Food was good, atmosphere was good, but like many other people the service needs work. We didn’t see our waiter for 15 minutes at a time multiple times, despite maybe 10-15 people in the restaurant total. First one was after ordering a whiskey on the rocks, only for me to have to go to the service bar and grab it myself because 15 mins had passed. By the time I grabbed it the big square ice cube was submerged in the whiskey which watered it down from the start. Another problem we had was when ordering the wine flight, that one of the wine glasses had leftover sugar or something around the rim. Surprised I have to point that out and send it back, when a winery should be meticulous on cleanliness of their wine glasses. We were also interested in ordering dessert but didn’t see the waiter for another 10-15 minutes so we just decided to close out and leave.

Our first experience at Americus. It was fantastic. The greeting at the door was quick and courteous. Kat was our waitress. Very pleasant and informative. Fondue appetizer was scrumptious. The food was served hot and delicious. Wine was just what the description said. There were 4 in our party. All of us were very pleased. We will be back and will recommend to others.

The prime rib was great nice big piece. Beautiful piece of meat. The Wait staff is great. The hostess is also great. Nice looking restaurant. I wish your wine tasting was a little later in the day so I could attend.

We ordered the cheese board and charcuterie board. Cheese board was ok. The meat bored was disgusting, they served cold jarred sausage and what looked like canned spam. We ordered the 7 spice wings and the short ribs, all were served cold. The waitress never came around for more drinks and was not knowledgeable on items on the menu. Very disappointed after spending over $200.

Slowly becoming our go to Sunday afternoon spot. Drinks, food and service are always the best! And today, Angie took special care of us. Very helpful, engaging and cheerful! Highly recommend ! See you again soon, Angie!

I was excited to dine here, as the menu looks amazing. Maybe my expectations were too high. Our party of 4 made a reservation, and we were seated on time, at a very small table by the door and main walkway. It was cold out, and cold and drafty at our table the entire time.We started out with drinks, bread basket and cheese fondue. Fondue was OK rather bland, and awkward, as table space was too limited for the giant slate it came out on. Bread was very bland, nothing special. Wine was good. Our entrees came quite a while later, but staff had not cleared our fondue slate, etc and meals were placed at the edge of table, whereever they would fit. So a tiny, overloaded table with barely room to eat.Entrees were OK, my husband loved the duck. My salmon burger was bland. Pork tenderloin got good review. Fries OK. We did not stay for dessert. Might give them another try again some time, but in no hurry to go back. Meh.

It’s ok. The location and atmosphere are great, very pretty area at the old brookstone country club. The in-house wine is good, though I’m not particularly picky. The food, however, was not great. I had the chicken - it was pretty tasteless - the side were alright, I was hoping they would rescue the dish, but didn’t. My wife had the prime rib, which she said was ok, but pretty salty - to be expected, I guess.Overall, the price was very high for kind of marginal food. I doubt we’ll go back, but it is a great location. I guess if we hear things improve we’d give it another shot, but pretty disappointed.

I have never been here but was recommended to go. I got the pork belly appetizer and the Barn burger, both were excellent! The red wine flight was also very nice and opened my eyes to NH wines!

7:30 on a Saturday night and they ran out of the special which was disappointing. There was some confusion with the wine flights and which wine was which when they were served. Took a long time from ordering drinks u til they arrived. Harvest salad was excellent.

We always enjoy our time at Americus. Wait staff is attentive and friendly. Our steaks cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The cauliflower bites are fantastic. Pricing on the steak entree vs serving size is a bit much, but everything else seemed reasonably priced.

LaBelle winery is just a beautiful place to go..Derry and Amherst. It is very welcoming. The food at Americus rivals any high end steak house. We have been several times and it never disappoints. The chef is always putting new items in special. I highly recommend!!

Troy was awesome, attentive-granted was not a busy night but wife and I went out for our 32nd anniversary. She made reservations through Open Table and ordered Date for 2..got glass of champagne/huge charcuterie board/bottle of wine/chocolate covered strawberries plus our dinners (short ribs/spaghetti with creamy pesto sauce and lump crab)-all for about $170. Pretty good deal in my opinion. Food was delicious. Never have had a bad experience. Good value.

Not our first time at Americus and as usual it didn't disappoint. Wait staff was prompt, professional, accommodating yet didn't hover. Our party of 4 all picked different entrees and devoured them! Love the new menu that accommodates all palates. The dining space is large, spread out, comfortable and attractive. Great for special occasions or just dinner out.

We dined with another couple and all had great meals. They have a delicious burger and hand cut fries, the salmon dish was nicely prepared. Our server, Troy , was very helpful, attentive and efficient. Lovely atmosphere both in the bar area and dining area. Outside patio in warmer weather is also nice and pet friendly.
