GW Fins
“GW Fins is without a doubt, one of the best seafood restaurants I've been too in a long time. This place has been recommend by nearly every restaurant guide in New Orleans and it really doesn't disappoint. The lobster bisque was delicious. The halibut was is their signature dish and really goes well with the risotto. I also got the creme brulee, which both people beside me got as well after seeing me get out. As for cocktails, you can't go wrong with the Cajun old fashioned and the French 75. It's highly recommend that you set reservations, as it was one of the busiest restaurants in New Orleans.”

“Bob Boudreau and I were in NOLA for 9 nights. Three of the nights we had reservations at other places with family. Our 1st night we looked up and found Jewel of the South. We loved it so much. we asked our nephew, his medical school advisor and his wife to join us. All three lived in NOLA and had never been here. All 5 of us would definitely go back in a heart beat. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. Great staff. GREAT ALL AROUND! FIVE STARS for Jewel of the South.”

“This was our first trip to New Orleans. I asked a friend from Louisiana where we should go to eat. Top of the list was Parkway Bakery & Tavern and she was not wrong! First walking in and the server asked if we’ve ever been before and when we said no she got so excited and said she was excited for us and in for a real treat! The place is historic and the food amazing. The gumbo was stellar and the po boy sandwiches were amazing. Such a great experience. Food was delicious. Would definitely make a return visit if we ever come back to New Orleans!”

“It’s been a while since we visited Plume, but we have always had SUCH a great experience! The food is delicious - my favs include the fried chicken and the naan. If you can’t eat in, the food travels/delivers very well to your house and is still very yummy!”

“One of the best dining experiences my wife and I ever had. It is a true culinary delight that awakens your taste buds. Braiden was an excellent server who takes pride in his work and it shows! Thank you for a wonderful evening.”
“Bar R’evolution is everything I want in a New Orleans destination: Good food; superior libations; professional staff; and engaging conversation with patrons. Last night’s meal of bone marrow, butter-poached lobster and smoked duck exceeded expectations. The 20-year-old Tawny Port arrived in a huge(!) bottle - my bar mates went wild. Thanks for a great meal.”

“Completely exceptional dining experience. I am so glad we found this little gem. The menu is set daily, based on what is fresh. And it is made to perfection. Our server, Rene, was extremely kind, and engaging. I truly didn’t expect such a good experience, considering the atmosphere - candidly it’s very ~meh~. But I considered that part of its charm. Also, the prices are totally fair and reasonable. Don’t sleep on this place. It’s so so so good.”

“Came here after finding so many good reviews about it and it even came across my Tik Tok page. It absolutely lives up to the hype. The atmosphere is very nostalgic, the crew is very helpful and polite, and the food was amazing. My family tried the collard greens sandwich, the fried bologna sandwich and the mama tried burger. The start of the show was the fried bologna sandwich but the collard green sandwich was a very close second. The burger was tasty as well. If you are in the area, I recommend giving it a try!”

“Mannn I'm not even from here. I saw this place and looked it up. I was a fan but had to see if it was as good as it sounded and looked. Twas better. Excellent quality top notch product and service. The amount of care and thought into everything plus the execution.. there just are no words.. if I could give more stars I would. If yall live in this area support this place and make sure they stay being able to provide this to the community. You'll thank me later. Taylor thanks for the great service and conversation. You guys are awesome. Keep on keeping on!”
“Had the most divine time and the staff was amazing. I got to know the owner's children who are amazing young men. They were very welcoming and informative about the history of the restaurant. Had the red snapper with rice and the veggie tray with injera bread. Gonna use my leftover injera for twist-on crepes in the morning.”
“We love spending a warm afternoon at Bacchanal any time we are in town. They have a fantastic selection of wines, bubbly, cheeses, and other snacks. The employees are very helpful in making selections and the backyard has such a wonderful vibe!”
“We had a sublime experience here, it beautiful night, we sat outside smelling jasmine, great service, great food, great wine and cocktail recommendations, I highly recommend this place!”
“Ok. Visited from south Florida on a couples weekend getaway. and after looking through reviews I came across Cane and Table.Alright, brunch on Saturday was quite amazing! First off, with the service – it was seriously on point. You could tell the staff were genuinely enjoying service to us, which made the whole vibe very welcoming. Our server was MC, and chatting with her and the Host about the menu and small talk felt like shooting the breeze with friends – no stiff vibes, just good ol' friendly chatter. Now, onto the drinks – they were awesome! Very well balanced drinks and such a variety of options which continued on setting the stage for a memorable brunch. And the food? Well, let's just say, even though the brunch menu wasn't overflowing with options, each dish was a pure winner. We shared a bit of everything among our couples of six, and everyone agreed that the flavors were so perfectly balanced. Take the French toast, for instance; it wasn't crazy sweet as one would expect, it was just so naturally balanced that it left us all in WOW. Overall, it was a great brunch experience, and if you're on the hunt for a spot with awesome service and flavors then this place is definitely worth a visit! It checks off the vibe”
“Booked BABs on a whim as part of a quick getaway to NOLA. Was not disappointed! Creative mocktail and cocktail menu. Wonderful beer and wine list. Appetizers were heavenly and exquisite. Entrees were fresh and delicious, while being new takes on American cuisine. Staff was eager to please while not being snide or fake. Opinions were honest and questions were thoroughly answered. We're very guarded of our New Orleans meals when we visit. I won't hesitate to book Bywater American Bistro on our next trip!”
“Delicious food! Must try the black Forrest cake and the gumbo. Be sure to ask the waiter what’s good. To know: the small plates are genuinely small - plan to share. You are going to pay more than the amount of food you get.”

“Visited this place from out of town. Absolutely loved the ambiance. Atmosphere was very relaxing. Felt like we were in a speakeasy- dim lights and beautiful decor. A must visit if you’re in ”
“Had the butter chicken, garlic butter naan and a mango lassi. Everything was wonderful, great flavor and perfectly crisp and airy naan. Lassi was perfect consistency and very refreshing.”
“Food, cocktails & service are all top notch. Recommend sitting at the chef’s counter if you get the chance…it’s a great way to watch the craftsmanship that goes into every dish. We will definitely go back next time we’re in town.”
“According to the hostess, this was originally an old rectory that they renovated and turned into a charming, warm and inviting space with kitschy seating. Upon entering, there is a dining space similar to a front room that leads into a livingroom complete with a fireplace. If you walk down the hallway, there is a curtained dining nook as well as an indoor patio and a lively bar area. They also have a super cute outdoor, open air dining space with plenty of seats. The house made focaccia was very delicious and a must! The oysters were good as they were from the east coast. We really enjoyed the roasted gulf shrimp, but we were not told that the heads would be on nor is it written in the description on the menu; so be prepared. Our main dishes consisted of the chicken under a brick and the daily fish of halibut. Both dishes were delicious! They only have two options for dessert and our chocolate tart did not look like the photo on their website but it was still good. The lavender semifreddo was fire! I couldn't stop eating it!Our waitress did a good job but there were a few things overlooked, like not being cognizant of empty water glasses, letting dishes pile up and not changing out our silverware and plates, however, she was in training, so we didn't say anything. This is definitely a neighborhood gem and not to be missed.”

“Truthfully one of the best meals that my wife and I have ever experienced in our time together. We went for her birthday and the food was outstanding!! Our sever was amazing and gave us great recommendations. Every bite we took was better than the next. True standouts was the bread service and hummus with lamb ragu and hummus with fried chicken. Dessert was also fabulous! All around an amazing dining experience and whenever we return to New Orleans we will certainly be going again!”

