Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

What a wonderful birthday celebration we girlfriends had a Firebirds in Morrisville this week! I booked our lunch reservations through Open Table and requested that the restaurant make a "little fuss" over our two birthday girls. Not only did our lovely wait person greet us with birthday wishes, but after lunch, she also presented our two girls with a yummy dessert on a "happy birthday" decorated plate AND she handed them each a card signed by all the Firebirds staff! The manager also stopped by to greet us and to make sure all was going well. Thank you, Open Table, for making it easy to book the restaurant and to send special requests. Thank you, Firebirds in Morrisville, for making all of us feel special and valued.

We booked this on the day of my Mom's 90th birthday because our reservation at another restaurant got terribly messed up by that restaurant. Firebirds came thru in the most wonderful way and made it the perfect celebration for Mom's birthday!! Our server Jasmine was excellent and very attentive. The food was very delicious. We will definitely be back to Firebirds.

Our server was amazing and the food was good, but it took an hour-and-a-half to receive our meals. We had two toddlers with us, who both did well, but we didn't finish until well after their bedtime. I know it was a busy evening there, but it shouldn't take that long. The wait time was pretty bad.

We had a 3:00 reservation but had to wait 1 hour 40 minutes before we received cold food. Our waiter did the best he could checking on us and getting drink refills but they seemed to be understaffed. Unfortunately this was my first and probably last visit to this restaurant

We love eating at Firebirds. Great menu with lots to choose from. Our waiter last night was Brad-exceptional.

Usually good food and dining experience although this visit the food was “off” just a little. My potatoes were quite salty and my prime rib needed a little more cooking time. In the past it has been perfect. Husband's steak was perfect. Our server was quite personable and a delight at our table.

The food, we both had Filet Mignon which was well cooked and was tender and the taste was very good. Caesar salad was very good. Service was ok, but there was a big party and maybe the hostess and waiter were new, so there were some menu mixups which was not such a problem. We sat on the bar side because the dining side was noisy. We recommend this place if you want a good meal, maybe a drink to start and you want to get in and out.

We were a party of 6,on Easter evening. It was not very busy. We were seated in the back section of the restaurant, which only had a few other occupied tables and nobody else was seated back there. All of that was fine. The biggest issue was that the servers kept using the electric sweeper to clean under the table as any guests left. It was very noisy and irritating - a major interruption to being able to talk and I was there with 5 relatives visiting from out of state. This floor cleaning happened continually during our dinner. It made us feel as though we were being rushed out. My brother finally asked one of the servers who was cleaning to carpet to please not do that right now as it was very loud and we couldn't talk. She did stop, but gave him a dirty look. Our server was adequate but couldn't remember who had which drink. And then my brother was served the wrong beer and she tried to tell him it was the correct one. She finally went back to the bar and apparently figured out that he was right. Food was excellent as always. I've been here many times and have always been favorably impressed with everything. But after this experience I will be finding a new “go to” restaurant for a nice dinner. For the price of the meals we should have top-notch service and should also not be cleaned up around during the entire meal. Very disappointed!

I don't write too many reviews, but the food exceeded my expectations completely. The group I was with had steak, salmon and chicken and we ate every morsel of food. Even the salads were great.

Our server was wonderful in letting us know when we sat down that the food was taking a really long time. We were not in a hurry as it was a holiday and knew they would probably be busy so we hung out and had some family time. When the food did arrive, it was cold. The server was very apologetic, but not a single manager came over to check on our table or to even offer any assistance/apologies that the wait was taking so long we were there for a total of 2 1/2 hours.

The food was really good. The wait was long. I understand it was Easter Sunday. We had reservations at 2 and didn't get our food until almost 4. Our waiter had a somewhat difficult time communicating. The manager offered a complimentary second dessert to take home after one of my party explained that the waiter left out that the fresh vegetables included onions and peppers.

Rough day to review as it was Easter Sunday. We waited forever for our food, and we had to ask for an update, as noone came to tell us it was 4 tickets backed up. We watched a much larger party who arrived 20 min after us get theirs first, and we only had 4. I felt a comp, a discount or a free dessert would have eased the wait. Even more bread.. as we waited 65 min from order to table. Unsure what the issue was, but possible short cookstaff or overbooking. Either way, they needed to do better Customer Service wise. Food was good, and server was nice.

Our service today for Easter brunch was attentive and delicious. Our server checked on the table appropriately throughout the meal and the timing of the drinks, appetizers, entree, and dessert was just right. We had an array of items such as eggs, salmon, pork, burgers, and steak. Everyone from kids to seniors enjoyed their well prepared meals. Also, this location in Morrisville was convenient with a small playground and open lawn area right outside the restaurant. We would highly recommend Firebirds especially for groups and look forward to dining with them again soon.

Great experience at check-in. We were seated pretty quickly. Waitress Valerie was nice and the food was great as always. Firebirds is a great spot to have a nice quality dinner. Second time at this location and think I like it better than the location near me. Keep up the quality service.
