Desy's Grill and Bar

Looking at the menu online I was excited to try several of the unique dishes. All of them inspired by famous athletes like the Kobe Bryant burger. But when I got to the restaurant the menu had almost none of them. Like a total of 10 items. They had none of the dishes I wanted to try like the Muhammad Ali fish and chips and the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao Stacked Nachos. So I settled for wings and a burger. But 5 minutes later the server informed me they are not making burgers. Only fried food. Ok….strange. I go with the chicken strips with fries. When the food comes, we were missing fries and my friend’s mozzarella sticks were so overcooked you could knock on the plate. And the wings were not the worst tasting but they tasted….off. Maybe thawed and then refrozen? Just a guess. I wouldn’t recommend this place honestly, the only reason I’ll give the atmosphere 2 stars is because they did have a great selection of music playing and the pool tables were free. Such great potential for a great night out sadly.

I placed my order over the phone, woman was really rude to me. Didn’t make my food until I got there. Wait 15 minutes and paid 16.00 for a plate of 4 shrimp and a poor excuse of a side order of fries. Will not be spending my money here ever again!!

Came here 2 weeks ago on Thursday night around 7:45pm. One family at the center table in the restaurant and about 2 people at the bar. 1st time there so walked in and didn't know to seat ourselves or what. My friend asked a man at the bar if we seat ourselves, he pointed to the bartender..she started looking around as if there was supposed to be someone to seat us. We ended up just walking out. The only reason I'm writing a review is because after we left I looked up at the sign and it said "where strangers become family" That's ridiculous! They looked at us like aliens and we definitely didn't feel welcome.

Desy is such a wonderful and accommodating owner! So excited that Desy's is now the new home of Triangle Fins Club, the official Miami Dolphins fan club in the Raleigh-Durham area.

It’s easy to make a burger but it’s also easy to screw one up this place blows the burger game out of the park! Tender juicy seasoned to perfection it’s a total masterpiece!!! Menu is simple and well rounded and drinks are reasonably priced.

The owner, Desy, is super welcoming and the food is extremely delicious!! Looking forward to returning here in the future.

This place is weird...food is awful, americanized fried garbage with franks hot sauce on wings. Orders were all wrong, then got yelled at by the server because of it. Guess it should have been an indication when we walked in to an empty establishment with 4 people drinking and playing poker on a busy Saturday elsewhere.

I found the place cozy and with characteristics similar to similar places in Brazil, known as "Boteco do Brazil" which is very good. Friendly and attentive attendants. I ate pastel, half moon size and found it greasy. The Feijoada is enough to miss you and it was served on a snack plate, which I didn't think was great. Little Cabbage and that traditional sauce made with beans was missing. The variety of meats were not many. Cassava with sausage very good. The first time I went, they rounded the value up, which is not customary in America. The account is already closed with the addition of 20% more, which I also do not agree with. But I think it's cool who wants to know and draw their own conclusions. Reasonable prices.

Land of confusion. No name on the building saying the name. Google maps gave up trying to find this place, I struck out and decided to walk and arrive at the bar named a different establishment. I guessing they have not changed their Google info which is pretty important. At any rate decent establishment, not a lot of TV'S to watch the game but drinks were okay.

The food was very good here but it took absolutely forever to get it once they dropped it at the table you did not see a waiter or waitress until the bill got put on the table no refills very slow do not recommend going there for lunch

The food is amazing. I got the Lebron James burger and honestly the best burger I’ve ever had. I got the burger, wings, 2 drinks, 2 shots, and a water for $44! That’s an amazing price!

We were seated and attended to promptly. Food arrived quickly and was perfectly delicious. Cynthia was a great bartender, cook, server and host! Our entire party was very happy with the food and service. Best part is that we will be back again when our out of town guests are back in town. It's now our place. ?