“Their sandwiches are fresh and so good. We ate here two nights in a row. I had never had a mufelatta before and it didn’t disappoint but the Philly cheesesteaks was my favorite.”
“Stranger to the neighborhood and found this delightful place to chill and eat! I highly recommend the mushroom and Swiss burger, along with a vodka and cranberry cocktail. The bartender is so welcoming.”
“This is not fancy, this is an epically perfect dive bar. We headed here in NOLA to watch MSU game for the tournament. There were plenty of TVs, comfortable seating, and we sat right at the bar. Bartender was attentive, knowledgeable, and hilarious. Also the drinks are NOT weak! The food was totally perfect, definitely recommend the pizza and the potato skins. We did a lot while in New Orleans but this was one of our fav experiences.”
“Truly a great diner! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the staff was wonderful! They definitely know how to provide you an excellent service & treat everyone like family (the good family). This place is a neighborhood gem!”
“The service here was sooooo slow. Spent 2 hours there but the food was really good! Order the alligator half fried half blackened. SO YUMMY! The shrimp and crawfish pasta comes with sooooo much seafood which is amazing! Shrimp po'boy is okay. Really yummy gumbo!”
“A very nice escape from the Bourbon St madness. This place somehow manages to be a dive bar, and trendy at the same time. It's a friendly, intimate environment, with comfortable lounge furniture tucked away in a few corners, and a beautiful courtyard out back. I know a few other reviews mention the bathrooms, and they are certainly quirky; however, for me it was in more of a made you smile type way. They were extremely dark, only lighted by a pink neon sign. There is no mirror, so don't go in expected to tidy up your appearance. I have to assume these were conscious decisions made by whoever designed/decorated the place. What better way to say we don't care what you look like, and neither should you than to give customers no mirror or light to check their appearance in. There isn't much signage out front, so it'd be easy to miss when the doors are close. They just have a small hanging sign that says something along the lines of "last stop before the tourist traps" which I found to be both clever and true. I wouldn't say the drinks are cheap, but the quality is excellent and they are relatively affordable for what you'd be asked to pay at most any other bar near Bourbon. The bartender was extremely nice, and the drinks were finished quickly. I didn't get to spend nearly as much time here as I would have liked because we had a busy afternoon ahead, but High Grace will certainly top the lists of bars I stop off in next time I'm near the French Quarter.”
“Such good service! Popped in for an appetizer one night then came back for breakfast. Service was good, we got sat quickly & got our food not long after. Next time we'd go for dinner or lunch when we're in New Orleans.”
“It's not a fancy place but they have cheap and cold beverages, great food throughout the day and night and even laundry machines you can use while traveling. I've sent many folks to this bar and they have almost all loved it.”
“If you're into a dive bar vibe, this is the place for you. It actually has a coin operated laundromat in the bar and the bartender will give you a cup of soap. My GF and I did a load of wash and enjoyed some shots and cocktails while we waited. We went there three times in our ten day visit to NOLA simply just to chill and have some cheap drinks.”
“Joann was AMAZING!! Very down to earth, friendly, knowledgeable about NOLA, and made great drinks. We are visiting for the history of the area and to experience some true New Orleans stuff. She gave us so many amazing suggestions and made us feel so welcome. Such a great little bar on the outskirts of the French Quarter. If you want a great bar without all the crazy, drunk chaos of Bourbon Street, I highly recommend The Voodoo Lounge. Though I won’t lie, Joann made our experience!!”
“We found this bar by chance while seeking shelter from the rain. It has a quirky theme centered around toilets, which adds a fun touch. Keep in mind, they only accept cash. The drinks here are big and pack a punch, starting at around $6 for basic options. Expect to mingle with a local crowd.”
“I’ve heard the bartenders are great here and this is the place. I went Monday night, the bartender was ugly af. He knocked over a whole glass of wine on my friend and was unapologetic. Then charge my friend $6 for a Water. He said he was new lol We are service industry, we tip. The disrespect is not okay.”
“We made this place a stop on our celebration of my youngest's 21st birthday pub crawl, and enjoyed our visit and drinks! We went upstairs where we could toss some beads from the balcony and had a great drink and chat with the bartender, who gave us some good ideas on other places to visit. Everyone was friendly, the place felt clean, and the atmosphere was great. Thank you for being part of our evening!”
“First Aunt Tiki’s experience was about 15 years ago. This year my wife let me bring the kids. My 23 year old and I went to see my Cowboys get beat on Christmas Eve. Love this bar. New and fantastic every time I sneak in. Unfortunately after I left, in the rain, slip sliding over to Bourbon St. I eventually slipped my best slip and fractured my fibula, skinned my knees and scabbed up my forehead. I’m paying for it now but it was an epic adventure. Love all of you there but I’m gonna give the old liver a break for a while. 10 out of 10 if you’re cool!”

Takeout Restaurants
“The looks of the food does no justice. You have to actually try their food. Living in a world with so much inflation and bad unhealthy food, I left here feeling like I received my monies worth. I ate half my plate and I had energy to do other activities afterwards. I walked the French Quarter and didn’t feel tired. I finished the rest of my plate for dinner and instead of feeling tired and sleepy, I decided to come here and write this post. Worth every second of my time. Eating vegetables are an exciting experience, especially when you can eat them and feel good.”
“Outstanding food! Probably the best jerk chicken I've had! Service was okay - could've refilled waters and they didn't get me a receipt, but the owner came and talked and was great. A little generic in the atmosphere, but not bad. Overall would go again, for sure.”
“Amazing food. Trendy vibes, great lunch spot, full bar, dog friendly patio. Restaurant partners with a local farm to source their meat. We always make it a point to stop here on our annual trip and stock up on charcuterie to bring home.”
“We were welcomed even we made it nick of time before closing. We ordered Special Fried Oysters, Shrimps & Beignet and Sandwich/Soup (Shrimp Po'Boy and Gumbo). Blue Hurricanes! Did not disappoint. Cozy interior dining!”
“Been meaning to write this review for a while. Was just daydreaming about Manolito and rememvered to write this.Visited in January and had an absolutely incredible time. This was kind of the crowning jewel of our trip to New Orleans. A lot of lackluster experiences down there but Manolito truly was a masterpiece. Small bar, historical atmosphere, very traditional cocktails (haven’t seen thrown cocktails in a while), incredible food, and a great bartender. Best bar experience we had while in town. Will definitely make it a point to stop back by. Hope they get the expansion the bartender was describing to us.P.s. - We have had MANY croquettes in our time and the ones here were among the best we’ve ever had.”
“My friend and I experienced the Chloe for lunch last week 10/12/23 and it was absolutely the best lunch from start to end I have ever had. The goat cheese, pepper and garlic starter is so full of flavor I can’t even describe how happy it made my taste buds. Every bite of food I had was simply perfection. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful in their recommendations. I honestly am planning another weekend trip simply to dine here again. This is a MUST eat while in town. Thank you all for this memorable experience.”
“Everything was amazing!! The ambience, staff and food…oysters bed, curried gumbo, pork vindaloo, and crème brûlée were all spot on. Next time I visit my family will definitely come back to enjoy again.”
“"I've been a fan of this restaurant for its exceptional food, a dish we never fail to order and always enjoy. However, during our latest visit, the service fell short of expectations, leading me to remove a star from my usual rating.”
“The beignets were delicious. They have coffee with regular milk only. For people who don’t tolerate milk, you will have to drink your coffee black. When I arrived there was a long line. After I got in, I noticed there was another entrance on the other side. As you see the main establishment facing the street, the main line is on the right, the other entrance is on the left and no one was making a line. When you come in just find a table and sit down, don’t worry about it being with dirty plates and empty coffee cups from past clients. Someone will come and clean it up. They get upset if you clean up. They will take your order and bring it to the table. They accept cash only.”
“Food came out fast and the biscuit was great! Kind staff. Bright atmosphere & cute decor. Nice music/energy.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and spacious seating”
“We stopped here not once but twice when we were visiting New Orleans! Every item we got from this bakery was absolutely spectacular. Here is everything we tried, and there are some items I am probably forgetting: pate chaud, baked bao, steamed bao, almond croissant, yuca pie, banh bao chi, and che ba mau. My favorite items were the pate chaud and the banh bao chi.The pate chaud was nice and flakey while the inside was rich in flavor. It was similar to that of like a meaty gravy, and I loved it. The banh bao chi were probably one of best little treats I have had in a while, and I would happily order these to my house if that's possible. They were squishy and yummy. This was an all around great establishment and everyone working here was super friendly and inviting. Also, super reasonable prices!”
“This place is amazing. The food is perfect. It's also a very cute and colorful atmosphere. Very close to the theaters! It deserves to be busier. I hope more people discover this gem!”
“Delicious breakfast! I ordered the special of the day: pear & goat cheese French toast and I also enjoyed the shrimp & grits. The orange juice was fresh squeezed & tasty.”
“Truthfully one of the best meals that my wife and I have ever experienced in our time together. We went for her birthday and the food was outstanding!! “I love Lil Dizzy’s food! The gumbo is like no other. The crawfish bisque is absolutely amazing. The fried chicken is just like my grandma’s. OMG I can go on and on, the Mac and sweet potatoes, potato salad, and so much more! You have to experience this place for yourself.”

