Visited the Windmill Restaurant with my family, 5 of us on a Saturday before Fathers day, place very busy but we got seated right away! Great food and lots of coffee fill ups!
Not a good experience. We’re still feeling a bit frustrated. We stopped by today around noon and was told to pick a table. After sitting down, we waited for the waitress for about ten minutes before she came over for our drink order - coffee and water, and we asked for a menu. Well, we received that much but she never came back. We waited for another fifteen minutes before getting up and paying the 2.50 at the register by the door - durning which time we noticed that all the waitresses were just standing there in a group watching us.Place wasn’t busy while we sat waiting at our table. There were about four-five waitress on duty. Wanted to like the place, but bottom line is we were ignored and aren’t likely to return.Pros:Place was clean with a nice atmosphere.
Their salad is out of this world. I order this all the timr. Extra crispy salad so fresh.
Small family restaurant with quick, friendly efficient service, and excellent food at fair prices. The cook is personable as well, and they'll take care of any special requests when they can. I felt both cared for and nourished.?My sandwich was absolutely full, fresh and delicious, and the French fries (they accompany every sandwich) are skin-on, lightly seasoned, and delicious.
Excellent service, great comfort food, prices are good
Excellent food, excellent prices, competitive pricing. Just not a fan of the hollandaise sauce. Outside of that, I've liked everything on th menu so far! Prompt, even when full, too!
Nice relaxed atmosphere. The food was fantastic, quick service also. Wonderful down to earth staff
Great food every time! If you like mushrooms you HAVE to try their fried mushrooms. I've gotten them every time I've gone. I cannot get enough!
Excellent menu, delicious food, attentive waitresses. So glad we found this place!
The Windmill is a very proud family run business on Loudon Road in Concord.Their food is very standard breakfast diner fare, their lunch menu is also classic- mostly sandwiches or burgers. The staff are all very friendly and classic diner staff, and the food comes out quickly and is very very consistent - not the fanciest food but the menu is perfect for the venue. The food isn't mindblowing- but I don't want it to be. Its the perfect place to settle a hangover.Bring your check to the cashier when finished and they'll get you all squared away.
Very good breakfast! Service was great too!
An excellent price, great hours for the working crowd and extremely fast service. By the way, did I mention the food is fantastic, down to earth and delicious home style cooking? Good ol' American food. If you leave hungry, it's your fault. Price for bacon or sausage as a side is a bit high, $4.50 a serving, but everything else more than makes up for it. The servers are older, more experienced and awesome! Much better than getting a brand new kid from high school. They make you feel right at home even when it's your first visit. The regulars are just as friendly. This place is definitely going to be a repeat location, it is that worth it.

The food is always awesome. Very friendly staff and food comes out fast. Eggs Benedict is my go to.
