Couldn't recommend highly enough. All the information was online and accessible for me to place as specific an online order as possible. Food was ready when they said it would be. Instead of eating a CLIF bar for lunch and dinner, I get to eat real, freshly prepared food with a proper Hashgacha. Happy customer here!
Quick and attentive staff. Try the green sauce with sushi. Kind of a popular hole in the wall lunch spot. Would recommend
It's basically a hole in the wall that serves really good bagels and sushi for a good price.
Great Kosher spot right near wall street's charging bull. The sushi is the best in NYC and the manager is a great guy!!
Small and inside the building so not very visible. However it is tasty and priced well. Take it outside and sit in the park by the fountain.

Fantastic space! The architecture alone was enough to make me wanna come back. A group of 6 of us visited for a birthday/bachelorette dinner and it was amazing. The presentation, the food (that I could eat) was excellent! Alex, the host, was such a gentleman and even though this place doesn't have a great deal of vegan options, the oyster mushroom hand rolls and cucumber salad were out of this world!
Great pleasure everytime I came here. This place is perfect in every way possible. My expectations have been blown away of how perfect everything is. Every piece I eat is made with such precision and expertise. Incredible service and a wonderful menu that is sure to please any creative food lover. Unreal Domokase! Highly recommended
I don't think you can like this place, and claim to know good sushi. It has generous portions of good fish, and that's about all it has. The "sushi" rice is severely lacking. The nori is basic, and there's little refinement in the flavors. I do get the sense that they tried to be inventive, but they largely failed to come up with anything memorable. The service was ok, if not a bit inexperienced.
Sushi and sashimi are fresh and good quality. Their hand rolls are maybe too new age fusion-y for me ... why is everything cooked and sauced up?? I prefer my hand rolls with raw fish and simple. Overall a good dining experience. Delicious shochu cocktails.
Best sushi outside of Japan. Very innovative menu. Good service and ambiance.

Food is amazing. People are helpful and personable. Sake is sublime. Better than O-ya. Chef is great and accommodating. I would travel from Rhode Island to NYC just to visit Ato!
Small, cosy, very nice people and excellent food!!!
Great Omakase experience! must try counter seating to see the kitchen and the creations.
Only French-Japanese fusion omekase in NYC. Delicious food, informal friendly atmosphere. Chef William is a master.
Authentic sushi with a modern vibe. Glad to have this in the hood!

I had the Nacho Supreme. At first, I was disappointed when I picked up my order, because I (for some reason) thought the tortilla chips were in addition to rice; my mistake. But man, was this tasty! My only issue was that the jalapeno chunks are very large; they aren't crazy spicy because they have no seeds, but still were an unwieldy size for eating. But the fish was great, as were the edemame and sauces, not to mention very friendly service that paid attention to my order notes from my pick up order. Will definitely go here again.
Absolutely loved their food. We had the poke bowl with Spicy Salmon and the food was just delicious. I especially enjoyed the fresh veggie options and they had a ton of interesting options for add ons. Would love if they opened a few more locations in the City.
I went to the one on canal street. The person serving me took a phone call while serving my meal and then proceeded to fulfill my order after touching his phone. Fish didn't feel fresh, salmon was a bit brown 😓 I like the idea, but needs improvement.
The food there is great. They have some pre-designed combinations that you can order, or you can build your own bowl from a really large array of interesting and fresh ingredients.
Tasty and Healthy. Friendly staff and fast service. Wish they offer more option in the future

I really have grown to love zest. Despite reading a few bad reviews, I have been at least a dozen times in the past year and the happy hour deals can't be beat - price wise, and sushi wise. It's delicious, casual, comfortable enough and the service is great. Some seating is a bit too close but Land a nice table and get a $13 pitcher of Sapporo, and you'll be a happy camper. It's not high class so don't take a new date there. It's for friends to catch up or a couple after a long day at work. Happy hour is for food and drink!
I've been there at least 6 times so far and I can't get enough. I tell all my my friends to go to their happy hour because not only are the specials great, but the food is really delicious. The spicy salmon mini don is by far my favorite dish!
Good food in a quaint venue. The mixed sushi plate was very fresh and the gyoza was delicious. They also have Orion beer which is a huge plus. Nice range of sake too.
Out of every sushi place I've been to, this is hands down the best sushi I have ever had anywhere. Absolutely delicious, they really know what they're doing. I'd give it a 6/5 if I could. Prices are very cheap too.
Good deal during happy hour. Pretty good sushi and dessert options.