“We were here in NOLA over the St. Paddy’s Day weekend. We dined at Stanley twice while we were here. We loved the food and drinks we had and Tonya was so very nice and pleasant and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We will definitely make it a point to dine at Stanley again on our next trip. Don & Perry, Dallas. 3/18/24”
“While in NOLA we always stop here and are always happy with the food, service and atmosphere in general. It’s enough away from the Bourbon atmosphere but close enough at the same, if you have a preference. It was clean, fast and friendly. All good!”
“I love me some Chubbies Fried Chicken, best chicken around. Every time I come to New Orleans I make sure I get some fried chicken. This time I am taking deliveries back to Florida with me.”
“I'm so glad they are back! I love this as a lunch option in MidCity. They have a great mission and their food is good, a win win! And personally, I'm ecstatic they brought back their black bean burger.”
“I just had their home made BOUDIN w/ crackers, Crystal and creole mustard! as good as I have ever had! I met the girl that made it at the meat counter on April 18…she was proud and should be!”
“This place has wut alot of bars where I'm from don't have! Upon walking in, it's a total vibe! Live band playing an array of different (genre) music. Not catering to only one group or culture of people. They definitely got it! And the drinks weren't bad either. The music was so good, it enticed us to stay and keep the drinks coming! It's definitely a place u must go to!”
“The place was clean, the person who took our order actually made eye contact when talking to us, and the back of the house crew appeared and sounded like cared about the customers and what they were doing!”
“I love this little place. It is super chill during the day and a nice place to eat solo and get some work done. Try the enchiladas poblanos served with a fresh salad. And delicious homage salsa! Unassuming and authentic.”
“As someone who has never tried the food from here, I was excited. I ordered my food and it was ready almost immediately. I was extremely pleased with the food they provided. Every employee I spoke to or asked something of while I was there was polite, prompt and accommodating. I will definitely be going back and would recommend any other first time takers to definitely check it out. It's the worth the trip!”
“I love this location because the owners are extremely kind and they work through the lunch rush super fast!! No mistakes on my orders here ever and I'm a regular.”
“Chicken was hot but my fries was very cold and they trying to make me pay for sauce because I told cashier I ask for honey mustard sauce not Cane's sauce does one sauce go with the meal?”
“Raising Cane’s is my favourite chicken restaurant. The chicken fingers are cooked fresh and never frozen. The lemonade is really fresh and tasty and made in the unit from real fresh lemons. The staff is friendly and amazing. Food is prepared fresh when you order it and comes out fast. The special secret sauce pairs well with the fingers and fries. Cane’s specialises in chicken fingers and they do it right. Their tag line “One Love” is perfect and is present throughout your Cane’s experience. With many locations, you’re never far from a unit!!!! Stop in and git ya sum!!!! And bring ya mamma and dem!!!! I love me my Cane’s!!!”
“Ordered from Uber eats, didn't have high expectations but it was amazing!! The sushi rice was perfect! The rolls were fresco and delicious and they got or order completely correct!!”
“My local neighborhood Smoothie King. This location is easy to get to with plenty of parking. They have all the smoothies I know and love plus they are always staffed with two dependable workers taking orders and grinding out my smoothie orders within seconds of me ordering.”
“This is my favorite smoothie king the people are friendly and They make the best vegan mango kale smoothie out of them all. I have tried didn’t smoothie kings I’m none of them taste good to me and a medicine after taste I can’t explain it but no theirs is always good”

“Had the butter chicken, garlic butter naan and a mango lassi. Everything was wonderful, great flavor and perfectly crisp and airy naan. Lassi was perfect consistency and very refreshing.”
“We had the most amazing dining experience we've had in awhile. Our server was attentive without hovering. We ordered the gulf fish (Drum) for my son and we did the Chef's choice. Everything came out with perfection. Our drinks were never empty and no courses overlapped. Needless to say we left full and blown away by the whole team at Plates.”

“We came for dinner as a family of four adults. We were seated outdoors which was really beautiful. Our waiter, Hunter was fantastic offering suggestions and great tips for first time visitors to NOLA. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Would recommend.Vegetarian of our party were vegetarian. Our waiter suggested a vegetable plate which was really nice! We also had the ravioli which were good but not great.”

“Uh oh new hot spot!!!This is seriously one of the best meals I've ever had. These guys know what's up, and the WINE, so good. Make your reservation now before it gets hard to get a table.”
“Best overall food experience ever! Every course was meticulously prepared and described perfectly so we could know exactly what we were tasting in every bite. the wine pairings were absolute perfection. Superb chefs, and the entire staff was friendly and professional. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“From the moment you step into Chemin à la Mer, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of refined elegance. The restaurant's stunning riverfront location provides breathtaking views of the Mississippi River, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. But the true star of Chemin à la Mer is its exquisite cuisine. The menu features a delightful array of French-inspired dishes, each prepared with meticulous attention to detail and bursting with flavor. My personal favorite was the quiche, which is undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted. With her engaging personality and genuine love for children, Mandy made our daughter feel special and entertained throughout our meal. Her kindness and attentiveness were a true reflection of the restaurant's commitment to providing exceptional service to all its guests. Thank you, Mandy, for making our experience a lovely & memorable one.”
“Amazing experience even at the bar. Great spirits selection, knowledgeable bar tenders that care, and amazing food. The BBQ shrimp was delicious yet simple. The chicory Manhattan was sweet, decadent, and savory. The barrel proof Weller was oaky, sweet, and hot. The traditional punch was sever with pizzaz and had neutral Asian flavors. Well worth the expense! Sean was a great bartender that walked us through our option and had great attention to detail!”
“Amazing food next to none! I was a walk-in and got a table by the bar and ordered two cold and two hot appetizers. All four were amazing and I’ve been to several Michelin star restaurants! The tuna crudo was light and refreshing. The venison tartare was interesting although slightly chewy. The escargot was prepared differently than in the shell and seemed sautéed. The gnocchi was the star of the show and was amazing! Even the amus-bouche was decadent. If you have a chance to visit - please do - you will not be disappointed”
“My wife and I attended supper at Mosquito Supper Club this evening and I can safely say that it was my favorite meal I've ever eaten. We sat at a communal table and had a wonderful conversation with the other diners. The food was tremendously good, presented beautifully, and we left stuffed after four courses. We had so much fun and couldn't believe how delicious everything we ate was. Without a doubt the next time we come back to New Orleans we will dine here again, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a real, honest, authentic meal served with thought and care.”
“I love great design. The aesthetic appeal of this hotel is JUST SO enjoyable. And the functional design of the chamber room is the best I’ve ever experienced. Add to that the hospitality of the staff… I can’t wait to enjoy another Virgin Hotels property. This hotel is a winning combination”
“Where to begin. Food. I would say the best filet in town! Sides were amazing and plenty to share. I am a French onion soup snob,(had it seven times in Paris), and it was divine! From the beginning, our party of five fell in love with Terrance and Thomas! And the gentleman with him, it was Double T double D! From napkin in the lap to folded if you left the table(it's the little things that are few and far between). They watched to see if refills were needed and were beyond attentive! The entree presentation was awesome! I cannot say enough good things! Fixing to enjoy a chocolate martini before leaving! It's a must if you are visiting Nola!”
“Such a fabulous restaurant with a phenomenal atmosphere. The staff is amazing! Sunday brunch out of this world! And lunch phenomenal as well. We definitely suggest going to miss River.”
“Yo Nashi provided a top 3 food experience for my girlfriend and I. The omakase style of menu (chefs choice) allowed us to branch out and enjoy a wide array of food we wouldn't have ordinarily tried. Each of the 7 courses were perfectly crafted and cooked. I will never forget my night here. The whole staff was friendly and attentive and ensured the entire meal and experience was flawless. I cannot recommend Yo Nashi enough and will do so to anyone who can listen.”
“This was a new adventure and it paid off. The game was on and the crowd was loving it. The feel is spot on. I recommend this place. Security also on site. No guns allowed.”
“Destiny was the sweetest host! I am quite indecisive and particular but she was so accommodating and kind. I invited friends that had come from out of town to show them a great time in the city Destiny went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and were taken care of. They all enjoyed the experience and can't wait to come back again!”
“I earlier, good experience. Our waitress Leslie was very good. Took good care of us. She made the experience wonderful. Food was good. Everything was so tasty and delicious. I ordered the ribeye which normally favorable cut if meat but wasn't any flavor. Once I out A-1 which I usually don't need in a great steak, it was wonderful. The sides were prepared just right? Well seasoned, and tasty. Cost was a great bargain. But for the food, you couldn't beat the cost.”
“Today, everything was on point. We sat in the bar area, and our bartenders Rasheed and Amber gave the best service ever. They were well engaged with all of the guests and did their best to make sure everyone was well taken care of. Chef Teddy....he was one of the best. He came out to our table and checked to make sure we were satisfied with the food and the service. Happy hour was definitely a happy hour!!!”

