Amy is one of the owners of the winery and is an excellent host. She immediately made us feel comfortable and shared her experience of winemaking. Felt like family. We will be back!!

Niki is the absolute best! Thank you for being so friendly and welcoming to my favorite 1st ammendment auditor at Kult News. I'll be sure to stop by the next time I drive through North Carolina.

Harvest host stop was great. Beautiful grounds. You can do a wine tasting. They make all of their wines. I am not a wine fan but found one--blueberry wine. Would stay here again.

First time here! Stopped by on a rainy Sunday! This place is beautiful! The tasting room is in an old farmhouse. The land (minus the grapevines) and farmhouse reminds me of my grandparents place in WI! The cat is adorable! I really enjoyed the wines! I also really enjoyed the unoaked chardonnay and early twilight! Looking forward to coming back!

Fun afternoon with friends. We were met with a smiling, friendly staff very knowledgeable. Good wines, especially great dessert wine, which is not usually my favorite. I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely return. Great rooms to gather with friends.

Came here from out of state on a cold rainy day with my husband, my brother, and his dog Salsa. Were welcomed as family and given pretzels for us and water for the pup. Wonderful hospitality and even better wines! We ended up taking a bottle and glass to go. 10/10 Salsa dog recommends.

We got there a little late but was a great experience. Has a real homie vibe. Staff was super friendly and wine was good.

This is a great local vineyard to visit. It is in a small farmhouse. The owners and staff are very warm and welcoming. They have very tasty red’s and the best blueberry wine in the region.

It's very much an old farmhouse atmosphere. If you're looking for upscale, skip this one. It was very cozy for us, reminescent of grandma's house. Easy, relaxed atmosphere on

Looking for a relaxing activity outside of Winston-Salem, we headed to Hanover Park. Could not be more joyful that we spent time in this beautiful home, tasting lovely wine, and chatting with the wonderful people there. Went home with two of their bottles as we loved their wines!

Looks like the secret is already out about how amazing Hanover Park is, so I guess I can share my experience without letting the cat out of the bag. My wife and I ended up buying a case here. All the wines were so delicious, you can tell they take pride in their craft. It will be a perpetual must stop each time we are passing through the area. We loved speaking with the owner and seeing the history that resides in this vineyard. Our service was excellent, thank you Nikki. If you are a wine enthusiast you will love this place.

I'm not expert enough to provide and educated comment on the wine (I liked it all!). However, I can confidentally comment on a totally non-pretentious and relaxed vibe, an awesome historical house, friendly staff, and interesting local art. And they actually grow the grapes they use in their wine. All in all I love it.

We really enjoyed our visit to Hanover Park! It is one of the oldest vineyards in North Carolina. The grape vines are beautiful to behold as you try their wines. You can do a flight of their red wines with a glass for $25. You can pick 4 of any of their wines for $15. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We chatted with one of the owners, Amy. She is a lovely lady. We enjoyed all of their red wines. Our favorite by far was the Cabernet Franc. It has a spicy note which I really liked. The building is an old house which I loved. The main entrance is around back. The parking lot is gravel. Watch your step as you go in the door. There is a resident kitty that likes to visit for an ear scratch and rub if you are amenable. If you are in the area you must stop in!

We wanted to visit a winery today and decided on Hanover Park. I am a big fan of Rhone wines and especially Grenache, Syrah, and Mouvedre (GSM) blends from that area. I had seen on the wineries website that they had the M from those blends as a single varietal wine. So we wanted to check it out. The tasting room is inside an old farmhouse, with tastings done in the large back room of the house. We were greeted in the tasting room and given the options of wine flights. For dry wines, they had 2 whites, 1 rose, and 5 reds. They originally had six reds but have sold out of Chambourcin. They also had about a half-dozen sweeter wines. We picked 2 whites, five reds, and one sweet dessert wine. The two whites were both Chardonnay, the difference being unoaked vs. oaked. The unoaked was crisp, minerally, and with a good finish. The oaked white was a bit too oaky for our palettes. The red wines started from the lighter-bodied Mouvedre and ended with their 1897 blend. These reds exhibited the tastes and textures we expect from wines in the Yadkin Valley. There is a definite terroir to the region. The big surprise was the Vin D’Orange fortified dessert wine. I normally do not like sweet wines, but this was delightful. We ended up getting some of the unoaked Chardonnay and a few bottles of the dessert wines. Overall this was a good experience. We have some relatives in Winston that enjoy sweet wines and we will have to arrange a time to meet them here.
