Usually I feel it's portion sizes... or ingredients portion sizes.... such as cheese dip on mixed fajita nachos. Or you may even order a dinner and receive a lunch portion it seems. Maybe I am wrong and maybe I just get hooked up sometimes and then when they dont it seems like I am getting shorted.

We chose this restaurant based on a memorable experience we had here 15 years ago and a craving for Mexican food. Unfortunately, the return fell far short of expectations.

Upon arrival, we were immediately put off by a sign on the door warning customers that even if they didn’t like their food, they would still be required to pay for at least half. The sign also admonished guests for “wasting food.” Rather than being welcoming, the message felt confrontational and off-putting—particularly for a restaurant that should be aiming to satisfy its customers, not threaten them.

Still, it was nearly 8 PM, and with most nearby restaurants closing at 9, we decided to stay. I mentioned the sign to the hostess, who responded by saying she personally loves the food and offered a few recommendations. While I appreciated the gesture, such enthusiasm is the bare minimum from staff—it didn’t ease my concerns.

Service was extremely slow, and things didn’t improve with the food. The nachos were stale, and while I’m not typically one to send food back, I decided to order safe, familiar items: empanadas and a watermelon margarita. Unfortunately, the margarita arrived without a rim and lacked any noticeable alcohol flavor. It felt more like a fruit juice than a cocktail.

Midway through our meal, we happened to run into an old friend who had just finished dining. As she was leaving, the hostess asked if she wanted a box for her leftovers. She declined, bluntly saying the food was “nasty”—a sentiment we found ironically validating.

Sadly, this visit was a letdown from start to finish. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant and certainly won’t be returning.

Today we ordered takeout as lunch. We had a fairly large order and as we went to pick up the order the man who waited on us was rude. We called in our order and when we asked if the order was correct (one order was no jalapeños for example) the man stares if it has them in it then he can’t do anything and if they have to make it over it will be a charge. When we got back to work with the food the crunchy taco was on the bottom of the bag and crushed. The salsa was watery and the guacamole had not flavor. We got this food last week as well and it was good. Not sure of what happened but it was terrible today.

it wasn’t good. the service was really bad. that food was bad also. she got a 2$ tip.

So freaking good! We randomly decided to go here. It was phenomenal! A must stop!

Awesome place, awesome food, awesome people. Would highly recommend. Great place to stop and the only reason we came to Lumberton. I got the chorizo tacos and they were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food :)

Had the California burrito, it was fantastic highly recommend this place!

Hard to find parking and the staff weren't very friendly. The mixed drinks aren't really good, but the food is always good. The thing I had a problem with was the fact that they added the tip for me at 17% bc I joined some others that were already there. Mind you my party was only two people while the other party was 7, so I didn't think it was fair to charge me what you wanted for a tip based on the size of someone elses party. I didn't even get a refill, so how was it even earned. For this reason I will not go with a group again unless I sit away from the group bc I don't like people messing with MY money.

Nice building. Great atmosphere.

The food? My god. $75 spent on the blandest insult to Mexican cuisine ive ever seen in 35 years of life.

Go here. Have a few Margaritas, a few shots. And then go home.

I only ordered takeout when I was traveling from this restaurant and the food was excellent. I got the fajitas. And the interaction with the staff was very good. Did not sit in the restaurant, but it looked pleasant, and there was lots of parking

Been coming here since I was a kid, haven’t been here in a while since the food was getting worse everything we came here but me and my family decided to come here since it’s a been while. I got the birria tacos, the best in town, trust me ?

Ordered Chile relleno.When the food arrived there was no Chile just egg inside some beans(by the way they call this Chile Americana because the cheat you out of the pablano Chile that should be stuffed with cheese and or meat)After the third person came to my table I finally got what I ordered with a side of rudeness but it was delicious.Watch out Lumberton NC you are Americans also.?