“This place should be hopping every day. The food was absolutely incredible and Misty, our server was great. We had a variety of dishes and the flavor of each of them was superb. It was definitely spicy, but we were warned it was, and the spice did not overpower the amazing flavors. This place is a definite repeat and worth going to, especially if you’re looking for something different than fried Southern. I hope this place has a long life. If I were a local, I’d make it a regular dining experience.”

“Food, cocktails & service are all top notch. Recommend sitting at the chef’s counter if you get the chance…it’s a great way to watch the craftsmanship that goes into every dish. We will definitely go back next time we’re in town.”
“I'm not a vegan eater, nor do I write these reviews ever, but this place is GOOD!!! The Creole Omelette toast was great and the Tea Biscuit was one of the best pieces of bread I've ever eaten.”

“I have been sending people to Bar Tonique for close to a year from my position as liquor vault manager at the Sazerac House. So many return to tell me what a great experience they had & to thank me for recommending it. I have left the position at Sazerac House & won't be sending any more from there, Good luck to all the craftsmen & women behind this truly wonderful place!”
“Came in for a frozen Irish iced coffee and loved the staff and atmosphere so much we ended up staying for a few extra rounds! One of my favorite spots in the French Quarter.”
“Best beignets ever! You also can't go wrong with their other delicious desserts. This was recommended by locals and now I see why. We are always bringing some home everytime. Light and flaky, not thick. The Rampart location has more selection, but you can grab your favorites in the French Market”
“My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Morning Call Coffee Stand in New Orleans, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly made beignets and café au lait. The service was lightning-fast, and despite being a cash-only establishment, we were in and out in no time. The staff members were not only efficient but also had a great sense of humor, adding a playful touch to our morning routine. As for the food, it was simply divine. The beignets were light, fluffy, and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar, while the café au lait was rich and creamy, the perfect complement to the sweet treats.Overall, Morning Call Coffee Stand provided us with a memorable breakfast experience that perfectly encapsulated the charm and flavor of New Orleans. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is definitely worth a visit.”
“Guy's is my favorite po'boy shop in the Garden District. Haven't been here in a few years, and although the layout has changed a bit, the shrimp po'boy is just the same. Wish I could be there more often.”
“Our first time eating here and the food and service was awesome. Our waitress name Tess was so friendly and made us feel welcomed. Our girls weekend 1st stop to eat ?”
“I found Zee's through Barstool Pizza Reviews about a year ago, and I had to stop by while I was in the area now that they have a brick and mortar establishment! I ordered the red top slice which was pretty good. It was both thin and crispy, but I think the sauce or cheese could've had a bit more flavor. I imagine a whole fresh pizza would've blown this slice out of the water, but for the price, crispness, and convenience, it's hard to beat!”
“The food and atmosphere is spot on!! However, needs to have REAL flatware to go with the REAL dishes instead of plastic knives, spoons and forks!! That would increase the quality of the dining experience!”
“Came here two days in a row because food was so good and the service was great! Day 1 Essie was an amazing server!! Day 2 Angelina was equally as great! We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends.”
“This place is nothing short of phenomenal. I'll explain. my 15 y.o. and I are constantly on the search for a good Pad kra pao (Holy Basil/Spicy Basil) that's actually SPICY . Don't sleep on this neighborhood spot. Even if, like me, you're from a different neighborhood (or even State/Country/Planet) this place is legit. Awesome, friendly service and atmosphere here. Can't wait to bring my son. Fair warning: Thai hot is just that... ...FINALLY! Can't go wrong with Thai'd Up!”
“Wow best snow ball I have ever had. Never would have thought of sweetened condensed milk in a snow ball would be so AMAZING. Fast as they can friendly service. Ok the building is 85 years old don't expect much yet loved this place.”
“So good we went twice! The police patrol told us about this great brunch spot. Wasn't fancy but there was a line which told me it was probably going to be awesome....it was. Breakfast was enormous and our server Nora was just the sweetest and took excellent care of us both times in. They have bottomless bloody Mary's for cheap and delicious mimosas! Gotta try this great breakfast stop!”
“Nice local pub. We stumbled upon this place and I am so glad we did. Had an awesome burger paired with a nice ale. Friendly service and prices are good for the area. Definitely will return.”
“Cute little gelato shop! You can tell everything is made in-house! So many sorbet flavors, great for those gluten and dairy free people. Service was very friendly and quick.”
“Eaten here several times and I keep coming back because everything is delicious. Staff is friendly and happy to explain the cuisine to the unfamiliar. Price is right too.”
“This would be five stars if there hadn’t been a couple of slipups as the food and atmosphere were great and the servers were both friendly and knowledgeable about the food. However one side dish never appeared (but didn’t show up on the check) and we were assured that they knew how to prepare an Irish coffee but this was not the case - it wasn’t even close to the real thing. We would also have appreciated seeing a few moderately priced bottles of wine on the list, i.e. in the $35-50 range. But still a very enjoyable meal.”

“This place is such a gem! The food is amazing and the staff should be serving royalty! They are so kind and attentive! They made great suggestions and anticipated all of our needs!”
“Amazing food and great service. We ordered off the prefix menu and everything was so great and the serving sizes were generous. Was one of our favorite meals during our trip. Overall great value and would gladly go back!”
“It’s was a belated birthday dinner, and it was well worth the wait. Food was scrumptious, our waitress was full of personality. Kitchen was busy, but gave us time to breathe between courses. The white chocolate bread pudding was excellent and large enough for 3 of us to share. Thanks for such a delicious meal … until next time …”
“I was very pleased with this beautiful restaurant! It was an amazing and new experience! I would recommend to anyone to try! Once you try it once you gone once you are going to want to go back! Gluten free friendly!!”

