We went in for dinner after traveling for most of the day and this place was attached to our hotel. No one acknowledged us, we sat there for 15-20 minutes waiting for anyone to take our drink order… no one ever came. We ended up leaving empty handed. We just wanted some food. But I guess that was too much to ask for.

Bathroom was “being cleaned” for the entire 3.5 hours that we were there. Food took 2.5 hours to arrive. “The kitchen is backed up” is what we were told for 2 hours…until they came out & said they lost our ticket…It was dirty (standing water by the kitchen), didn’t have bathrooms, service is slow, and they lie to their customers…but they gave us a 10% discount….absolutely pathetic. If I could rate negative stars I would!

Their system of calling you when your table is ready is terrible. They yell your name from afar but where you are sitting is so far from where they are standing. Then everyone seemed to be complaining about something.

We waited a few minutes to be seated, wasn’t really the problem. We were seated by ashantee. She seemed generally nice but unfortunately everytime she came to the table I was able to get a contact high from the weed. It smelled as if every time she went to the kitchen, they played a game of puff puff pass. I just believe that lighting up while your working is a bit unprofessional.

We loved our very friendly, efficient waitress (she fills in as cook too!). I wish the breakfast buffet and menu selections offered omelette s and other things. But, one woman can only do so much! I told her she deserves a raise!

This is a typical steak house restaurant. The service was great. Unfortunately, our steaks came out cold, not warm or room temperature. My grandsons chicken strips and fries were hot. I'm not sure where the failure was here.Kid-friendliness: A good chicken strip portion for a toddler.

We had a waitress named Ivy, and she was amazing! I highly recommend asking for her when you come to dine here. Also, the atmosphere and people were so sweet.

I was in Rocky Mount for a volleyball tournament and decided to dine here with some other families. When we arrived, we were told that it would be a 20 min wait for our party of 8. That’s understandable. They were relatively busy. About 30 mins later we were seated and another 10 minutes went by before we had ordered our drinks. Another 15 before our table got our drinks and received the rolls. We had 2 waitresses serve us in the beginning but we didn’t see them much after that. I believe that one was in training and that’s the only reason I am giving another star. I ordered the filet mingon medium rare because the price was very reasonable. Another person at my table also got the filet. We were rarely checked on and refills/drinks took 5-10 minutes to be brought u to I the table. It took about 30minutes for our three side salads and another 20/30 minutes for the entrees. I ordered the house salad with Jalapeño ranch. The ranch was so thin it wouldn’t even stick to the salad. I am assuming it was watered down. When I received my steak, I was thoroughly disappointed. It did not even look remotely like a filet and was insanely overcooked. I brought this to the attention of the waitress because it looked so bad. She agreed that it was not cooked to medium rare and she sent either a manager or cook to our table. I asked if it was even a filet because it surely didn’t look like it and the person stated that it definitely was and they were just cut. (I am not sure what freshly cutting the meat had to do with any of this) I worked at a steakhouse for over 2 years (in food service industry for 6 yrs) and know what a filet looks like and how it should taste. This cut of meat looked and tasted like a $.99/lb chuck eye that you would buy at the piggly wiggly. It was stringy, tough, and so thin. At first I thought that they misheard me and gave me a medium well filet that they had to butterfly. Upon further inspection, there was absolutely no indication that the meat was butterflied. The other person who ordered the filet was also disappointed and thought that it was not a filet, but just went with it since the steak was their requested temperature. I also decided to get fries which I normally do not eat. The portion was pretty small compared to what I have seen at similar restaurants. The only compensation for my terrible “filet” was an additional order of cold loaded fries. I had already eaten the fries that were with my steak so there was no need for this. I decided to try some of the bacon from the fries and it was so salty I almost couldn’t eat it. I took it with me out of pity but threw it away as soon as I got to the hotel. I had to hand my plate to the waitress when I was finished and I also had to hand her my card to pay. She did not make the effort to pick them up. I thought that it was common knowledge in the food service industry that the waitstaff know to take the plates for the patron when they are clearly finished. It also took seemingly forever to receive our bills and our cards back. The other person in our party that also ordered the filet was charged for a sirloin, confirming our suspicions that we were given the wrong cut of meat. It took over 2.5 hours for our party of 8 to eat and leave. We left as soon as we received our cards back. I do not think that I will return to this establishment when we return for tournaments in the future. I also want to mention that there was not a true vegetarian entree option. The vegetarian in our party had to order a salad and request the chicken on the side. They were still charged for the chicken that would not be eaten.Vegetarian options: Salad with the meat on the side
