Could not recommend more! My husband and I had our private rehearsal dinner here. Food and cocktails were amazing! Event space is stunning and perfect for an evening of cocktails to seated dinner. Staff was extremely helpful, accommodating and thoughtful throughout planning process and event. Overall, Canteen went above and beyond to help us plan a personalized and beautiful event!

Canteen Still Life has the ideal atmosphere to unwind and enjoy a cocktail, glass of wine, cup of coffee, or bite to eat. I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding rehearsal dinner at Canteen, and the venue couldn't have been better! The staff was kind, helpful, and attentive to everyones needs. If you haven't been to Canteen Still Life, you really need to check it out!

If you haven't been here, missing out. 5 star service by Reid and 5 star working lunch. I had an iced matcha latte and an amazing deli sandwich for cheap! Makes for a good way to mix it up.

I love the power balls!!! They are calling my name... and I keep coming back for more. They're only $2.25 for two little power balls to stay your day!!! Yum! I like the ambiance here. I always get a lot done and I love to work here. I can tell others like working here as well. It's a great atmosphere and a wonderful place to grab some coffee or an adult beverage and just chill. Highly recommend recommend. They're food comes form The Porch which is delicious. Five stars! Thanks for staying open during the pandemic.

Second time here but now it's more of a wine bar / coffee shop, with snack and light food fare. Before Canteen 411 was more of a restaurant. Now you came and use it as a work space even. They also have some wine to go, and heat and go meals from their sister restaurant The Porch. Still a nice place with nice greenery everywhere, friendly staff, nice bar area. We came as they were having a champagne pop up. Great little cocktail menu or just straight up bubbles! You could also order a charcuterie board ahead of time. They also had a few on hand there but it's first come first served. Opting just for a drink, I got the winter spritz , champagne, orange bitters, orange juice, orange twist and rosemary. In a stemless flute, I loved this cocktail. Loved the rosemary flavor. Light and refreshing. Perfect pre dinner drink. My friend got the Canteen French, gin, Campari, lemon, simple syrup, champagne and grapefruit twist. Such a pretty drink, beautiful color, and again was light and easy drink. Great citrus combo. I will definitely be back here if I'm downtown for a drink or if they do another Champagne pop up as they had so many good drinks I wanted to try more. Plus may get a charcuterie board as they looked really good !

Love the relaxing atmosphere of Canteen! My friend and I went for the "bubble bar" as we love our bubble drinks. I had the Canteen French and my friend had the Winter Spritz. Loved the glass that each one served in. Bar staff very friendly and attentive to our needs. Drink presentation spot on, garnished beautifully. We both wanted to stay and try every drink. Will definitely return for more!!
This place is awesome! Canteen Still Life is a unique new concept that is perfect for downtown Winston-Salem. They serve coffee, tea, baked goods, grab and go lunch items, and even cocktails. They are a multi-purpose space offering a little bit for everyone. Personally, I enjoy coming here to get some work done - they have good wifi and a comfortable environment that is inspiring and calming, full of live plants. Also - their staff is always so kind and helpful. I completely recommend checking this place out and supporting this local business!

Canteen, now "Canteen, Still Life" has gone casual but still has delicious cuisine and take-out meals from The Porch. Simply walk up, make your food and our beverage choices and either eat in or take it to go. The staff is friendly and the vibe still cool. I love this place! My mom and I have come here twice to work ever since they rebranded as a coworking space, and it has such a relaxing atmosphere. Their lattes are great, their food is tasty, and their staff is so nice! Their wifi is also strong, which makes it a great place to work if you're looking for a break from working in your house.
