I used to be a big fan of this place but today has changed that. I was so excited to try their Acai because this is the closest location I can get some but unfortunately it was served rock hard frozen and their servers refused to blend it, give me a different item, or give me a refund. The cashier didn’t even know who or if there was a manager on duty. Horrible experience and I will not be returning to this location. I have called corporate, I hope they stop serving completely frozen items and get better customer service skills.

Good food and smoothies, but no A/C. As the weather gets warmer it becomes more and more unbearable in the building. Dangerous for employees and customers! Very selfish and won’t be eating here until it is fixed.

I don't usually write reviews for chain restaurants because I think we all usually know what to expect but I have come to really appreciate this little place, and I think it may often be overlooked.It's tucked away on Firetower just off of Memorial Drive, where all of the other fast food options are located.Tropical Smoothie Cafe is the only fast option I visit with any regularity.The smoothies are perfect for a quick light breakfast, and you can augment them with a wrap, flatbread sandwich, or salad.I find that if I pick up a Smoothie for breakfast and a salad at the same time, I'm covered for the entire work day. Perfect for those days that I don't have time to make lunch or slip out for a quick bite. Plus, the food is fresh and on the healthier side.And they are open early! I can pick everything up and still be at my desk by 7:30 a.m.

The tropical smoothie at the Winterville location was very rude... no one acknowledged me or my guest they literally allowed us to stand there no asking for our orders, and the girl behind the counter gave us rude stares and called on of her coworker to the corner and talked about us with her the food wasn't even good once we got it. Will not be returning here.

I'm not exactly sure how to describe my experience here.I've never been to a Tropical smoothie so I have nothing to base my experience on. Fresh fruit is literally a banana or an apple.....maybe I've been a little spoiled by the Lords chicken.It was moderately clean. The previous person sitting at our table spilled a smoothie so it was sticky. Bathroom was moderately clean.I ordered the chicken salad and got a wrap. They did fix it. The wrapper even said salad. It was ok. Processed chicken but what did I expect for $9.The oddest things were the employee wearing bedroom slippers......that can't be safe. Also what's up with the Christmas tree and wreath is just chilling in June.Average food. Average service. 2.5 rounded up for this review.
Pulled up to drive thru and she told me rudely that they won’t taking anymore drive thru orders. I asked can I come inside and she says if you want to! Meanwhile I go to Dairy Queen to place my order that took all of three minutes. Then pull back around to see someone at the window getting an order and someone placing an order.

Took my wife and daughter to tropical Smoothie to get some quick lunch, waited over 30 min in line until my turn came up to order, and not one employee ever acknowledged me standing there, one young girl kept playing on her phone while working drive thru, she also kept staring on my wife with a nasty look like we are not welcome there, and the overall service is extremely slow every time we visit, will not be returning

I went through the drive through and the customer service was awful. I didn't recieve the smoothie that I ordered. I also ordered a wrap and they did not include half the ingredients that the menu states it will come with.
