Enjoyed the wine dinner at Craft Bistro tonight. Delicious food and great wine pairings! The staff, chef, owners, servers and wine consultant were all wonderful. Had a great night relaxing and enjoying good food and wine with Impeccable service. Definitely will be back!
First time at Craft Bistro and can't wait to go back. The service was great and the food was fantastic. Great to go to a place and not be rushed. Will definitely be back.
From out of town, wanted a nice dining experience and we were NOT disappointed. While I'm not a big meat eater their lamb pops made me a believer. The broccoli was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were made of magic. Food is on the pricy side but for our weekend getaway we felt it was well worth it. Plus the staff was pretty awesome.
We have eaten here twice. Both meals were incredible. Met the owner/chef on the second trip up there. He was full but fit us in. The meal was phenomenal. Pricey, but well worth it.
Wow.Had no clue there was this kind of cuisine in the Jefferson area.Best I have ever enjoyed.(And I am a world traveler)"I'll be back!"
We came here on a golf weekend and were impressed with the place. All of the serving staff was nice and the food was great. Get the duck if you have the chance - awesome meal..
Oh my god if there was a higher rating than five stars, I would so give this lovely little gem whatever that would be. The food was outstanding, and I mean every single thing we had. The service was top-notch, quite frankly the best I’ve had in years. If you are looking for some outstanding dining fair that is completely reasonably priced, this is your spot! We had the PEI mussels and steak tartare for apps, and they were amazing!! Followed with the Chilean sea bass( sublime) the duck ( the glaze was magnificent!) and the special- the fillet with truffle sauce ( cooked to perfection- melted in my mouth). Dessert was the bread pudding ( to die for!), the key lime pie ( seriously…) and the creme brulee ( i am out of adjectives. ) this is a must try if you are within a 70 mile drive, seriously!
Craft Bistro...another nice find! Lovely little 3 year or trendy restaurant located in downtown West Jefferson NC. Grilled Filet with Hazelnut veal reduction. We also had the Seared Chilean Seabass served of black bean purée. Service was friendly and prompt.
My wife and ate here tonight after traveling from Georgia. Was grated by the hostess who was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and efficient. The owner came by and was gracious and friendly, and very helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, cooked and prepared perfectly. A great dinner experience.
We had an absolutely wonderful New Years Eve with the lovely people of Craft Bistro! Chef Jared, his wife, and the entire crew were welcoming and on top of everything. Then there was the food! This dinner was on par with or better than far “fancier” places that lack the charm and friendliness of Craft Bistro. We could not get enough of each course and the wine pairings were excellent. Each course stands out but the Duck Confit soup and the Veal Osso Bucco were my favorites! We will be back many times, I’m sure!
As usual, Craft Bistro was amazing! Great food and service :) Thank you :)
This is by far the best restaurant in West Jefferson these days. Not inexpensive, but as good as you'll find in a big city.
We had 6 people for a birthday dinner. Our waiter was Johnny on the spot. When our dinner came ..everybody's was cooked and fixed to perfection. It was a great evening there.
Perfect place for dinner! The seared tuna was perfect over the seaweed salad. Both steaks were delicious & perfectly prepared!Always enjoy our meals here & John is thrilled with his bourbon choices!!
