This is the second time we've had food from here. The first time was carry-out, so we thought the food just didn't travel well. This time we sat at the bar and were there right when they opened. The garlic knots were cold and drenched in oil. The appetizer sampler we got was also cold and bland. The fried ravioli was tiny, certainly not what you'd expect for an appetizer. As we were sitting there, someone in the back yelled "WHAT THE [email protected]%# IS THAT?!?" It was very jarring and completely off-putting. The service was okay, but it was very odd to be left at the bar alone like that.We won't be back. I know other people love it, but we have been less than impressed both times. It's just not worth it to us.
Hubs and I have literally been going here since the first week they opened. Is it classy and upscale? Nope. But their pizza is excellent and we’ve enjoyed every meal we’ve ever had there. The food is very good, the staff is nice and tries hard. They’re just a very decent little Mom and Pop Italian place with very decent good. We always enjoy every meal. Give them a chance and stop being so negative and picky! Stupid reviews can really hurt a business these days.
My family of 7 made reservations ahead of time through Google Assistant. Our table was ready when we arrived 5 minutes early. Our waiter was kind and courteous throughout our visit. However, we were told there were no garlic knots available from the kitchen yet to whet our appetites before our meal, but some should be ready soon. We waited for one hour and ten minutes before our meals began to arrive...still no garlic knots, though a table of 2 and a table of 9 received some. My daughter walked by the kitchen to the restroom and heard obscenities being shouted by the kitchen staff who were apparently having a rough night. We did receive a complimentary order of garlic knots to-go, but spent 2 full hours waiting and eating. The food was good, but the service wasn't (no reflection on the wait staff).
Staff was awful. Was seated in the back with a bunch of other families, really loud. Asked to move to a quiet spot. Dirty restaurant overall. Ordered a $7 house salad and had mold on my tomatoes. Told the waiter and all he said was “oh” and awkwardly took my plate back. Didn’t apologize, didn’t make a new plate, or offer to take it off my bill. They charged us for a salad I didn’t eat. So disappointed that no one approached us to apologize or take it off our bill. I’m one of those people that would pay my bill regardless, but you’re dang sure I didn’t leave a tip. And I leave reviews to make sure people don’t go there and eat what I just got served.
We got the Familgia Sampler which turned out really really good! The fried ravioli was super good! I got the Seafood Fra Diavolo with everything added to it. It was delicious and definitely enough to take home and have for another meal. My wife got the Fried Chiclen Alfredo and she said it was really good, it was very good. The service here was impeccable, huge shout out to Reiner for the service!! He wasn't to much of a waiter and wasn't less of a waiter. He was purrfect! Definitely will recommend this restaurant to others! Thank you for having us!
My fiancé and I went for his first time this evening. First of all, the hostess pleasantly greeted us when we came in and showed us where we could seat ourselves. Elizabeth was our waitress and she was amazing tonight! She checked on us frequently. She was so polite, well-spoken and just genuinely nice. We had the French onion soup, salad and bruschetta to start and it was very good. Surprised by the basil pesto but it worked! I had the Seafood Fra Diavolo and it was outstanding! Our food was hot when it came out and still warm by the time I asked for a to-go box. We forced ourselves to order dessert and I’m glad we did because the carrot cake and banana pudding was delicious! 10/10! Thanks for a great experience tonight!
Yummy! This was our first time dining in for dinner. My husband and I each order an entree with side salad. Few glasses of wine and beers. Finished with the Tiramisu and cannolis. Exceptional server. I really enjoyed the chicken piccata, my husband loved the pasta parmigiana with chicken. Cute little date night location. ?
My husband and I love this place! The service is awesome, the food is delicious and we are never disappointed. I would highly recommend you check this place out! I even got my new shirt!
So hubs and I first walked in here 4 years ago to find they had recently opened. We were planning on moving to Greenville from PA. We actually got pizza, sat at the bar and talked to the lovely owner. Pizza was great btw! We did move, but to Walstonburg, and recently, permanently to Ayden, so we finally made it back for dinner last week and have to say if you have a negative review, something is wrong on your end. The food is excellent and the staff is so nice. Can't wait to have dinner again soon!
Great Italian food ! Waiter did a great job keeping drinks filled and prompt food delivery We were a party of 6, all happy campers, a rare feat with my crew ! Fresh salads Amazing pasta dishes, my calzone was cooked perfectly Loved the meatballs ! Recommend the cannoli, they can be hit or miss .. these were delicious
This was my family’s first time here and we honestly felt like we were treated as family. Our waiter was super nice and attentive. The owner came by and checked on us, got us refills, and even offered our children ice cream after they finished dinner. It was awesome seeing how active and personal the owner treats the customers. Thank you for the great hospitality!
The was not good. I ordered shimp and grits. The grits was hard, and only five for $15.00. The 3 points are for the wait staff. Waitress was very nice ?
Annastasia is the best server! She is attentive and is always willing to go above and beyond for her customers! The food is always delicious - I highly recommend the Butternut Ravioli with a glass of Prosecco! Way to go, Annastasia!
Nice local place. They need to serve bread with the meals as my wife and I both thought it was need with our pasta. My shrimp were over cooked but both dishes had good flavor
Finally made it to Famiglia tonight. Oh so good! Hubby had shrimp scampi, I had the squash ravioli w Alfredo sauce and these are the delicious garlic knots served with our dinner. We also each had a side salad; him Caesar and me side garden with their homemade blue cheese. We also had the stuffed mushrooms but had scarfed them down before I thought to take a picture. They were really busy and very short handed, but our experience was exceptional!
