A nice place to get a beer but an absolute rip off for food.. the pub chips basket was a joke for 10. Eat anywhere else and come here for a drink... upcharge for a few chips is 5 dollars! On a 15 dollar burger! Good beer on tap, but when I get $35 of food for two people and we are still hungry ... crazy...

Just bad all around. Went in for lunch, was told long wait and no wait list (first come first serve). We waited, a big party left,we went in to sit and the lady (wish I got her name cause she was the rudest waitress I have ever meet) said the table was reserved and we couldnt sit. We left and got food elsewhere. Dinner roles around and every place had a 1+ hour wait time, so we tried again. I called ahead spoke to a sweet guy and he said to head over as a table came available. We got there and same rude lady as early gave us an attitude for sitting at the table then said we wouldn't get food for over an hour. We ordered, got our food timely, and left before it was the closing time. We were a party of 10. The table had 9 chairs, we asked for an extra chair and was told no by her and we had to split up our party. 20 mins later a party of 5 walks in and she pulled a chair up for the 5th person. She was nice to the regulars but extremely rude to travelers. The cherry on top of the cake, one of my family members was up all night with food poisoning. Never again

Firstly, the menu out side has the wrong prices to lure you in. The waitress was very friendly and did a good job. We had a large group so we knew about the tip being applied. The burger was good but the fries came out cold and soggy (didn't bother to complain) only because we complain of the salty fried pickles. The waitress offered to take them off but we ask to re-cook and they were the same, Uneatable so we had to pay for them. Everything was overpriced a tea was 4.99. Upcharge for fries and the food was served on plastic plates. You could tell these were re-used plates too. Not sure how they get away with that because you know they can not go through a dishwasher at the high temps required. However, the waffle fries, blooming onion and burger were good. And the waitress was very sweet. This place could be so much better. I am aware they have the best burger in town but this place could be better all around with a little care.

This is a great place to go if you enjoy horrible service and uncooked overpriced food! I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Went there for lunch with a group of 6 of us. They didn’t have a table big enough so we sat at two separate tables, no big deal. Got our food, half of my fries were not fully cooked. Waitress never came back (very few people in there). Then we get our bill, they charged us 20 percent auto tip for “large group” when we didn’t even sit together, and not even on the same check. Got the manager and asked why they were charging me when we weren’t even sitting together or ordering together, and she couldn’t give me an answer. I then told her my fries were not fully cooked, and instead of making an effort to fix it, she said “oh well” and walked off. I don’t normally write reviews for bad experiences at restaurants but this place was awful.
Burgers are great here. A friend told me the burgers are good here and he was right. It's a small bar and restaurant with a little age on it. The place reminds me of a small college town bar. And they have sweet potato waffle fries.

This is a local bar. It's everything you want in a local bar. People know each other, food is great bar food and service is fun. No need to make it more than it is...it's awesome as is. Love it. Missed our Midwest bars and this hit the spot.