“Whenever we visit New Orleans we head. To Katie’s for breakfast. Food is delicious, the staff is fabulous and the atmosphere is fun. It’s a vibe! Definitely check them out !”
“One of the BEST reuben sandwichs we've had. Ribs were great as well as the pulled pork. We had potato salad and Mac N cheese which they put their spin on too. Absolutely fantastic!”

“We had an amazing experience ! We got into NOLA later than expected and we’re starving. We had walked around and a lot of places were closing. Liz was outside treated us in the most friendly manner and we got a table right away. My 5 year old was already freaked out by bourbon street and was being stubborn. They made a grilled cheese especially for her and got her feeling better. The food was amazing and the service and hospitality were impeccable! I highly recommend pasta, gumbo, or the sandwiches. It is a bit pricey but your taste buds will thank you and Liz will tell you anything you need to know about visiting the city, and make you feel like family. Oh and did I mention homemade biscuits and to die for French bread?”

“We went yesterday and the wait was 2 hours. Got there a little earlier today and we got in. I’ve eaten at the Uptown location and was so happy they opened up another one that’s closer. It was my daughter’s first time and she said the food is so good and understands why there is a wait.”
“Ordered the seafood platter and a filet to share. Everything was great. We make a special side trip to eat here and were not disappointed. The only thing lacking was the bread which not great and New Orleans has good bread so it could have been better.Parking: Free valet, just pull up front.”
“We were looking for a non-touristy spot after seeing an amazing jazz performance at Preservation Hall. The bartender prior to the performance recommended a few places including The Grapevine. We sat at the bar and were greeting immediately and the bartender Michael was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They start out every meal with individually warmed baguettes and specialty whipped butter, that night it was cracked pepper and truffle. We shared a couple items off of the specials (an artichoke soup that was to die for and a roasted marrow bone topped with Creole style crawfish tails) and then the caprese which may seem simple but was done to perfection with a NOLA flair topped with seafood. The price point was also amazing for both food and alcohol. This was definitely our most favorite eatery experience while in NOLA.”

Saint John
“This is a hidden gem. I love the oysters, St. John and the shrimp remoulade appetizers. The appetizers are always on point. I have not tried every entrée, but the ones I have had don’t compare to the appetizers. The shrimp and grits is pretty good.”

“Above all, you MUST order the seared scallops and artichoke appetizer. Fan-freaking-tactic! The Black Manhattan is excellent — except is was stirred long enough so it was nearly lukewarm when brought to the table. Great flavor, but disappointed at how warm it was. (An extra point for Luxardo cherries. Seriously. How can a restaurant claim they serve cocktails if they don’t use Luxardo cherries????)”
The buttery crust, the velvety custard, and the perfectly cooked bacon harmonized in a symphony of textures and flavors that left me speechless. Our server, Mandy, was an absolute delight. Her warm smile, attentive service, and genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant's offerings made us feel welcomed and valued. She expertly guided us through the menu, providing insightful recommendations and ensuring that our every need was met with utmost care. The other breakfast items we sampled were equally impressive. The omelets were fluffy and flavorful, the pancakes were light and airy, and the fresh fruit was impeccably ripe and juicy. Each dish was a testament to the chef's culinary expertise and commitment to using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. To top off our exceptional dining experience, our daughter received the utmost attention from Mandy. With her engaging personality and genuine love for children, Mandy made our daughter feel special and entertained throughout our meal. “The service was great. It had a nice bar and a peaceful feeling. We ordered pork belly, pork shoulder, octopus, beet salad, roti bread, spaghetti, and rice. The pork belly was by far the best dish. The pork melted in my mouth and tasted like heaven. The pork shoulder was great. The inside was cooked well and the sauce was okay. The only issue I had with the sauce was that it was too sweet. The octopus was also good because it had a nice and crispy outside and soft juicy inside. Definitely one of their top dishes. The best salad was refreshing and on point. The rice had a nice buttery garlic seasoning and the bread was nice and warm. The spaghetti was a little bit spicy but the flavors and taste were excellent. Deserts- chocolate Pana cotta with a strawberry jelly was brilliant. House made ice cream- blueberry rose, passion fruit, and banana fudge rum. The blueberry rose was my favorite as it had bold flavors and brilliant taste. The others are good but could be better. I definitely recommend going here and will come back!”

“Intimate setting. Plenty of quality starters/snacks including crawfish beignets and fries. I got the Romaine salad with chicken and didn't love it. My date for a vegetarian option which she loved. Good ambiance, hip, cool & friendly servers”
“Loved the atmosphere and the food here, the dining room is beautiful. Favorites were the blue crab beignets, shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, gumbo and pecan ”
“Absolutely amazing. We came for our anniversary and while we didn’t share that with the staff they really made us feel so special. Incredible food and service.”
“The Toups’ Burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Our waiter was very knowledgeable in the dishes and kept our drinks full. I highly recommend this place. Next time I go I want to try the smoked duck!”

“Incredible food. Most dishes are appropriately small so it encourages sharing and a family-style approach. Pizzas are really something else and the pastas are to die for. Really great choices in wines, and although the price tags arent low, it is worth it.”

“Everything here was fire. We got fried oysters, salad (mostly cheese which usually turns me off but it was good af), corn babies, crudo and boudin (sauce was a bit too sweet w the boudin).”

“Cute restaurant with amazing food, we had a few small plates: steak skewers, ceviche, salad, and tostones. Would recommend all of them but the best was the ceviche! The cocktails were delicious too.”
“One of the best dining experiences my wife and I ever had. It is a true culinary delight that awakens your taste buds. Braiden was an excellent server who takes pride in his work and it shows! Thank you for a wonderful evening.”
“Really loved our experience. Appreciated the organized hustle and bustle everywhere. Beautiful and tasty dishes all around. Get the turtle soup and soufflé. Staff was awesome. Special shoutout to Ashly for being on top of everything with drink recommendations, not to mention running down my purse when I left it behind.”
“Coolest atmosphere! Excellent cocktails and the bourbon selection in their sister bar, Rusty Nail was fantastic. Off the beaten path, pricey, but what isn't!?!”
“Don’t miss the margaritas or the jalapeño cole slaw. Great place for a GF vegetarian like me.Vegetarian options: The only hard part is choosing which delicious item to eat this time.”

“This place is amazing. I found it by chance since it was right next to my air bnb and wow. This is probably the best pizza I have ever had. We ordered the burrata, the Caesar salad and we ordered the Bianca pizza with some modifications. The burrata was delicious as was the Caesar salad. Even the pizza was amazing. The pizza was so good I had to take it to the airport the next day and people were asking me where it was from, it was that good. I’ve never had truffle ricotta before and it was a dream. Definitely recommend this place if you’re local or planning on visiting Frenchmen street”
“Amy is one of the BEST bartenders I've ever had, and I went to college in Wisconsin. If you want a small bar with good music and good people, this is the place!”
“Super healthy food and service with a smile here. They will make modifications for you, if you need it. I often get their delicious food to go. It’s very easily ordered online.”
“All of my senses were OVERWHELMED with pleasure at Criollo's Jazz Brunch! The service and food was superb Michelin level quality. The live jazz band kept me entertained as I was coursed out. The chef elevated the fried green tomatoes and chicken biscuit to an award winning level. The chicken biscuit was smothered in jalapeño's, scallions and the best rue I have ever tasted so I sent my compliments to the chef. Every delectable bite forced my eyes shut so I could deeply enjoy the freshness, flavor and texture. While I was enjoying coffee the chef sent complimentary Rosemary & Lemon Custard Madeline's. It was an innovative way to approach this classic pastry. My only critique is the custard on top was so good I wanted more. Very light, fresh, and balanced melody of flavors. The consistency was reminiscent of a fusion between a scone and puff pastry. You can tell the French invited fries by how well the fries here complimented every dish. It was such a phenomenal experience, I found myself making reservations for the next day halfway through brunch and I am happy to say the food, service and entertainment are consistently great here. The fancy French atmosphere at Hotel Monteleone was fit for a Queen and the bathroom attendant cleaned the stall prior to each guests use. This is a must try spot in The French Quarter.”
“Latin American food at its best! Interesting menu and big portions with home cooked flavors. Don't miss the wonderful hand crafted cocktails made with care by the owner himself. So yummy! The wait staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed a leisurely dinner.”
“OMG.. THE FOOD WAS AMAZINGGGG.. the crab cakes were so flaky and good. the Creole oysters and the oyster Rockefeller were the bomb as well..my first time here.. but definitely not the last.. great service..”
“Great distillery tour and tasting. A must stop while in the quarter. Rene was great and very knowledgeable. my favorite was the Irish Whiskey, Bourbon and Gin”

“Great place to enjoy tacos and drinks in a cool outdoor setting in the 2nd oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. You on the East Bank? Take the ferry, it's a short walk from the dock through one of the iconic neighborhoods of the city.”

