Placed an order to go via the website on a Thursday night.
Didnt get pie that we ordered or croutons for our salad. called back after got home and they quickly replaced it once i returned and were very apologetic and polite. I then got home and realized my burnt end sandwich didnt have a bun that i ordered and it was just a container with meat that didnt really remind me of what i expected as "burnt ends" but still tasted good.

Food all tasted great, and they looked half way busy.(looked like a fun time in the outdoor dining area) But these few things being over looked left us feeling a little like our order was rushed. maybe just an off day. will try again and see how it is next time we are in town. Again, food was rather good. No real complaints about the food as how it tasted. Maybe just slow down and double check the ticket matches whats in the bag for bags going out the door.

either way, the ribs were great, mashed potatoes were really good too. Just a couple avoidable hiccups. Good luck in the future. Ill be back.

We stopped in for lunch (family of four) and were very underwhelmed. Two ordered pulled pork sandwich, one brisket sandwich, and one chilled turkey. The Mac and Cheese was good, but all of the meat was dry and bland. The potato salad tasted like it has sweet relish in it, which isn’t my preference, but it wasn’t terrible. The turkey was supposed to come with raspberry chipotle, but I wasn’t told they were out until I was served and asked where it was. If I had known, I would have ordered something else.

Awesome pick for lunch! Variety of offerings on menu kept everyone happy, and patio seating offered such a great summer, Saturday vibe! Highly recommend!

Boiled pork, tasteless, ordered ribs and burnt ends and it was really bad. Should be called boiled tasteless meat. Corn bread was great.

My family discovered this place several years ago, and whenever we make it back up here, this restaurant is always on our list of places to stop.

The interior isn’t very large. There are essentially two small rooms with some tables in each area. They also have a small gift shop.

Usually, we eat outside because they probably have about as much seating there as inside. But it was a rainy day, so we went inside.

I like to get the burnt ends. They are tender and just a tad fatty, which just adds to the flavor. And this time, they still had them available. It seems like they often run out, in which case I order the brisket. Unfortunately for my son, this time they were out of ribs, and it wasn’t even 5:00. He ordered the burnt ends, too.

The BBQ sauce is some of our favorite, and the meals include BBQ chips which you can dip in the sauce. What a treat!

We also like the coleslaw, which is super creamy. A couple people ordered the mashed potatoes this time and said they tasted really good. However, most everyone seems to order the cornbread, either as the side that comes with meal or as an extra side. It’s the best deal to order as an extra side because it’s the cheapest side, but if you want honey, they charge an extra $1 for a small cup of it, which does seem ridiculous.

Besides the regular BBQ sauce, they also have a spicy version. I like it, too, but I prefer the regular variety. If you do enjoy their sauce, you can grab some bottles on your way out in the gift shop along with a bag of those potato chips.

Parking can be a pain since it’s primarily limited to street parking, although there are some lots a couple blocks away toward the lake. All parking is free.

I highly recommend this place. And if you have a larger party, you may want to call for a reservation. If you go late, be prepared that some items may be sold out for the day, but that just means you have a reason to come back.

When we seated ourselves, a waitress walked by and without even greeting us, she stated that we’d have to wait an hour for our food. There was no explanation about why it would be an hour. She offered us menus and we waited at least 20 minutes and nobody came to take our order or at least offer water. Three waitresses kept walking past and none of them ever spoke or offered even a smile. We were tired of being completely ignored. so we got up and left. We’ve never experienced such poor customer service. We won’t be back.

This was a very special dining experience! After spending several days at the cabin we decided ro have some BBQ at Piggy BBQ. We decided to eat outside as the weather was beautiful. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious - BBQ ribs, baked beans, smoked chicken sandwich and smoked chicken on a salad. They were out of burnt ends and brisket so we’ll b re back soon to have some of that. Overall a very satisfying experience!!

Food ok but pricey for what you get. I had beef brisket (just meat, no bun), comes with generic chips, and I ordered a side of cowboy caviar for $1. For $17.50 my dinner was delivered in a cardboard tray. Meat was tasteless- no seasoning, but bbq sauce was good. $7 margarita good. Meat was a bit fatty. My husband ordered ribs which came with chips and Cole slaw. He ordered a piece of cornbread for $1.50. Ribs were meaty but no seasoning, no smoke so just bland. His dinner was $23.
Waitress attentive and friendly. Total dinner $55. Not a lot of bang for the buck.
No need to go back.

Both my wife and I ordered the smoked chicken. It was outstanding! They were out of potatoes, so I can't comment on that. The portion size was a bit small considering the pice tag, but I walked away satisfied and not over stuffed.
