Cute diner in the West Jefferson area. We typically go to Hillbilly diner but they were closed Presidents’ Day weekend. Coffee House diner was a great alternative, the hash brown were the shredded kind and perfectly done, slightly crispy. Delicious biscuits bacon and eggs. Will definitely go back when we are in the area.

I will admit…my expectations were low. HOWEVER - I was VERY impressed with my visit. I ordered a juicy cheeseburger, crinkle fries and ranch and it was all delicious! Our waitress was very sweet and efficient. She noticed a man left his jacket and ran it out to him. Lots of the staff knew their customers by name and their orders. Everyone working seemed so genuinely nice and actually happy to be working on this snowy day. Tables and floors were clean. I wish I’d taken a pic of my burger-I will next time! Because I will be back.

I want to be as nice and honest as I can. I'm sure the locals love this place. We do not live here we have been visiting this area for quite some time now. This was our first time trying this Diner. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. It was just her and the cook working there at the time. You could tell they needed some help. Coffee was cold, pancakes are really delicious. I just wish the pancakes were fluffier. I didn't get my bacon I ordered and actually that turned out to be ok. I stole a piece from my daughter. Bacon was overcooked (if you like it that way then you'll love it) it was just way too crispy for my liking. I love that they have little portable heaters, one in the bathroom. Which is very nice because after washing your hands in the cold water you can warm them up, the other heater was next to where I was sitting. It had a chair next to it so you could come inside and warm up a bit before sitting down. The food wasn't terribly bad. My daughter ordered a burger she said the burger was good but the bun kept falling all apart. The biscuits and gravy could have been much better had the biscuits not been rock hard. The people are very nice and friendly It's just that this place could use some help. The bathroom stinks really bad, I'm not really sure why but they had to close the restaurant early while we were there finishing up eating. I think they had to clean up and get a chance to get more prepared. They ran out of silverware, you could see the dishes all piled up in the sink. Overall nothing really bad but it does just need some help. Sorry so long.

We had a BLAST at this fun diner! Our waters we spectacular while our burgers were top notch! The pancakes rocked my face off after I mixed in a little bacon and sunny side egg! Loved the diversity of patrons and definitely felt comfortable sitting amongst the locals! Highly recommend! Open 24/7!!!

We took a group of 20 senior citizens from our church to this restaurant. The food was delicious and everyone was happy with the quality. This is a small restaurant and we had to wait a little bit but it was worth it. Great prices too.
Hungover after a wedding party we stumbled into this diner. At first glance it may not seem like a 5 star experience but once you are in it is not too love the place. The staff is beyond amazing (shout-out to our girl, Tori rocking the mushroom earrings). We were so happy to sit at the large food bar and watch the food cooked in front of us. We're from out of town but if we ever find ourselves here again we will be hitting them up again.

Yummy hot breakfast cooked exactly how I ordered it. The place was super busy on a Sunday cause everywhere else that serves breakfast was closed. Thank you for being open! Our server was fast and even though she had a lot of tables, she still was able to check on us and refill our coffee and water.The building is pretty small and crowded which makes a louder noise level so it wasn’t comfortable enough to relax and take our time eating.I hoped for stevia sweetener and almond milk so that I could get coffee, but I didn’t see it on the menu.I ordered a side of cheese grits and it’s $2 but there was only two spoonfuls in the dish so perhaps it was a fluke, otherwise I wouldn’t order those again. They tasted good though??

I was there around 1:30 pm on a Wednesday. Food was good, however I had an issue with service. I asked for a manager while I was there and my server told me she had left for the day. She said call back tomorrow and ask for Amanda. I did that and as soon as I said I was told to call you by your employees, she hung up the phone. She didn't even take time to here what I had to say. I'll go to waffle house from now on because I least I expect this level of mediocrity there.