“This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in New Orleans. The food is outstanding, without trying too hard or overdoing it in any way. Pairings of flavors are superb, the food is consistently outstanding, and the service is knowledgeable and spot on. The location is perfect, too.”
“We came at 4, which is when they open. Perfect, no one was hardly there. Then, out of nowhere. A family of 10 with 8 kids all under the age of 11 was so loud and had no home training the adults didn't seem to mind either. Not to mention, the kids were all girls. Business is Business. I would say wayy too kid friendly of a ”
“According to the hostess, this was originally an old rectory that they renovated and turned into a charming, warm and inviting space with kitschy seating.

“My family and I went to eat here for Good Friday. We had the seafood platter and Jerk Chicken Nachos! Omg I highly recommend it to anyone considering these items. I also had the soursop and ginger lemonade. It was the best. Please go and pay them a visit. The staff were very warm and made sure we enjoy our stay!”

“Fantastic evening at an institution. Food was top tier from the French 75s through to the baked Alaska dessert. Crab cake / Shrimp Arnaud starters were solid whilst the mains (veal medallions in a mushrooom sauce / quail in a strawberry gaatrique) were exceptional. Service was top tier with a special shoutout to Travis who made our evening.”

The chicory Manhattan was sweet, decadent, and savory. The barrel proof Weller was oaky, sweet, and hot. The traditional punch was sever with pizzaz and had neutral Asian flavors. Bar Pomona
“such a cute lil spot. only got one dish and it was very good (crudités) and wish i could go regularly to try more stuff because what i had was so promising! but the star of what i tried was the soft serve (chocolate with chili crisp), it was smooth and creamy and a nice level of chocolate. good vibes and folks. if i lived in new orleans would hit this spot up often!”
“Possibly - and I am not exaggerating - the best meal of my life, still dreaming about it the next day.You know it’s good when their “bread starter” is perfectly baked, garlic butter smothered corn bread. Atmosphere was so cool, food was INCREDIBLE, and service was top-tier (Doug was on POINT with all of his recommendations). Started with the grilled alligator, alligator & shrimp cheesecake (a must-order) and crab stuffed shrimp to die for. Then the crawfish étouffée and eggplant pirogue for mains - cannot recommend both enough. And the sides are amazing too. We had red beans and rice, smothered cabbage, spiced corn, and the most mouthwatering smashed sweet potatoes you’ve ever had. He was also kind enough to serve a bit of spinach salad between courses so we got our greens in ? And THEN he served us an unreal combo plate with bread pudding with caramel drizzle and the most divine crème brûlée you can imagine. And can’t forget the fresh watermelon mojito and hurricane-esque cocktails.I swear I’m shocked this place isn’t on every NOLA food list. also 100000% worth the Uber from French Quarter! 10-10 would fly back down from NYC just for this place ??”

Maïs Arepas
“Came on Tuesday, not very crowded. Heard they'd won a lot of awards. Well, it is good. Very good. The salad can feed 4 or more. Each Arepas is generous, not really meant to be cut in half and shared, as is our habit. My wife and I often say, I'm torn between A & B, (I'm torn between B & A), so we order both & switch partway through. Amusing sometimes seeing the faces on the wait staff. No Manhattans. Cachasa or Rum cocktails here.Apparently there was recent road repaving causing parking issues. We parked 20 feet to the door, no problem.”
“I contracted with Ralph's for a rehersal dinner for 50 people. Julie was my contact and she is amazing. I am a planner by nature but she was totally awesome. She walked us through the menu and space and the night was magical. She is attentive to detail, organized, pleasant to work with, and thought of things I needed based on the guest list. An example, I had one child's dinner and she called to see if that child required a high chair. It was those little things that she caught that made the event a night to remember. The staff on duty that night were also A+. They were exrremely attentive to all our guests needs. We had guests from 7 different states from CA to AK and they were blown away by the balcony bar, the views, and the entire event. It made me so proud to put our southern hospitality on display. I highly recommend Julie and Ralphs for your party needs.”
“Really cool outdoor space with good food, great for groups and vibey dates. If you want to eat outside, this is a top choice. You order at the window so the service is real quick and easy. Ordered a few tacos, the queso, and a bowl. So the tacos were ok, no real complaints. But the bowl is where it’s at. Beans and rice and guacamole and choice of protein and you can add broccoli and mushrooms. Great meal, really filling and delicious. The queso was unique, I added the chili and it came with pomegranate so it was a mixture of spice and sweet. Also, don’t sleep on the frozen mango margarita. Delish. This’ll be the happening spot as the weather warms up!”
“This was a fun adult bar setting with a sailor's theme. The food was amazing and the service even more amazing. They served drinks done right and if you go I highly recommend the Bread Service as a starter. You will not be disappointed!!!Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian optionsParking: There is a lot right across the street that cost roughly 4.00 for 2 hours. We found a place to park just around the corner for free.”

“Wow, this place is delicious. It can get super busy at peak times, so plan accordingly! I haven't had anything here that isn't absolutely delicious. Every meal is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The portions are a great size. The spring rolls are my personal fave. It's relaxing and beautiful inside, with kind and attentive wait staff. 5/5 rating for sure!”
“Sliced brisket was a massive portion. Very tasty with tender meat and a Smokey charred crust. Paired great with the sweet bbq sauce. I also loved the Mac and cheese side. I think the side was unlimited because the server asked if I wanted a refill. I would have if I wasn’t so full!”
“The food was amazing. The portions are huge. There is usually a wait but they get you in in a reasonable time. The service was great as well and it has a mom and pop feel atmosphere.”
“Awesome dinner as always. Made reservations at the last minute and they accommodated us right away and then when we arrived we were seated right away. Steaks, creamed spinach, asparagus and so much more was perfect. Our waiter Travis was the best! Seeing Glenn Bove made our night extra special.”
“Oooooo weeeee! This is where it's at. Fresh seafood and they get you in and out very quickly. Are they going to ask how your day is? No. But they operate like a well oiled machine and make sure your order is correct and fresh. The food is so good it hurts. Great flavor. Spicy! We had crawfish, crabs, and shrimp. The seafood itself is gluten free. I avoided the prepared dishes to be safe. I liked the boiled potatoes and corn. I did not like the boiled turkey wing. Great local place.”
“An exceptional bar in a city full of bars. The Paris Safari decor theme makes for a cozy vibe. The varied cocktail list has many New Orleans classics that are made expertly. We loved the Brandy Crusta, Arnaud’s Special and the Bobby Oakes. We also enjoyed the tasty gougeres and the deviled eggs from the bar bites menu. Service was excellent.”
“We had our Easter lunch here and everyone was extremely happy with their food. Great service, kind and timely, the owner came out and spoke with us and we all really enjoyed our time!”
“Great service, tasty food and a lively atmosphere. Our waiter gave us wonderful suggestions. The sides are just as good as the tacos. The Bacon Smothered Greens and Ancho Mashed Potatoes were so good and different than anything like them I've ever tasted! We also shared the Banana Bread Pudding and took a bag of cookies home to snack on tomorrow. We plan to return to The Rum House again and try some other tasty food.”
“AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING DRINKS, AMAZING ATMOSPHERE, AMAZING SERVICE !!!! TRY THEIR FRIED GREEN TOMATOES, SPRING ROLLS & PORK CABOBS. THANK ME LATER !!! ALSO BRAXTON AS A WAITER OR BARTENDER IS AMAZING !!! 10 STARS FOR SURE !!!”
“I don’t know where to start but maybe with the meticulous approach to everything from prep to plating. Every dish was immaculate. The vibe was blessedly chill. Our server Catherine (who I sensed handles greater responsibilities) was cordial and informative, including her wine selections. We went with classics tonight: ceviche, mofongo, arepas, ropa vieja, and everything was perfect. I love this place so much.”
“Pluck has a terrific selection of wines by the glass and the bottle. The wines you will find here are carefully selected and there are several fun surprises beyond the usual suspects. The food is also excellent. And the staff are knowledgeable and well trained.”

