I've been in Charlotte about three years and this is one of the few restaurants I've been impressed with. Tried Bojangles once, hated it. Cookout, captain D's-- lousy. I used to work there and the health inspector made us throw away a whole pan of shrimp skewers because it was 41 degrees. Before throwing them away I put (stole) about a dozen of those shrimp in my backpack for several hours. Took them home cooked them up and I didn't get salmonella or ecoli....

I love Genghis Grill - I get to choose the meats/ proteins, veggies and sauces/ seasoning, and I can request how well it I want it cooked - this time I only chose beef and seafood, so requested a very light cooking.

Fantastic dinner!! I highly recommend the build your own, you choose a base (rice,noodles) then go to a salad bar style set up to pick the protein, veggies, seasonings, sauces, etc; then they cook it right in front of you! Our food came out great and was worth the price by far! Beth our waitress was awesome! Try the chicken pot stickers ?
