The worst soft shell crab sandwich ever!!! $14.99 for a sandwich & fries. Been there numerous times, but this was the last!!!

Decided to eat here upon a local recommendation. Service was good. We had 6 adults and after all said and done everyone concluded the quality and taste of food was just average. Will not return.

Great food! Awesome staff! ❤️

Well to begin with the owner is the rudest man I’ve ran into in a long time. The buffalo shrimp is fried shrimp with Texas Pete poured on top. We were told the owner was only there on weekends. The fish and chips were just ok. The best part was our waitress Ashley and the cocktail sauce.

Coconut shrimp, Cuban sandwich and chicken tacos were all tasty but the Mac and Gouda bites were delicious!!!

First time trying this place and won’t be back. I expected so much more after reading the glowing reviews and then we were quite disappointed. They were full and busy, but I wouldn’t actually consider that a compliment to the place as I usually would. There is only about 6 tables for the whole restaurant and two of them being outside. Ofcourse, not counting the small bar area.. A family member called first to inquire how busy they were and explained whoever answered the phone was quite rude and uninviting with curt one word answers.. Hi, are y’all really busy right now.. She replied, yes.. Do you have a wait for a table?. She replied, yes.. Okay, how long is the wait?. She replied, 15 minutes.. As each inquiry was made she seemed more disgusted and couldn’t be bothered. She could have replied with the first question. “We are currently full and have a 15 minute wait”. Anyway, we should have just went somewhere else, but we had not tried this place yet on one of our previous Southport visits and passed it off as someone having a bad day answered the phone. . . The place is so small and we often caught the staff and assuming older manager lady talking negatively about the guests. A lot of talk about wanting the night to be over.... The food was just average, so between the the lady that answered the phone who couldn’t be bothered to encourage a family to come in for a great experience and the unprofessional atmosphere, I would say pass. If you are a serious beer drinker you may enjoy your experience more, but as a friendly family restaurant, not impressed.

This is the best restaurant in Southport. Small, eclectic gastropub, with Asian/Vietnamese influence. One of my favorite restaurants ANYWHERE! Don't miss the Chocolate covered Key Lime Pie on a stick.

This little place may be small but they're menu flavors and personality are HUGE!! The staff is really friendly and they know their menu, it says a lot about a restaurant when the employees are excited to eat the food they serve. I ordered the pork belly tacos. My husband had the 3 piece fish and chips, my sister had the chicken lettuce wraps and my niece had the classic burger. I also ordered a side of the twice baked potato salad. Everything was freshly made, flavorful and delicious. The portions are very nice and the prices are very reasonable. They also have a good selection of beers that would suit anyone's taste. I would definitely recommend trying Loco Jo's either for dine in or take out. Next time we're in Southport, we will definitely be stopping in again.

Yeah this is THE place to eat in this town! Came from Merritt Island and was not disappointed! We had to wait but it was worth every second. We had the chicken lettuce wraps and the pork belly tacos. We also ordered the fish and chips and my daughter who is 12 had the classic burger. The staff was awesome and attentive. Super helpful and they work as a team and made sure we were always attended to for anything we needed. I personally had the chicken lettuce wraps and they bring you a huge serving of ground chicken and chestnuts in a bowl with a big wedge of ice burg lettuce. On the side you get cucumbers and cilantro and a vinegar fish sauce with lime wedges. It was fresh and delicious. My daughters burger was also a good size. It comes with everything but she's a kid and asked for ketchup minus lettuce tomatoes onions and anything else. Please try this place you won't regret it!

Baja Fish Tacos are a must try!! This restaurant is one of my Southport favorites! From the Duck Wings, the Saigon Bowl or the awesome drink selection...you will not be disappointed! Truly a staple of the ILM Dining experience.

What a find! You'll miss it if you're not watching and you'll be so happy when you find it. Great food and the friendliest staff

Good food and beer. Nice staff behind the bar

We come back to Loco Jo’s year after year because it never disappoints. The staff is especially pleasant and knowledgeable about the eclectic menu. Our party of six has never had a dish we were disappointed in over these last three years. Highly recommend!

This is actually my favorite restaurant even though I don't like beer! It makes me wish I did. :) I had the Lemongrass Curry. It was delicious. Others at the table had the captain's catch (fried fish), chicken tenders, and the pulled pork BBQ. We all left happy and full. As I said, I don't like beer but they have plenty of options. The service is always good even though it's usually busy. Our wait was short - 15 minutes. Food arrived quickly and sodas were kept refilled. No complaints!

Amazing fish and chips sandwich. Cool, laid back atmosphere. Easy to miss with navigation though due to its location being on the end of the strip and not easily visible.

Quaint restaurant in Southport area. My Caesar salad was very good; fresh blackened sea trout tacos were delicious. Sat outside & enjoyed the cool breeze. Two round tables outside; each seats 4. Plenty of tables + bar seating inside.

Went out with my dad and his friend for lunch. It is an intelligently planned out serving size - meaning, they were wise knowing to provide a superior food product, it's not about the numbers you can serve. There's indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar sitting, all of which had ample room. They have a quality and varied menu serving a good amount of finger foods such as burgers wraps, etc and a good amount of salads and fork foods; mainly focused around fish.
