Pretty solid pizza, great attention to detail. We got a standard pepperoni to try the place out, dough tasted great, perfect moisture level, the sprinkle of fresh basil was a fantastic surprise. Best pizza I've had in years.
Angelo’s pizza is by far the best I’ve had in some time! No doubt the best pizza in the Rocky Mount area! Angelo’s is a traditional pizza shop, this means a couple of things…- this isn’t a dine in restaurant. You can dine it but it is small and set up more for take out orders or grab a slice and go.- it is cash only!These are not knocks against the shop, it is what it is!Now, for the pizza! Really great pizza and service here. Check FB for their weekly special. Very worth the pleasant drive through the country to this hidden spot. It is small and tidy, but the quality is way beyond what you get at normal pizza joints. Just had the J*** pizza special and it was fantastic! We will be back!
