Taco Bell The King Of Limited-Time Only Foods Will Stop Offering Naked Chicken Chalupa Soon
Taco Bell is getting rid of its Naked Chicken Chalupa but offering several more products in its place. The fast-food Mexican restaurant is introducing three new items to its menu, in the hopes that one will tickle the taste buds and satisfy them. These items include:
Doritos Quesalupa Crunch
Doritos Quesalupa Crunch - This is a Doritos Locos Taco that's got a Quesalupa shell with cheese.
Chicken Enchilada Burrito
Chicken Enchilada Burrito - This is a burrito loaded with rice, cheese, source cream and two chicken taco rolls in with red enchilada sauce.
Caesar Crunchwrap - This is a crunchwrap with either steak or chicken, romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, corn chips, cheese, tomatoes and Caesar dressing.
Each of these items is being offered for a limited time - something the restaurant is well-known for. In 2016, it offered an array of limited-time-only product to separate itself from the competitions and increase its sales. Some of those products included the Cheddar Habanero Quesarito, Walking Nachos and the Airheads White Mystery Freeze.
Many restaurants, Taco Bell included, are using odd menu items to bring in sales and garner the attention of new customers. Taco Bell is well-known for its innovation, and limited-time promotions are often revealed.
For instance, in 2012, the company introduced the Doritos Locos tacos, which now has three flavors - Fiery, Nacho and Cool Ranch. Although its Naked Chicken Chalupa was doing well, Taco Bell will take it off the menu.
According to Rob Poetsch, a spokesman for Taco Bell, the Naked Chicken Chalupa was a limited-time-only offer but surpassed even the company's expectations. There's been no date to when the company will stop offering it.
