We ordered take out from here and it was an awesome decision. We got the enchiladas banderas and enchiladas suizas for entrees and sopapillas for dessert. Everything was amazing. The prices were good and the portions were plentiful.

Passing thru and looking for solace for lunch. Very pleased with my chicken fajitas. They even make their own tortillas. And the price was very reasonable for the meal. Also very pleasant service.

We were passing through and at a close by hotel for the evening, I called to ask if my dog could be with us outside which was okay with them. The food was very good! Got the trio of dips with guacamole, quezon and pico - great appetizer! Hubby got carne asada which he cleared and I had chicken mole; awesome flavors - very authentic. They make it fresh daily and it's wonderful. Good margaritas, corn tortillas and delightful service.

Wonderful staff and the food and music is amazing!! A must go to spot. Try the street corn appetizer.

We were staying in the area and needed a place for dinner with outdoor seating so we could bring our two dogs with us. We happened on El Mariachi. We were greeted with enthusiasm and lead to an outside table. My husband I ordered the chicken Mole. We were told the Mole was made by the owners mother. Let me tell you that was the best Mole I have had. The depth of flavor was unbelievable. The service was excellent as were the cocktails. If we lived in Rocky Mount this would be our go to for Mexican food.

Honestly, this was probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever ate at. They were so nice and it didn’t even take long for our food to come out. I got the AC Texano, and it was so good! I got mine w/o peppers and tomatoes because I don’t like them. As an appetizer we had spinach dip, and it was different than the spinach dip I’m used to but it was really good! For desert we had churros and when I say they were so delicious I mean it! They were cooked perfectly and the cinnamon, sugar, and caramel & chocolate syrup on them really made them even better.

Food is always great. I was slightly disappointed this time though. There was a sign that stated prices had increased because of the pandemic. I truly understood that and was ok with the price increase, however I did notice that some of the portions were slightly smaller. I will still continue to frequent this restaurant, because the food and service is always awesome. Just want them to know that price increases are understandable, but you shouldn't sacrifice quality or quantity as well. Could lose great customers that way.

We tried El Mariachi for the first time tonight as a family. Walking in is such a beautiful experience in itself with their decor. We were greeted by the staff right away and seated immediately. Our waitress was great with our kids and explaining the dishes. The appetizers were amazing we loved the fresh guacamole, Queso, and salsa. Our main dishes came out quickly. The flavor is amazing you can taste each note of flavor. Highly recommend eating here, it’s a wonderful experience! On a side note, my husband had the enchiladas pablano which is served with a mole sauce. This sauce takes 7+ hours to make and is made by the owners mother herself. Absolutely amazing flavor!!!

First impressions are everything. Veronica, our waitress was friendly, polite, fast, efficient, and accurate.A nicely made chile relleno, fresh made corn tortillas (oh so good) , chicken seasoned nicely with chorizo, rice and beans, and not-overly sweet tea to finish. All in all, a pleasant evening at a nice restaurant. And hey, we were seated in a train car!

Went in because we had a coupon, but it was nothing that special. Did get cheese dip with our food by using the coupon. Food was average. Probably will not go back. We did get to sit in the actual train car part of the restaurant and that was different and interesting.
