Jalapeno Double Cheeseburger Debuts At Both Carl's Jr and Hardee's
Hardee's and Carl's Jr. have announced their spiciest creation yet - the "Jalapeno Double Cheeseburger", which can be purchased for $2.49.
The burger was established on the brands' infamous charbroiled beef potteries, two slices of Pepper Jack cheese, five jalapeno coins, Santa Fe Sauce, tomato and lettuce - all on a classic-style burger bun.
Both restaurants offer the burger with its mighty fiery punch.
Hardee's and Carl's Jr. Chief Executive Officer Jason Marker said the majority of burger chains offer a value burger that has no real flavor to it. He said the companies' Jalapeno Double Cheeseburger is loaded with a powerful and spicy flavor at an affordable price of $2.49.
Marker said the chains have made enormous stride in expanding their mark in the value menu market, especially with the launch of its $4 Real Deal, Hardee's Classic Double Cheeseburger and Carl's Jr. California Classic Double Cheeseburger. Now, the Jalapeno Double Cheeseburger is the companies' next contribution.
The sandwich can be purchased at either Hardee's and Carl's Jr alone for $2.49 or be paired with fries and drink for $4.99, although the price will vary based on the location offered.
