Food tasted great. Had the patty melt and the poutine fries with cheese curds and beef gravy. Oh my. Good stuff. Forgot to take pictures. Cool little joint. You'll have to pay for parking out front. No biggie 1-2$ depending on how long you plan to be. Food was a little pricy but hey it was GOOD.

Block 16 is always great. Any time we are going to be downtown in Omaha, we go.The food and the people are great. We have been a few times since 2021 but I have never reviewed it. It’s hard to find a place that is consistently great, but Block 16 is one of those places.It’s a favorite of a few fellow Lincoln people that know about it.Wife and kid love it too. The fries, the burgers, the chicken, poutine burrito…. All great.

Used to go here for lunch when I worked downtown but can't deal with the pretentiousness anymore. Time after time they refused to serve a sandwich without cheese because "they have a set amount of ingredients". Guess having one extra slice of cheese is too much to handle

I heard that the food here was really good, so we thought we would give it a try. Not knowing what to really expect..We were not disappointed. When you walk in, you are immediately hit with the realization that this place is different. It's busy, very busy, it's loud, it's crowded, but everyone seems to be very happy to be here. You will walk up to the counter and place your order. From countless types of burgers to fries galore. Pulled pork to fried chicken. With names like "Croque Garcon Burger" and Dragon Fries, and well written descriptions of what each dish is. Take your time and decide. It was so busy the night we went, that I had the opportunity to stand in line and watch how well the staff worked out the logistics of getting the food out to customers. It's an extremely well oiled machine! Every person had their job and did it well. Once you order your food and you're given your order number, you go find yourself a seat at any of the 5 communal open seating tables. If that isn't to your liking, there are a few smaller tables for two scattered around the small interior of the restaurant. All very inviting, even when sitting at a large table for 8 strangers. There's a huge mural on the wall that you can't miss. It seems to be a very popular topic of conversation. It's kind of like a "seek and find puzzle" without meaning to be. Have fun with it. Overall, I don't think you can go wrong here. The burgers are seasoned well, the fries come in various varieties and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Great price for some great food. Give it a try!

The food was delicious. It's a small little shop with a line out the door like you wouldn't expect( because it is so good) I got the dragon wrap and it was absolutely delicious. I plan to bring my family there when they come and visit. My only complaint is the seating area is a bit tight and it can be hard to find seating at times and there isn't much waiting room while waiting for your food.

Ate there for the 1st on 3/19/2024. The Poutine Burrito was amazing. The service was very good and very friendly. Restrooms very clean. I would definitely go back.

We walked in at just the right time, as everyone else filed in behind us and goodness they just kept coming. We got the bangers and mash which we loved and the dragon wrap which I wasn’t a fan of. I thought the dragon wrap was very sweet and would not get it again. But everything else we loved. It is mostly family style tables which my kids thought was funny that other families sat with us.

I've been wanting to try this place since I moved here 7 months ago. Finally got around to it and was not disappointed. I had the vegetarian poutine burrito and split some funki fungi fries - both were delicious carb heaven. The truffle flavor intensity of the fries was 10/10. Definition of comfort food and I'll definitely be back. Fair warning that the wait is long and seating can be hard to get. Recommend getting there around 5 to try and beat the dinner rush
