Tuesday was my first time at Americus for "buck a shuck" oysters and they were AMAZING! But thats not even the beginning.. Even just driving up to the restaurant there were some really nice lights for the holidays. There was plenty of parking, which is always key. The whole vibe of the inside of the restaurant is clearly elevated so you feel a little LESS like youre in NH !! The hostess was great! She had a high top reserved in the bar area where she recommend to be because it was a bit quieter. She brought us over and it was right by a tree that was lit and it was just super nice. There was plenty of space at the table so it felt comfortable. Our server was awesome (apologies that I cant remember her name)! We ended up getting a ton of oysters to start and the bartender by request made me a custom martini (actually 2!) that were amazing!! It was also great that he came over at the end of the night and asked me how I liked it. We also ordered the buffalo lobster pizza and it was HEAVEN! SO GOOD! We will ABSOLUTELY be back! Thanks so much for a great evening and experience, Americus!Kid-friendliness: I think it may be okay for families but thankfully we didnt really have to deal with that because we were seated in the bar area.. its nice that they cater to and pay attention to detail when it comes to things like that!Parking: Parking was right in front of the building and there seemed to be plenty.. it WAS a Tuesday night so it might be a little more difficult on the weekends but we didnt experience any issues
Amazing dinner - great drinks, awesome food, and fantastic service!
Service was outstanding, as usual. Waiter was absolutely exceptional!
It started with our waitress Angie delivering the one cocktail we ordered and it was wrong (so we sent it back) then she only placed only half of our appetizer order so there was not enough to go around.. we paid $52 for a bone in filet of beef that was over cooked and dry.. we had a reservation specifically at 5:00 as LaBelle was having a special for 10% of your meal between 4-5 pm if you also bought tickets for the light show, which we did. ..when the check came she did not apply the 10% discount .. when we questioned her she directed us to read the sign on the 10% special which said dinner 4-5 pm 10% off and she stated it was for dinner 4 pm to REALLY 4:59 pm and that our 5pm reservation was a minute to late.. we had to get to the point where we had to ask for the manager and finally had 10% taken off as our reservation was between 4-5pm .. so disappointed.. new to area and quality restaurants and service are in such dire need in southern NH. We miss BurlingtonMA 3rd ave for sure
I thought I selected the birthday package but I guess i didnât because it didnât happen. Oh well. Everything else was amazing!
The date night package was wonderful- excellent charcuterie platter and drinks. Very sweet!
experience was good but food was not warm enough. cold in restaurant.
Natalie, our waitress was phenomenal!! she has a wonderful personality and was so efficient and instrumental in making our dinner after the Light Show exquisite. We had one of the best night outs with our son and his wife thank to Natalie. The food was delicious too!!.
Great night celebrating moms 73rd birthday. Topped it off with a great stroll through the Christmas lights
A very enjoyable experience. Our waitress was accommodating and pleasant allowing us to enjoy a leisurely lunch. The cheeseboard and mussels were terrific appetizers. Definitely plan to return!
Very nice just a bit loud inside but great food and ambience!
The music was so loud and annoying it was hard to have a conversation. People ended up just yelling to talk over it and it got louder and louder. Food was good. Service was good. Drinks were fine.
Was celebrating a special occasion with friends and enjoyed our dinner.
The food was GOOD, but not excellent. Server was very nice. My boyfriend really enjoyed his poke bowl, but my chicken dinner portion was way too small. We only had tap water (soda is $5), I think it's overpriced for the portion size! The bread rolls they serve before dinner (only 2) were tasteless. They tasted like Bisquick, or like cheap pancakes- yuck! We love going out to eat but weren't overly impressed. I was almost still hungry when we left. And then the exit door was stuck and I couldn't leave. I had to go back inside and find wait staff to let me out. Yikes.
