Well, we were going to give it a try. Walked in and there was only one other person in the dining area. We took our seat and waited but no one came to our table. We were saying to ourselves, be patient, but then we thought, there’s no one else in here but us, why hasn’t someone come to take our drink order? Waited a few seconds and we made the decision to leave. But on our way out, the lady that was there asked us if we were leaving, and we said yes, then she told us to go on to Parkers, they don’t give a d____ ? We thought, no wonder the place is empty ?♂️

I'm from TX...and I found my people! Lol I can only speak for the brisket - and they had the fatty, juicy, pull apart brisket I like!! Oh my! In TX we rarely use sauce because you don't need it if the meat is right. There were a couple of pieces that were more lean, so I used their sauce on it. Ohmygoodness! That sauce is bomb! Mean, perfect! I'm glad I tried it. Gave sis a bite and she went the next day! Lol. Folks, if you love brisket, Wilson, NC has your back. I double-dare you to bring happiness to your mouth...go get it! ???

I had chopped chicken BBQ with green beans and cabbage. Hubby had brisket sandwich with fries. Everything was delicious. Definitely will go back.

Stopped in for lunch while traveling back home to Virginia. It was strange vibe as the place was pretty much empty except for a couple of customers. There was nothing on the walls, you couldn't even smell food. I asked the young man working if they just opened yesterday, but he said they've been open for about 3 months. Place needs something. But the service was good. He took time to answer my questions about some menu items.We both ordered the brisket plate with 2 sides. We were told they didn't have greens, we both ordered cabbage and I got fries and my partner got mac and cheese.The brisket was dry, but the sauce that we asked for on the side provided a nice kick. The fries just frozen crinkle fries, that could have used a bit more time in the fryer. Though the were hot on the outside, the inside was barely warm. Mac and cheese and cabbage were ok, nothing special.

I had the rib and brisket combo with cabbage and yams as my sides. Simply Delicious! The both the brisket and ribs were tender. The rib sauce (BBQ sauce) is tangy with a slight peppery kick. The BBQ sauce definitely stands out from the rest. I'm glad they decided to be stationed in Wilson, NC. They also have a food truck. The atmosphere is still giving new vibes. I like the clean look

Great hidden gem. The food was delicious, with fork tender brisket. And the service was friendly. The atmosphere is a little bit sparse but it's smart, they left room to grow. We'll definitely be back.

I’ve never had a bad plate. Every time I come in here, their food is always hot and flavorful and the staff are so polite. I went in to get a plate today and the gentleman at the counter had my order rung up before I even got to the counter. Being to remember a face and their order before they even get a chance to think about it? That’s quality service right there. Definitely will be going back. Y’all are awesome!!!
