Would have loved to try them given the reviews, but when we arrived at 8:09 on a night they were supposed to be open to 9, they said they were already closed.

Fairly versatile menu . Appetizers Soups salads sandwiches burgers pizza enchiladas. Our server was very accommodating, taking time to explain things and listening to our needs. The atmosphere was much nicer than I expected as far as decor, but I didn't feel out of place. I love the little lamps and small fresh flowers on the table. Dad had the walleye special with Cole slaw and sautéed red potatoes. He ate it all and loved it. I had the chicken spinach and artichoke pizza. Cut party style and very thin crust but tasty. Our guests had the pork tenderloin with friends and the steak enchilada. She did not care for the fries but the tenderloin was good. The enchilada was favorable but larger than expected. All in all we will be back and am anxious to try other items on the menu. Oh and the margaritas were fantastic! Table of four was $200 with tip but we had 5 margaritas at $11 each a $30 pizza and spinach artichoke appetizer

Fun little restaurant! We've eaten there three times; the first time was with a small group celebrating a birthday, the second time was a date night, and this last time was for the chicken dinner, which was delicious (hello comfort food)! We had great service each time. Our only wish is that they stayed open a bit later especially on a Friday or Saturday night. We had to end our dinner conversation early because they were closing the dining room around us at 9:00 p.m. I will say our last two wait staff were amazingly friendly! I would give the restaurant 4.5 stars if I could. We look forward to coming to dinner in the Summertime so we can sit outdoors.Parking: Parking can get a little tight as their parking lot shares space with a gas station. However, we have been able to find parking each time we have been there.

Called and made reservations on a Saturday. We put our reserve on the Saturday Fried Chicken special at that time and so glad we did! It was absolutely delicious, everything was! The sides, the service, coconut lime margarita and dessert. The place is super cute inside and makes you feel like you want to be a dinner regular. Can’t wait to come back!

Their fried chicken is awesome! It is served family style but one serving actually can serve two, unless you are especially hungry or normally have a big appetite.

Finicky Franks is one of those hidden gems you hear about but rarely find. Their food is wonderful with traditional flavors and perfect seasoning. Our favorite is the fried chicken on Saturday nights that comes with several sides. Call ahead and reserve your table and tell them you’ll be ordering chicken ahead of time. Their waitresses are classy and knowledgeable. Finicky’s vibe is a little 1940’s prohibition with the black and white flooring, black trim and a large centrally located bar with a formally dressed bar tender. There is always great music playing and the drinks are quite strong. This is a great date night spot or a place to go with your friends for a classy dinner. We’ve had sandwiches here that were the best ones we’ve ever had.

Food was great! however, the girl busser with brown roots or brown/blonde-ish hair was very rude to me and my family during our experience.

Don't let the gas station next to Finicky Franks throw you off. An eccentric restaurant tucked away in northern Omaha that has a fun diner feel when you step inside. Be sure to look at and read the local memorabilia and quotes that are displayed throughout the restaurant. The food, equally as enjoyable. Pictured are the apps that our party quickly ingested upon being served which included a perfectly deep fried plate of truffle and Romano fries as well as baked Brie puff pastry. I suggest for bigger groups, making a reservation to make sure everyone can be seated. My party was timely waited on and served. We were often checked in on throughout our meal but not pestered. Not pictured was my margherita pizza. The crust was a tad bit too crispy for my preference and the pizza was littered in cherry tomatoes but the cheese ratio was just right. I suggest adding Finicky Franks to your list of restaurants to frequent in Omaha.

Looking to make a reservation. I've made a dozen calls, no answer, no return on messages left. One voicemail message is outdated and referred to November which was a month ago. The other one said they do not accept recorded reservations. Tried to email them per Facebook page. Got a failure to deliver reply. Sent a Facebook message. And it hasn't been read. Wrote a Facebook post. No an acknowledgment. Someone told me the food was good. But every thing I fans says reservations are recommended. Not sure how to get one when no one is responsible enough to answer or reply.
