Sharon Ardiana Will Open New Restaurant

Sharon Ardiana has decided to turn the former La Nebbia location into a restaurant that will mix California, Italian and Mediterranean flavors. It will be called Ardiana.

Ardiana's menu will be a lengthened version of her present restaurants - Ragazza and Gialina. The menu will include pizza but also heartier dishes and vegetable-focused plates.

La Nebbia's owner Massimiliano Conti said he was closing the restaurant and decided to sell it after talking with a buyer. In the beginning, it was not known who this buyer was.

Ardiana said Conti, along with his wife Lorella, came up to her about the idea because they wanted someone who would take care of the place and carry on their tradition of friendly customer service and great food.

Ardiana got together with her business partner Greg Hinds, the general manager of Ragazza. During the next few months, they'll change La Nebbia's color scheme, lighting and replace its tables and chairs.

The goal is to open Ardiana by early summer.

She said her and Hinds' goal is to continue the tradition the Conti couple set in motion.
