This cafe is exactly what you want when you think of country brunch/breakfast.Hands down one of the best biscuits I have ever had in my entire life. It tasted like a cabin if a biscuit can even taste like a cabin. The people who work here too great you like family. It’s just a cozy place with food that tastes home-cooked. Pancakes were perfect. Literally perfect. My little sister is one of those people who only orders pancakes when we go out to eat and she said they were the best pancakes she’s ever had. So I believe her.

The freshness and simplicity of these homemade dishes & pies is amazing! I highly recommend you check them out. They are also looking for an evening cook so they can stay open later for dinner. Owner and staff are warm & friendly without being over the top. I can imagine that working here would be a family-like atmosphere.

Stopped in a whim while passing through town. My wife and I had a phenomenal breakfast. The staff were so kind and welcoming. We really loved the biscuits and locally made jams. Everything was delicious. I’d highly recommend stopping at Main Street Cafe if you’re ever in Marshall.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience here with each visit. We were in town for 4 days and we ate there 3 of them. It would have been 4 days but unfortunately for us, they’re closed on Mondays. We only tried their breakfast but we’re back this coming week for the Lewis/Rice Family Reunion and we’re bringing a group back with us. I’m sure we’ll try their lunch menu this time. The waitresses are sweeter that southern tea and the atmosphere makes us want to relocate. Marshall is definitely a step back in time! Love it & this place! Thanks again,Clyde

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great home town feel. We will return on our next trip back to the area.
Marshall has always needed a restaurant that locals could go and eat good quality food and not break the bank. And now they have it! The Main street cafe is absolutely out of this world good! With that good home cookin, soul filling food served here, i look forward to eating here every chance i get! I have had the privilege to have lunch here for 2 days in a row. Hamburger steak mash potatoes and gravy and a fresh garden salad! You can't get that anywhere else in Madison county....especially for $13.50!!! Great prices out of this world great food and wonderful staff! Highly, Highly recommend! There even open on Sunday for the church community and that is something madison county needed for a very long time and now has!

They call it a cafe but it feels more like a damn good diner. Super friendly staff, quality homemade grub, and great location. We had a nice breakfast with homemade biscuits, a big fluffy pancake, perfect scrambled cheese eggs, sausage, and other good stuff. The food came out quickly and the staff were upbeat and on top of their game. This place is a big step above your classic small town greasy spoon in terms of quality, it’s comfort food yet you still feel “comfortable” when you leave. Plus it was really affordable. We’ll be coming back.