“Service was friendly professional and prompt. while food was exceptional, the presentationFor the chicken and waffles was subpar at best. It looked like my 16 year old prepared it. The waffleWas crispy and light though. The ambience was very crowded with minimal spaceFrom the neighboring tables. Would return for the gumbo”
“After a long trip and waiting to settle into the hotel we found this spot not more than a block away and kept going back over the course of the week even though we were just visiting and not for the convenience but the service was fantastic the food was amazing and overall just an incredible spot to check ”
“Best place for breakfast! Visited on multiple days of our trip. Delicious, homemade from scratch, creative and healthy options. The Interior decor is bright, uplifting and happy. Love the very comfortable green chairs. (not your standard wobbly wood seating). The service is outstanding: efficient and friendly.”

“Pretty good food for the price. There are a lot of different flavors to choose from, and the wings are fried fresh to order. If it gets busy, the wings can get a little soft on the way home, but are otherwise crisp when eaten in store.”
“The shrimp fried rice was amazing. The sesame chicken sauce was just as good. But I wasn’t a fan of the meat itself. Weird taste. But that’s not my problem. My problem is them not taking debit/credit cards. It’s 2023 I hardly ever carry cash. I was hungry and had my mind set on this place so I had to go to an ATM. Adding extra time and wasting gas. But overall. Everything else was great. I really did enjoy the Rice.”
“I've been to collettes over a dozen times, and I've never had one bad experience. It's the only reason I go to nola now, it's an incredible experience and I recommend it to everyone in the lifestyle I meet.”
“Best sushi in the city. Now mind you, I grew up in San Francisco and have lived in Los Angeles for over 25 years. I KNOW good Pacific quality sushi. This town blows for sushi. Gulf seafood is amazing! Pacific seafood is laughable. If you, like me, know and lust after something better... this is your answer. Ordered online through their website, tip, payment. Done. Walked in like a boss, said my name and walked out. Perfect pickup experience. I had places to be. They respect that. First time eating here so I danced around on the menu. My lady is diabetic, so rice free rolls are our litmus test. Can't hide behind that rice shield, dawg. They have two rice free rolls. Now I'm a gentleman so I take less than half the rolls we split, just so I can woo her with, "Please! This one is all yours!" I look like a boss. That's a pro tip, guys. She always does that delicate flower move of, "I'm so stuffed! Take the rest!" You know how it goes. Not this time amigo! I had two of six and she's going after that fourth like it's Mardi Gras. The other was a rice paper thing with a cucumber hat and a touch of spice... had it's own special subtly sweet citrus dipping sauce. Insane! Talk about balance. Speaking of... tempura appetizer. Yeah, you already know what it looks and tastes like just by saying those words, right? Nope! A slice of lemon in the dipping sauce. Mind. F'ing. Blown. Seriously, why are you still reading this and not going there right now to eat their food!? I work ten minutes away. I'm seriously making this place a regular weekly lunch thing. If they aren't yelling my name, like Norm in Cheers, as I walk in for lunch, I'm taking that as a personal failure on my part. If you see me there shoveling rolls into my fat face, give me a fist bump and a knowing nod. You're welcome.”
“Best cafe ever. SUCH a local hidden gem in New Orleans. Got the praline crunch ice cream and had to come back the next day. Pecan tart is sooooo good as well! Nicest people ever and made my experience so wonderful❤️”
“Visiting from Colorado, by far the best burger I have EVER had. Blackened chicken with anything is also incredible! Bit pricey but amazing food and absolutely worth it!”
“The location and atmosphere was not very chic but baby the food was on point and the service was excellent. They were so patient, helpful, and friendly! The food was bomb! Thanks New Orleans for a great restaurant on my trip!”
“Where else can you get gas station pizza at 3 a.m. in the morning? It gets 4 stars just for that. But I will warn you, GET IT HOT. Don't eat their ready pizzas.”
“I love this place! Customer service is phenomenal! Food portions are nice sized. I always get crawfish and crabs from here. Always hot & fresh!!!! Amazing flavor! They even split my crawfish up into different bags for my kids, and they do it with a “No problem at all” & a smile. Definitely a family favorite for us! Y’all are missing out if you pass this place up!! 10/10Kid-friendliness: They talk to my kids and answer all their questions. No matter who is in there, the staff is always upbeat, cheerful, and openly friendly.Parking: Huge parking lot”

“I visit Freddie's Chicken N' Waffles in July 2022 . My hotel was around the corner and I walked past and they were closing. The next morning I got up early. I had the fried strawberry pancake. This place is a hiding gem best breakfast in town. Never ever tasted great breakfast like this. I only eat breakfast at Freddie's Chicken N Waffles my entire stay. The wait time was slow and the waiter was busy but had a great attitude. Food is cooked at the time you ordered it and was worth the wait. My friend had the fried chicken and waffles and she said that it was good. My favorite is the strawberry fried pancake delicious!!! If I every return back to NO I would visit again. My own relatives who live in NO did not even know about this place!”

