This place goes into my list of restaurants where I had a terrible time getting a table but had such great service I couldn't stay mad. I went here for dinner with my parents and we caught the tail end of their happy hour rush and were told there would be about an hour wait. No problem - I downloaded whichever app they use to monitor their line and we went to a nearby bar for drinks. When the app showed there were two parties ahead of us we returned and the hostess seemed genuinely shocked we were back. We waited and she said there would be a table cleared soon so she sat the three of us at two bar stools. I let my parents sit while I awkwardly hovered in the very narrow space. We ordered some crab cakes and beers to pass the time - thankfully after about 15 minutes a solo diner at the bar finished up and I could grab his seat. There was no table opening up anytime soon. BUT. That didn't matter because sitting at the bar we had a great time talking to the owner. He let us try different beers, kept pouring us extra tastes and was just very pleasant to talk to. I can't remember everything we drank that night but I could tell this was a beer menu he had put thought into. I don't think anyone in my party had a bad beer. Once we were settled in we got the squid salad, my dad got the swordfish steak, my mom got the beer steamed mussels and I got the scallop special. It was all very delicious - especially the squid salad. It was so simple but the squid was perfectly charred. Overall we had a great time - just getting to it proved to be a hassle. I highly recommend you make reservations or come at an off peak time.
We were 15 minutes earlier for their 5 o'clock opening. The staff wasn't very friendly telling us to come back at 5 o'clock. Well, when we returned just at quarter past 5 o'clock, the bar is already full! We were seated quickly and our server is very nice. It has a good selection of oysters. For happy hours, you get a dozen oysters with beer for a special price which is worth it cos we tried 4 different kinds of oysters! Then we ordered blue whale which are huge oysters, not on happy hour menu but they are meaty!! So good pairing with brown ale! Oh this place has a good selection of beer as well. The fettuccini is amazing! Big clams, 9 of them are fresh, juicy, the fettuccini cooked with garlic butter and cheese just smells and taste divine! For just $16, unbelievable ! Mussels are huge too and fresh! The only problem I have is that the mussels still has sands in them. The soup of the mussels is just YUM!
I don't write reviews often but wanted to point out this outstanding restaurant. Food, service and drinks were great and decently priced for New York. We ended up coming here two nights in a row during our New York City trip!
So delicious, for rush hour though get there right at 5 or you won't get a spot. Service was good, food came out on time. Lovely!
Came for happy hour on a Wednesday and arrived right when it started around 5pm so we were seated right away. There were many options for oysters and 3 on the happy hour list. Their happy hour is 12$ for a beer and 6 oysters or 16$ for a glass of wine and 6 oysters. Staff was very helpful and friendly and made great suggestions. Their wine options were delicious as was their oyster selection. We also got their uni app and it was fresh and yummy. They don't have a freezer on site so everything is fresh.

Great crowd, great drinks, great food. A place you where you can kick back and relax.
Amazing food and great drinks. Owner is awesome and has a habit of getting the customers to take shots of Jamison. Lots of shots of Jamison.
Food is amazing. Jeff is great. Prices are good. Bartenders are friendly. Been there many times.
The best owners and dumplings. So inviting.
So good, especially the drunken fish soup and fisherman's stew. Loved the crispy fried rice. Personable owner. You cannot order too much -- it's all too tasty. Reasonable prices. Great for groups so you can try everything (we numbered 8, paid about $20 each and ate and drank very very well).

Unbelievably good. I wasn't a seafood fan until this place, which brought back childhood memories of crab fishing with my pa. Simple, reasonable and delicious. Loved it.
I have come here a few times. Great seafood. I've tried all of the bags but my favorite are getting just the snow and king crabs. ( Mostly because I'm too lazy to make the effort for shrimp and crawfish). Great vibes. Good for groups. Get ready to get down and dirty.
I was raised in New Orleans. Thus was legitimate Cajun boil. Great food. Hospitable staff. Fun experience. A bit pricey but well worth it.
I love going here. The food is great. I always have to get their gumbo whenever I come here. Staff are friendly. They provide you gloves and a plastic bib so you don't get any seafood on your clothes. It's a Cash Only place, so make sure you bring cash. If you forget then they have a ATM inside.
Good food, bad service. Only accepts cash. 20% automatic gratuity for parties of 4 or more. They told us that they wouldn't seat us until our entire party was present (2guys parking). Then another group comes in and says they're waiting on someone parking, but they get seated immediately. When we inquired as to why they could be seated and not us, the hostess said "because they're ordering." Huh? Did she think we were there to sit and play patty cake? Needless to say,we are black and the other group wasn't. Won't be going back.

Ambience: picture the old style lobster shack on the docks along US1 in Maine. Crowded and hectic (especially at peak lunchtime) but well worth the wait. Food: so far I've had their shrimp roll, the crab roll and the lobster roll (on separate occasions). The shrimp and crab rolls were above average but not perfect. Say 8 out of 10 for either yet still well worth the price. The lobster roll is a delight ... chunks of tender lobster meat in a buttered New England style roll. A definite 10.
Small place with a big taste for lobster. The lobster corn chowder soup was really good. The lobster roll will filled with lots of lobster, and was delicious. I recommend this place for lunch.
I love lobster rolls!!!!! We ordered one lobster roll and one shrimp roll. They kindly asked us if we want to cut them into two. This place you need to get your own water before you find a seat and settle in. The place was kinda hard to find since a lot of place around that area were repairing or something like that as that time we went. However, we are so glad we found here!!!!
So delicious but sooo expensive. This is my first experience with a lobster roll so maybe that's normal. The roll was the size of the palm of my hand and it hurts me that something so expensive was so good. My wallet would not allow me to get another one. I also had a small clam chowder to go with my roll. That, too, was excellent. I just wished my stomach was more satisfied.
Absolutely superb. Love the fishing/fisherman interior design. The rolls are delicious with crispy flavorful toast, generous seafood and a touch of pepper and salt which make it even tastier. I tried the Luke's Trio and find that lobster and crab are my favorites. Prawn will be slightly common. Top up 3bucks for 2 sides and I love their chips! A pity the portion is small as compared to the American usual portion. Try it!

I had heard great things about the restaurant in Iceland, so I tried the NYC one out. The restaurant's design and interior are very nice. All of the food was delicious. I recommend the mango salad as a side. Definitely try the desserts and the cocktails too! The cocktails were very nice and unique.
Best fish and chips I have ever had (note I am British). Beautifully fresh fish, perfectly cooked potatoes, delicious sauce (I didn't think I liked sauce?!). Great service, music and space. Well, friends, seems like Iceland has done for fish and chips what West India has done for cricket. Howzat?!
I stumbled upon this gem on an extended lunch break while looking for something new to try out. The wolffish and rosemary potatoes were delicious and well cooked. The decor and ambiance is much needed character this city has been lacking lately. Looking forward to coming back with friends in the near future!
I'm conflicted about writing this review. The restaurant has been open 4 weeks. If I write how good it is, others will read it, and in the future I'll have to make a reservation! (Seriously, very good!)
The food here was fantastic and the atmosphere is unique. This was a very good fish fry with some healthy sides. The portions are pretty big for NYC which was a welcome surprise.
