DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE IT IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE I WOULDNT FEEL COMFORTABLE SPENDING HALF OF WHAT I DID THE OTHER NIGHT Food tasted like catering from a corporate event, ribeye steak felt wet/soggy not juicy at all even with their seasoning tasted dull bland.Pasta alfredo bland gross felt like it was boiled yesterday in canned tomato water then re heated in a microwaveFood did not come out hot just barely warm. Menu is highly over priced for the quality of food served

Ordered a bloody mary and they said they had no bloody mary mix. Went a second time and Ordered a bloody mary and was the plainest bloody mary I've ever had. Just mix and vodka. Guess I expected a little more from Misty's. Maybe a dill pickle or stalk of celery or both. Just never seen one that plain.

Visiting my son who is a student at UNL. We found Misty's after exploring the Haymarket/Downtown area. We both ordered the sirloin. One of the best steaks I have had in a long time. Service was great and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the meal.

Came in after going to the Lied Center. This place could be an amazing experience. We got seated promptly but it took the server 15 minutes to ask if we wanted drinks and another 15 to even get them and no they weren't busy. At 430 pm they had maybe 5 tables. I'd like to blame the servers but I can't it falls onto management and training. Had the Ribeye, Shrimp Pasta, Prime Rib, Lobster Mac and Cheese ,BBQ bacon Burger and the Chicken Bruschetta mediocre at best. I do know restaurants are having a hard time getting enough people to fill a shift but then tell your customers most of us will understand.

The food is average at best. The Prime Rib is tough the Steaks are very low Grade (especially for being in Cattle country). The sides are like a 1980’s buffet! All I can say about the service is the food was better than the service…. Tourist Trap!

If you want a great steak in a great atmosphere this is not your place. If you want a decent steak at a dive bar for the price of a quality steakhouse, this is your place.I am from out of town so this is an objective review of this restaurant. I am sure to the locals it is a great place but not at all what I expected for a $50 Steakhouse. We went in a Tuesday night with a party of 8 and the restaurant was only about 1/3 full.My prime rib was a good flavor and texture and cooked as I requested, medium rare, but others in our group didn't get it cooked right. One had a filet overcooked and the other had prime rib bites undercooked. The mashed potatoes that came with my steak tasted like cafeteria quality.... Not inedible but definitely flavors like it has been sitting in a metal pan for hours and they sprinkled paprika on top (which was weird).Multiple people in the party sent the lobster bisque soup back because it was essentially creamy tomato soup with seafood flavor. No lobster or any other seafood to be found in the soup.I got 2 different draft beers and both had a dirty taste to them. They definitely need to clean their draft lines and their beer distributor should stop bringing new beer until they do! I have never tasted this before and I have drank many beers at many places. The service was slow, slow, slow. Slow to take drink orders, slow to bring drinks, and even slower for the food to come out. I think it was at least 40 minutes from ordering to food being brought to the table. My guess is the food had been sitting for a while because it wasn't very warm. The atmosphere is the most confusing part of this restaurant. I'm OK with a dive bar with great food but Misty's prices their appetizers in the $15-25 price range and steaks in the $40-60 range, which gives the impression of a quality Steakhouse. But when you walk in, the decor and quality of the furnishings is somewhere between diner and old sports bar. Formica tables with metal chairs, dirty old worn carpet, wood panel an paint peeling and the bathrooms had the feel of a gas station. If I am paying $50 for prime rib I expect my steak to be on a plate made from ceramic of some sort. The meal for everyone, came out on a stainless steel saucer which sits inside a cheap plastic outer shell reminiscent of hospital service dishes. I was actually stunned by the presentation and sat trying to figure out what I was looking looking at.My guess is this place was really nice 20+ years ago but has not been maintained and riding in the coat tails of yester year.

BEWARE!! One of the worst steakhouse meals I have ever had! We were seated at a dirty table. We ordered French onion soup which was not hot- cheese barely melted and was mostly croutons with a little broth. I ordered a “special” 20oz ribeye that was the worst quality steak I have ever had in a restaurant!! I could barely cut it because it was so tough and sinewy!! The mashed potatoes were inedible due to too much pepper!! It was seriously horrible!! We go to top steakhouses all over the country and I honestly feel sick after eating here!

Walked in and were greeted promptly. Sat at a booth, place wasn’t to busy. Waited for 10 min for someone to take a drink and food order. No one ever came by so we decided to get up and walk out. 6 servers a bar tender and hosts standing up at the bar while we walked by them. Not one of them acknowledged us.
We have eaten at Misty's for 50 years. Tonight we ordered burgers and when we went to use our $100.00 gift card for approximately a $35.00 bill we were informed by Joselyn the waitress that they had changed processors and if we wanted to use the card that they would keep the whole $100.00 card as there wasn't a way to give money back for credit. Obviously we didn't pay with the gift card. I feel that is very poor management to leave it up to there wait staff to tell there customers about this and not send a manager to the table. I will eventually take extra people along to use a $100 at one time and that will be the final time that I eat at Misty's.

Food was really bad. Overcooked and not tasty. The only thing that saved the place was the bartenders they were trying their best. The hostess were overrun and trying to help but this place needs leadership to get back to what it was.

Visited this restaurant with a group from work. The waitress greeted us quickly and was quick with the drinks. For appetizers we had the calamari and the bruschetta. Both were excellent. I ordered the 14oz ribeye. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare but was so gristly and fatty that the steak knife provided barely cut through it. I also got a baked potato and it was tasty. If you’re going to call yourself a steakhouse then the steaks need to be on point. I would avoid the steak if you come here.

Very nice restaurant, however, very poor service and management! Waited for over an hour for soup, no good excuse. When I canceled my ordering was suddenly available. Will not return.