“Café Du Monde in New Orleans holds a special place in my heart. Having visited many times over the years, I can attest that it's always a delight. The beignets are irresistible, the ambiance is charming, and sipping on their famous café au lait is pure bliss. Not to mention, the lively street musicians and vibrant people-watching add to the magic of the experience. There's truly nothing quite like it! A must-visit for anyone exploring the Big Easy.-Marisa Balletti-Lavoie”
“Came here two days in a row because food was so good and the service was great! Day 1 Essie was an amazing server!! Day 2 Angelina was equally as great! We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends.”
“First time in NOLA, had to hit up Cafe Du Monde for their beignets! It was packed around 5, but the wait was only like 20 mins (way better than I thought). Once we had a table, the service was lightning-fast, and our order was on the table in 10 minutes. Definitely a must-try!”
“Bartender was amazing who served us a new cocktail. Brian was great. Complimentary champagne for our twentieth anniversary. The bread was ?and the steaks were amazing. We had the baked alaska for dessert and it was photo-worthy. I'd say it was more about the experience and history than the food per se.”
“Was able to secure a reservation during our tiny window of time in Nola. My husband is a homestyle eggs, bacon, home fries kind of guy. They were able to accommodate his request even though it’s not an option on the menu. He liked his choice which came with a generous amount of eggs, crispy bacon, and puffed potatoes. He had a Prosecco with the hot bread that came before the meals.I’m on a no meat/no dairy diet. I already knew I was ordering the Seafood Gumbo and so glad I did. It was the best gumbo of the trip. I even doublechecked they would have it when the hostess called me to confirm my reservation. It was perfect. The coffee was really good too.The service was a little slow but they were busy. The atmosphere was lively. The decor was beautifully done in a historic setting that takes you back in time. The room upstairs by the restrooms is a must see as well. Some great photo ops here.Of course we had to try the Bananas Foster since it was birthed here. Our server prepared it at our table with the story of its origin.I love the professional staff from the three calls confirming our reservations, to the servers and food runners. Yes we will be back.Vegetarian options: Avocado toast, bananas foster seafood Gumbo, potatoes, fruit bowl…Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat meat and there were options.”
“Our servers, Jesse and Latisha, were wonderful and made us feel very special. They were attentive and warm and welcoming. We had the shrimp Romoulade and the crab appetizers, ,which were excellent. My husbands shrimp creole was also very good. The side of fresh asparagus was perfect my cooked. Unfortunately the Pompano Pnochatrain was a disappointment. It was supposed to be grilled with abutter poached lump crab and a white wine reduction. It was very dry and tough with no sign of any sauce. The baked Alaska was not flamed table side and had minimal signs of having been flambéed in the kitchen. Overall an uneven experience but the evening was definitely saved by our two servers.”
“Mr B wasn't originally on our radar, but we made a last-minute decision to give it a try. To our surprise, we were seated almost instantly upon arrival. The staff, from the host to the waiter, was incredibly courteous and friendly. We had our hearts set on trying two specific dishes: the soft shell crab and the seared scallops. Without wasting any time, we ordered them both, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The jumbo scallops were delicately placed on a bed of crayfish risotto, sautéed with sweet onion, pepper, and herbs. They were surrounded by a red pepper chive butter sauce and garnished with crispy sweet corn. As for the soft shell crab, it was served atop a fresh corn maque choux, accompanied by a lemon butter sauce. Both dishes were exquisite and perfectly balanced, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be the scallops.”
“The sautéed crab claws and sauce will be on my mind for the rest of my life. It was unreal how good everything here was. The service and everyone working were professional and nice. Thank you for making this lunch an event to remember :)”
“Luke's looks like most steak or fine dining establishments, but the food is different. Located downtown, it was across from our hotel and we stopped in for dinner. The staff was extra busy so it took a whole to place an order and get some drinks. But everything was worth the wait. The Black Valvet, a play on an espresso martini, was delicious! We ordered the brussel sprouts and 2 orders of bbq oysters to start and they were some of the best I've ever had! The entrees we picked were the Mahi Mahi and the seafood Seafood Bouillabaisse. Both very good choices but the appetizers at this place would have been enough as you get big servings. Would highly recommend for the food and drinks.”
“Antoine was a fantastic server ...polite, courteous, attentive, and extremely handsome. oh and the food was good too. I ordered the soup of the day which was the crab chowder - really decadent but not too rich. Dinner was a coffee rubbed filet cooked to perfection. I was dining alone but seated close to two different couples who did not know each other but struck up a conversation due to their proximity and I enjoyed their conversation as one couple was Swedish and the other was from AL but had Swedish roots. it was a really cool place to eat since I would call it fine dining but a comfortable feel. 10/10. Ask for Antoine.”
“The best food on my vacation! The fried oysters, crab cheesecake, fried fish, and bread pudding were phenomenal. Claude was beyond expectations and an amazing server. A must try!”
“We visited this restaurant this past Saturday! Table of 9…Kobe was the waiter! He was the best and friendly! Wait times were not bad to be seated or for food to arrive!”
“nice atmosphere with very good food and service. Jeremiah was by far the best server in the restaurant and made sure we had everything we needed when we wanted it.”
“Meril, Meril how I love you This is one of our favorite spots to go for date night or just meeting some friends for dinner and delicious cocktails. Service is always top-notch. We usually have a main waiter and then someone assisting with the table. But don't take that as a stuffy, uppity place to be, it's very casual and nice to have servers taking care of the table all throughout the meals. Apps: we decided to make a meal out of appetizers, and we kind of went overboard. Definitely small plates but big enough to share with leftovers if you do it right. We decided to order appetizers and make that our meal. We chose the Bacon Braised Collard Greens from the daily specials. We also chose Smoked Fish Dip, Crispy Cod Sliders, Deviled Eggs, Korean Fried Chicken Wings and Pad Thai Cauliflower For cocktails we started with English Turn(grapefruit but not sour), Tchoup(cucumber deliciousness) and Albariño(smooth white wine). All so good! It was also our 11 year anniversary and they surprised us with some cotton candy and a sparkler! Perfection!”

“I was only in town for one night and went to Rosella on the advice of a friend. It was lovely! The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and I loved the overall vibe. I also had a chance to chat with the owners for a few minutes and could tell they really care about the neighborhood and their employees, as well as providing a quality product. I highly recommend supporting this locally-owned restaurant and the wonderful folks bringing their vision to Mid-City.Parking: There's a small private lot behind the restaurant.”
“I’m so happy we found this place! The Menu Sampler was delicious! The Pernil and Reina Arepas are a great sample duo if you’re undecided on what to get. The tequeños were exquisite; they felt homemade. We got a dozen frozen to go. The passion fruit juice was 100% natural, none of the added sugar silliness of other juices. Next time we’ll get the Pavillion Arepa! Can’t wait to go back.”

“My husband and I are Thai food lovers so we like to try new Thai restaurants in every part of the city — we went to go see the Monet exhibit and decided to stop by Good Catch Thai Urban Bistro. The food is top notch! We really enjoyed our meal including my jumbo lump crab curry entree and my husband’s Tom Yum Noodle soup entree. We also ordered several appetizers and all were very good with fresh ingredients. Will definitely be back!”
“Stopped here with a friend to try some beers and it was a great experience. Ecology has a great beer selection in a nice discreet comfortable setting. I will be back.”
“The newest and coolest Country themed bar in the FQ. Plenty of planning & expense went into this brand new bar. Authentic! Staff is very welcoming, drinks are generously poured, spotlessly clean and the huge balcony overlooking Bienville St. offers a FQ/N.O. skyline view unlike any other you'll find. If you dig country bar vibes, this is the place.”
“We stumbled upon this place bc it was near our hotel and while It's unassuming from the outside, the food was delicious! And the staff is very friendly. Caribbean Paradise? Daiquiri- the tropical flavor daiquiri is THE best. Almost tastes like those peach cups you had as a kid. Seafood platter: comes with fried fish, shrimp, and oyster. The fish and shrimp were SPECTACULAR. Sooo tasty and loved the sauces that came with. Didn't love the oyster (but not a fried oyster fan in general), a bit chewy. Fries were excellent. We actually ended up coming here again during our trip, the second time we ordered raw oysters, etouffe, and a shrimp platter and a fish platter. Raw oysters were delicious and the etouffee here is also super tasty! Wish the platters game with more fish/shrimp, felt the same amount as the seafood platter.”
“Came here for breakfast & had a blueberry muffin & sausage egg cheese sandwich. Both were amazing. Came back for dinner and got the spaghetti bolognese. It’s the best pasta I had in a while. Definitely coming back.”
“This was a total hidden gem right above the bustling music halls of Frenchman street! The food was absolutely amazing. The charbroiled oysters, lamb lollipops, and octopus were perfection. With all the big name restaurants we visited in New Orleans, this was our favorite meal of the trip. Ambience was nice and quiet and the wines were awesome. You won't regret giving this place a try!”
“Jessica provided an excellent tour of their distillery, gave an awesome tasting experience in a great atmosphere and made this a stellar visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheers!”
“I appreciated the warm greeting and genuine smile. Professional attitude and knowledge of all questions we asked of her, of course she gave us great service, her name was Lashaun, S.”
“Food Is Amazing! Every time me and my family come here we always got the best service. Our server Bosco is amazing, he checks for refills and always makes sure we're good. Great people and Great food.Recommended!”
